I love Dr. Lynch AND his staff! (Josh is the best - always helpful - follows through - even texts on his day off!) I started treatment for various issues - fillings, crown replacement, etc. When my two front teeth continually needed repairs for chips that were filled (due to the nature of the chip location - and from previous dentists), Dr. Lynch explained that I needed crowns. I will admit, I was TERRIFIED, but they turned out beautifully. My teeth are actually prettier than before, and no one even noticed that I had crowns. I would trust Dr. Lynchs suggestion on anything that I needed. Hes the best dentist that Ive ever encountered, bar none!

Dr. Lynch identified a serious issue that all other doctors had missed - I am eternally grateful!! During a routine exam/cleaning, Dr. Lynch asked me a couple of questions regarding my general health. My answers led him to ask a few more, and the next thing I knew he was examining all sorts of things with my mouth/ jaw. He suggested I visit my general practitioner, who scoffed at me, but still sent me off for testing. Lo and behold - Dr. Lynch was right. Given the circumstances, it wouldve probably been 10-15 years before someone else caught the issue, which wouldve had terrible consequences for my health (the issue likely started 7-10 years ago and had already caused quite a lot of nonattributable misery). I dont know how to express that much gratitude, but hopefully a review and a bunch of referrals will help as a start.

Amazing practice!! The hygienist Tiffanie did such a wonderful job. She was gentle yet thorough and kindly explained what she was doing. Went in for tooth pain, not only did they knock my filling out, they handed me a 7000 bill and fixed absolutely nothing. Went home, tooth in question cracked in half and fell out. Office and doctor magically unavailable for contact or help afterwards. Do NOT use this dentist...local dentist said that I am the 3rd patient they’ve seen that Dr Lynch has messed up this month. Avoid at all costs!

The care I get here for my teeth is AMAZING!!!! Everyone that works here will go above and beyond to ensure all questions are answered and everything is provided for. If you have an emergency they will move their whole day around and get you in immediately. Wait times here are not bad. Dr. Lynch and his staff are the best. Past situations have caused me to have bad dental anxiety and not trust dentists but everyone here is so compassionate and understanding. My daughter was in pure agony, but the pediatric dentist wasnt available for 3 days! Dr. Lynch, while not a pediatric dentist, was able to see her immediately and talked us through the necessary remedial actions and further instructed us what to tell the pediatric doctors (not her initial pediatric dentist). It was a terrible ordeal for my family, but Dr. Lynch made a profound difference that day by readily making time in his schedule and I couldnt be happier that we decided to chose this place for my wife and I.Ultimately, they treat you like family and you always leave with sparkling smile... and a new toothbrush.

In looking for a dentist, I found Dr. Bernard Lynch of Dental Care Burke. During my 1st visit, a consult, x-rays, photos and Impressions for a wax up were done. I was given a treatment plan for veneers and a partial denture. I was assured by Dr. Lynch he would start and complete the work in the office. I was asked to prepay for the services and I would receive a discount and I accepted. Dr. Lynch started the treatment for my veneers after my initial treatment visit, he sent me to see his friend for evaluation on one of my teeth. When I called to make an appointment with his friend’s office, I later found out that the doctor he referred me to was out of network. I informed Dr. Lynch; I really wanted to see someone in my network and what other recommendations he had. He told me he had none. I called my insurance company; only find out Dr. Lynch was also out of my network. Having already started treatment, I depended on his judgement and decided to continue even though I was misled to believe otherwise.For a while, I received no call back with regards to the next step in my treatment. Over a month had gone by and my temporary veneers kept falling out while I waited to be appointed. Dr. Lynch’s work had begun to fall apart more then what I had expected, a total of 7 repairs/re-cementation visits since the work started. I was left on temporaries for a total year with no feed back on to what is my next step. Dr. Lynch was never present to evaluate the reasons for my re-cements. Growing more concerned with my dental health, I urged Dr. Lynch to come visit me in the hospital while being treated for a separate medical condition to re-cement his work and questioned why this keeps happening to which no explanation was given. I was growing even more concerned with the lack of professionalism, respect and lack of concern by Dr Lynch.On May 11th 2018, I was at Dental Care Burke to see Dr. Bernard Lynch to repair my temporary veneers that broke into 3 pieces. This would be the 7th time. When I got to Dental Care Burke, Dr. Lynch’s office was closed. No one from Dr. Lynch’s office was there to help me. After numerous failed attempts and waiting for an hour, I elected to be seen by a nearby dentist. The new dentist I met informed me of my concerns with the failing temporaries. Due to the nature of my treatment, the doctor took a CT-Scan to properly diagnosis my issue. This is when I was informed my problem was beyond just broken temporaries. He identified several areas of severe infection along with other concerns with my teeth that were not diagnosed by Dr. Lynch. These concerns were also not presented to me while being treated by Dr. Lynch. Yet, I was schedule to get my final veneers and denture delivered the following week. The treatment case plan (contract) detailed only 6 veneers and a partial. The new dentist informed me that I did not have any veneers, but did have teeth prepared for crowns/bridge with severe bone loss, abscesses resulting from a failed or poor treatment and decay on certain teeth. I was left to feel neglected and a year later I am no better now and only to find out I have additional problems that were undiagnosed. Dr. Lynch is more concerned about money then the care of his patients, he clearly has shown that with collecting my money prior to completing or properly caring for my dental health.Dr. Lynch is not to be trusted, lacks professional judgement and has a foul nature when confronted. I felt wrongly neglected for no reason. I have reported him my insurance company and the Virginia State Board for insurance fraud. He fraudulently billed my insurance company for veneers verses for crowns that he was doing, so my insurance company would deny my treatment. He was submitting cosmetic procedures so my insurance company would deny the claim. I do not recommend anyone to come see this dentist he will leave you in far worst condition then you arrived with all his malpractice and lack of better judgment.

