Eye surgery is a tough thing to wade through reviews for. Hopefully this review can help somebody with their decision.I HIGHLY recommend Berg Feinfield Vision Correction for your eye surgery needs. I was lucky enough to be recommended by a friend whom Dr. Berg performed surgery on, and as she so confidently told me, it was the best decision she could have made. And, in turn, Im confident it was the best decision I could have made.From the beginning, the process was transparent and efficient, and left little to question. I personally went for LASIK -- I went in for a consultation a week after making the call, and in for surgery a month later. I have 20/15, feel great, and would go into the difference its made in my life but just trust me -- 100% worth the time and money.Besides the results of the surgery, Dr. Berg and his office are the real reason Im taking the time to write this review. Everyone was fantastic throughout the whole process and Dr. Berg really made you feel like youd been coming to his practice for the last 20 years. I felt comfortable, confident, and oddly enough, respected. Not something I thought I needed to feel in a situation like this but everyone was so professional.I will say I wasnt quite prepared for the immediate aftermath of post-op. Im sure its different for everyone but take the drugs they give you immediately! Its not fun once you get home...let the drugs knock you out and be ready to take in the world when you wake up.

DR. ROBERT FEINFIELD PROVIDES EXCEPTIONAL CARE. HAD CATARACT SURGERY WHICH I RESISTED ON BOTH EYES, WAS THE BEST ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED. I WAS STUNNED, COMPLETELY AMAZED AT HOW MUCH IT IMPROVED MY SIGHT. BERG-FEINFIELD GROUP ARE THE BEST.

I had Lasik in 2016 and even got the insurance which was an extra 1600. After missing one eye exam they voided my insurance and low and behold my Lasik started to fail after 3 years. This Dr is a scam artist and his employees are crooks. Stay away and find someone who wont rip you off.

Dr. Bergs care and ease made me feel very confident with Lasik surgery even though I was very skeptical of the results. I was doubtful because of my bad astigmatism. Every doctor told me I would have to wear glasses forever! But Dr. Berg was certain I would be able to see 20/20 and he was right! I cant believe the results. Thank you Dr. Berg for restoring and healing my vision! I only wish I did it sooner! A big thank you to everyone in the office for their caring and friendly service. I will tell everyone of my amazing experience. Highly recommended!

I got LASIK and I now have 20/20 vision. Dr. Berg and his staff handled everything extremely well.. would recommend!

UPDATE: went to the appt. Doctor and nurses were great, very patient. One ran a test wrong three times but it was fine, lol. Front desk gets 2 stars, totally get why the mailbox is full. They don’t properly explain anything on the phone and when I was leaving, the doctor asked them to give me sunglasses but they didn’t and I wasn’t sure why (haven’t had my eyes dilated in maybe 15 years?) until I was on the ground level and outside. Had to birdbox it to my car. Sun was blinding. Luckily had sunglasses in my car.I can’t recall my doctors name but she was a woman and very good.Original:I’ll Update this once my appt happens however I was told to make an appt via my primary eye doctor. Their mailbox is always full and nobody answers the phone. My doctor had to email them and have them call me. I was asked to call back and provide my insurance info since I had answered in my car on speaker phone and couldnt grab my ID card.Nobody has picked up and the mailbox is still full. Please delete your messages. Also, the women at the main number just kept transferring me to the same number, lol. The woman with a heavy accent got annoyed after I had explained that I cant get in touch with anyone there and said she couldnt help me and to just keep trying.Why do you just have phone operators transferring calls with no other purpose?

Dr. Berg is a quack! He completely ignored my preexisting medical conditions while telling me that I was the perfect candidate for lasik. When I started having complications, less than a week after surgery, he again ignored my previous medical conditions and acted perplexed as to why I was having so many issues. By the time he referred me to a corneal specialist who could actually help, it was too late.I was blind for several months and now have permanent damage to my eyes, all because of Dr. Bergs incompetence. Because of him, I lost over $90,000 in lost wages and medical expenses, and this is not including my life savings of $400,000 that I lost in an investment that I couldnt manage when I couldnt see.I will continue to suffer from Dr. Bergs complete disregard for my health and life for the rest of my life. And I am not alone. I have personally spoken to 5 other people with similar stories as mine. Stay away from Dr. Berg, and dont do lasik!!

