My mother has been victim of Elder Abuse that occurred at Sunridge Village (Sunridge) in Bullhead City.  Not only was cash stolen from her while residing at Sunridge, after she was admitted long term to a local Skilled Nursing facility, most of her jewelry was stolen from her unoccupied room.This has been reported to Grace, Arizona Long Term Care Ombudsman, and Officer Francisco Alamo, Bullhead City Policy Department. If you have knowledge of or your family member has been subjected to the same type of Elder Abuse, and that is what it is, I recommend you contact Officer Alamo, Arizona Dept of Health Services, and Mohave Couny Health Dept.Cash theft was reported to Vannessa Bell (Vanessa)and jewelry theft to Donna Hendrickson (Donna). Sunridge response has been one of indifference trying to blame an external party and telling me I should get a stronger lockbox for cash in her room.  And because the theft of her jewelry occurred while her unit was unoccupied during the pandemic, Donna shrugged it off with the excuse that they dont know when it may have occurred. I told Donna that I wanted this reported to the police. Donna advised me that any loss had to be over $100 to be reported (which it was), that they needed a list with receipts and descriptions and that they would check their theft and loss policy.  I was able to immediately provide a receipt and picture of one of the items which was $182 with tax.  Still, with this information, no action was taken by Sunridge to report this. So I reported it to Bullhead City Police myself.  The amount of loss identified to this point is over $500.Also, after talking to staff at Sunridge, I was advised that other residents had had belongings go missing.  Whether this was reported or not is unknown but it appears based on other reviews my mothers thefts are not isolated incidents.While I commend the State of Arizona for having a program that ensures the elderly and disabled unable to care for themselves are housed and taken care of, there are significant deficiencies at Sunridge.From the time my mother became a resident, the revolving door for administrators and staff meant policies and procedures were not followed consistently, medications not being properly monitored, infrastructure not being properly maintained and the safety of residents compromised.Family and residents should be assured that the program that Arizona has created is operating efficiently, that residents are safe in these environments and facilities should be held to the highest standard of care.  Instead, Sunridge has proven to me over and over again that they do not provide a safe atmosphere or operate at the highest standard of care. If you or a your family member are considering Sunridge, look elsewhere.

I had no idea what I was doing when I started my search for assisted living, I contacted Andrea, she is the move in coordinator at Sunridge Village. She was a TREMENDOUS HELP. she answered all my questions, gave me so much information. literally wrote down step by step of everything I needed to know. she has so many resources to share with people, she made our experience so comfortable and simple. and the other staff members we meet are so friendly, you feel so welcome there.

My uncle moved into Sunridge Village, he loves it. the caregivers are so good to him. he loves to talk to people and now since moving there he is surrounded by other kind hearted people. I love how the staff members joke and make my uncle comfortable. he loves it there.

Do not hesitate to let your family member go to Sunridge Village. This place was way better than my expectations. The staff is super friendly, caring and helpful in every way. When I called the staff never hesitated to let me speak with my mom and always answered all my questions. Better than 5 stars for Mohave County Arizona.

Sunridge Village has really improved over the last couple years. I have read the comments and think it is so petty of employees that worked there and got terminated for lack of not doing there job, so they post rude comments. KEEP ROCKING IT SUNRIDGE VILLAGE

This is a terrible place to put your family members! They do not have a proper nutrition they are not allowed seconds, little basic fruits and veggies, unsanitary, no events for people to see or do, Staff steal from them, etc.. They pay$1500 to $2500 this should never happen. Theres a woman that has no shoes why is this?!! Im disgusted ohh and I just found out they have REGISTERED SEX OFFENDERS( this should be illegal thats easy access to re offend on vulnerable people.)

This place is not safe for anyone! People shouldn’t even work there let alone send their loved ones to live!!! The management team is very inexperienced and uncaring. Always understaffed. The whole place needs to be cleaned and probably fumigated a few times over.The floor staff however is great to the residents (even when they are over worked and Under appreciated)

FIX YOUR PHONE SO PEOPLE CAN CHECK ON THEIR LOVED ONES!!! And from other reviews I have read It seems that you need to be investigated

This is fair warning to anyone who is looking for assisted living for their loved ones. On October 10th 2018 This facility had their employees take a resident and drop him off in a parking lot at the local Home Depot saying his residency had expired. I hope they are investigated and fired for this inhumane treatment of an elderly man. To be treated worse than an animal is despicable. I hope the local news gets wind of this and calls them out for who they really are. The local police and a home depot associate got him into a hotel for the weekend until his daughter could be reached. I would close this place down if I could. So when they say compassionate care given believe me when I say that is hogwash. Shame on you! Not even worth one star.

The staff are wonderful, Gena and Cyndi were most caring and helpful to my friend Odie when I was not available. I miss my other friends there Shirley, Anna, Marie and Kenny very much as I have not been back since my friend Odie passed away April 11; 2015 but I know my friends are getting the best of care from people who truly care about them. I still recommend them to everyone!

Wonderful place. Cynthia Renova was super nice to my grandparents who stayed here. She provided excellent care and showed compassion like no one ever has for them who took care of them. Shes an incredible worker and made me feel my family were safe and in wonderful hands.

Management staff here is known to lie to and about residents ,medications are withheld or not properly given . Although they have a great room cleaning and activities and a few other staff members for the most part it is poorly managed residents are threatened with confiscation of thier equipment if they dispute any charges or with eviction if they complain about thier medication . The diet leaves most malnurished any diabetics in real danger . This place needs to be investigated by the state

Its terrible here. They were giving me meds that I had quit taking cause they hurt my liver! Took control of my meds but I get scripts from the Dr. but use there pharmacy and I dont get them!! The food is processed and salty!! They do not accommodate diets!!When I asked why was told they are not a nursing facility!! There are a lot of diabetics here they just shoot them up with incillin!! Some staff treat us like we are mindless idiots!! Not signing cause I have to live here!!