I’ve head so many amazing things about Dr. Bernard Lynch and the way he cares and how trusted he is. Since I was way overdue do for a cleaning (5 years!) I went to Dr.Lynch’s office. Pam, the hygienist, did the cleaning — it actually felt… good??? I know! She was so careful and thorough. Okay, so that’s a big check mark for his hygienist. Then Dr. Lynch entered to ensure the cleaning was to his standard and to examine my mouth for consultation. I’m not sure how to say this other than — when he sat down beside me, it was like magic. I was now in the hands of an expert artist. The way he examined my mouth; his use of his instruments. So gentle and so confident. He cared about my mouth more than I did, but now I have so much more interest and pride in my own oral care. I had not been motivated enough to do anything about a crown that had been bothering me (food getting caught) or crowded teeth that would cause an upper tooth to slightly protrude. I hated that when I looked at pictures, I’d see that tooth. But still was not motivated enough to do anything about it even though it would make a difference. Well, I am beyond excited to have him replace my crown and start Invisalign. I can’t believe I was “ok” with how things were. I admire and trust Dr. Lynch and his staff — they all really care. I feel like I have a team who’s committed to me and the longevity of my healthy, happy smile. KK

I had issues with my tooth at the back for a long time. The filling in this tooth wasnt done properly because the food was getting stuck everytime when I was eating.I was complaining to my old dentist for years, she kept telling me she is going to fix it. But nothing was fixed.Then a friend recommended Dr. Lynchs office. I got scheduled pretty fast.And, OMG, one visit and it was fixed.Dr. Lynch showed me the Xray and actually the old filling was sticking out from the tooth and it was between the teeth so thats why food was getting stuck. I had no idea about it.I was very happy how the appointment went. I was informed about the treatment details. I even got a short massage from the assistant while Dr. Lynch was numbing me.I definitely recommend Dr. Lynch because he cares.

I have to say Im scared of dentists all my life especially because since I was a teenager I had braces and whenever I went for check it was not very nice experience. Not very polite and patient doctor who obviously didnt like her job. I got recommendation to go to Dr. Lynchs office from my friend who was assuring me I will definitely change my mind afterwards. I really have to say I did!!! I called the office and got a schedule pretty fast. Since the first moment it was a completely different experience and approach comparing to what I was use to. My previous Doctor didnt do a great job with fillings and I was having troubles with them all the time. I also had 1 tooth completely removed and replaced like 2years ago and after a short time I started to have a small space in between and whenever I was eating food got stuck there. When dr. Lynch did Xray I didnt have to tell him anything he could see it. This space I had led to having a lot of bacteria there as dr. Lynch explained me. First he had to remove the old filling next to this tooth as bacteria was spreading pretty fast and after he could start to work on this tooth. During the whole time he was very patient and spend lot of time making sure he explains what is he doing and what will be the next step. He was asking me every few minutes if I feel ok, if I need a break! It was great! My filling and the problematic tooth got fixed and we scheduled a plan on fixing fillings on rest of my teeth. I will be more than happy to go back! I definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to have his teeth healthy and to have a great doctor who understands his patients needs!