I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Berg to have my cataract surgery. He gave me the opportunity to enjoy life, see clearer, read without reading glasses and my eyes are less sensitive to the sun. Wishing him all the best and God bless! 🙌

Dr. Yates is a thorough examiner located on Glenoaks in Burbank. She is not only beautiful shes been the best optometrist Ive been to. She runs field vision tests and her assistants are very friendly too. If I could recommend any doctor she is it because of her Amiable attitude which is important when you are already nervous. She has reasonable prices one her high end glasses as well as moderately priced ones as well. She takes Medical which is a godsend. I cant recommend her enough. She changes my life through the years.

Over the past few weeks I have been preparing for the moment that was going to change my life. For the past 27+ yrs I have been using contact lenses and glasses. Well to be honest mostly contacts because my prescription was way to high my glasses were so thick and I was not only insecure but also I am very active and glasses only impeded with my daily activities. On top of that I would hardly if ever take out my contacts even at night as I had a phobia of not being able to find my glasses and not be able to see if there was an emergency like an earthquake or fire. But this was becoming very unhealthy for my eyes and so before things got worse I made my appointment to see Dr. Berg about LASIK consultation. As it turns out I no longer qualified for LASIK as my prescription was too high (-10.00 and -11.00) BUT I was a candidate for Visian implants! Yes it is quite a pretty penny but is worth every single penny and there is financing available which I did and it was the best investment I could have made. My procedure was yesterday and I am one day post op with NO pain (even the day of surgery I never had any pain or discomfort). The recovery and effects are pretty much immediate. I went in for a 2 hour post op pressure check and not only were my eyes within pressure range but I was already seeing 20/20 WITH my eyes still fully dilated!! I can’t wait to see it’s full effects once the dilation completely wears off which should be in the next day or two. Dr. Berg and his staff have been nothing short of amazing. Even at Pacific Surgery Center all the nurses and the anesthesiologist, Dr Feldman, were amazing!! The anesthesiologist held my hand throughout the procedure and that was so reassuring and Dr Berg talked me thru what he was doing throughout the procedure. I not only recommend this procedure but if you are going to do it please see Dr. Berg at Berg Feinfield Vision Correction! They are nothing short of amazing!!

I purchased the lifetime extension for $600. I was told I just needed to go to my appointments the first month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months then a year. I did that. I have since had three babies and my vision has suffered.I called to inquire how to cash in on the $600 I paid (which I had to beg to borrow from my mom at the time) and the front desk girl said I needed to have gone every year. I wasnt aware that this had so many strings attached and having had 3 babies in 4 years, Ive been a little busy. I asked to speak to the manager.Kelly (I think that was her name) was the manager who got on the phone. She was extremely rude, confrontational and wouldnt even let me talk. I asked to speak to her manager or someone above her. I guess I can kind of understand that shes an angry, bitter person as Im sure they get a lot of angry people who complain that they stole their money.... since that seems to be the business they are in.She promised someone would call me tomorrow. I gave it a week and heard nothing. I emailed them through the website to have someone call and nothing. They are the definition of thieves- they take your money and literally run away. They wont even answer questions.I plan on calling again, possibly talking to the Better Business Bureau. Im not done.In the meantime, stay far, far away from these people.

Was told by front desk that they had the equipment I needed to treat and diagnose my condition. However, I go in and do the SAME TESTS my optometrists did to only be told that they don’t have the machine they need. Now I get a bill for the same tests my optometrist did and faxed to them?

Doctor Veil is specular! Very thorough and patient. No validated parking but there is free 2hour street parking, good enough for the wait and eye check process.

Great doctor. Was realistic to me about the results. Healed nice and quick.

I agree with Laura G. and others who mentioned on Yelp that they had terrible experience doing LASIK surgery with Dr. Berg.The biggest regret of my life was doing the LASIK with Dr. Berg. According to the office I was a good candidate for the surgery. Before the surgery I did not have eye pain or migraines. Since the LASIK surgery early in 2009, my life has been miserable because of eye pain, pressure and headaches. They all started couple of days after the surgery. I can not watch TV, work on the computer for more than half an hour. My eyes will begin burning. Walking in a sunny day is a no no. I can not enjoy that anymore. Light, noise gives me headache. Even light at night from car gives me eye pain. My life changed for the worst since then. There has been no solution for this problem yet. One optometrist told me that the LASIK created these issues. Right after the surgery I went to Dr. Berg explaining my symptoms, but I felt that he was not helpful at all and he was not welcoming as he was before the surgery. I felt he basically bushed off that my new eyes problems had anything to do with the surgery. Some told me to sue, but I refrained from doing so. I hope he enjoyed the thousands of dollars.I wish I had known about reading reviews at that time. Please be careful with two things in your life: your eyes and your neck. Dont let just anyone touches them and plays with them. It can ruin ones life as it did for me.
