Goodwill itself was good with a friendly cashier but the womens bathroom was disgusting .
Great goodwill, found a nice readers lamp for $2.50, 2 giant squishmallows for $3.99 each, and a gold case that I hung on my wall.Also saw a mens Yves Saint Laurent shirt for $2 but didnt buy it.

If I could give it a NEGATIVE star I would! My friends and I GW shop most Saturdays, but last Saturday, we encountered what we never should. Someone had went #2 on the floor OUTSIDE of the bathroom. In the store where someone had stepped in it and I almost made another mess by throwing up. I will not ever be able to go into this store again. And from what we heard, this kind of thing happens there. They werent surprised. YUCK
Excellent! I found a vintage Polaroid Camera for under $7, in very good condition! The employees were very courteous, particularly a Cashier by the name of Meena, she was very helpful and showed appreciation for my patronage.
It was good but their prices need to come down a bit. Price wise, Value Village is lots better.
I would hardly call this a thriftstore, they ask ridiculous prices and mostly empty on their inventory.The pic was taken after 2 weeks...same empty shelves. They bring out mouse big carts and thats all they stock and if you find something nice....they ask way to much.Not going back here again waste of gas
I found a couple shirts that I wanted to buy. I walked towards the register where a couple people were in line. Then the cashier had trouble with the register. Due to a medical issue, I cant stand up very long. I found a bench near the shoe dept and sat down to wait for the line to die down. This never happened. I was in a lot of pain, so I just left the shirts I really wanted and left. It wasnt the fault of the store, and I will be back, but just wanted to let you know my unhappy experience i had today.
Would give it no stars if possible. Please spend your money at the Hamilton Mill Location, St Vincents or Value Village. There is only one nice employee at this location. This one is very convenient to us and usually stop in multiple times a week but no more. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Not going into details but they will not get any more of my $. Look at the reviews. Ive always been told for every bad review there are at least 10 more bad experiences that dont get reviewed. I will not be one of those after the experiences, not just one, that I have had at this location.
Older location, with lower quality inventory than other locations nearby. Still a place to find some good hidden pieces if you look hard enough!
Found a beautiful blue floral cloison urn, opened it, inside a cremated body with orange tag about Hospital, deceased... I have no word to describe the shopping experience. I notified a store employee who removed it so another person wont have the same experience. It Takes 30 seconds at the most the check inside, how did you fail that part before putting a price on it for sale
I would normally give this one all 5 stars but for a couple things. I come there for movies mostly. Turn them on their sides like all the other Goodwill stores do so you can skim over and read the titles faster, making your shopping experience faster. The other is whenever I find an empty blu-ray case they never let you have it or buy it when I ask if I can. Piedmont Goodwill store always lets me have the cases. I need those whenever I receive broken cases in the mail. It saves me time and money. When I ask, they act like its a crime. They just go in the trash!

Super, SUPER rude staff on 2 consecutive visits.My wife bought 2 nesting containers that go together and had 1 barcode attached. The cashier asked if they were 2 separate items and my wife explained the situation. My wife checked the receipt in the car and she was double-charged. She went back in with the item and receipt, and the girl said I didn’t double-charge you, you had ANOTHER $3.99 item that I scanned. My wife explained and showed that that was elsewhere on the receipt and the double charge was 2 identical SKUs. The cashier asked her to go back to the van and bring in all of the items she bought. As ridiculous as that is, my wife complied and when she came back in the cashier had someone else help my wife and said simply “I double-charged her”. 😑The other occasion, several days earlier, was even more ridiculous.
Was Trying to donate a bag of clothes, was greeted by a Guy who was was to Busy and Rude to answer a question.

I walked in and the woman told me they were asking everyone to wear a mask and did I have one. I said no and waited to see what she would say. She asked if I had one in my car. I said no and walked out.They WILL go out of business--between this and not having the dressing rooms open. 75-80% of the store is clothing but you cant try anything on. Come on.When I walked out, I noticed a Goodwill worker taking donations from someone at the drive-up donations spot. Donor was out of his car, not wearing a mask and was face-to-face with Goodwill employee.Either make it a rule, or dont.Ridiculous. Its been nice knowing you. I do not need to be hassled at a Goodwill store.AND, PS, it is NOT hard to stay 6 feet away from someone in that store.

Worst customer service ever! I went into the store on Memorial day to look for items for a wedding Im decorating, I found a beautiful big candle holder that was just perfect. It didnt have a price so I asked about it. The girl stated they would have to take it to the back and couldnt sell it to me until someone priced it and their was no one available to do that now. So I asked when and she said I would have to come back tomorrow, I asked to speak to the manager and she was it. I asked if I could put my name on it and she said they cant do that. I came back this morning with the picture I had taken and the same girl.... barely even went in the back to look for it, she came back and said its not back there, I dont know where it is, someone must have bought it we open at 9am!!!! Super annoyed, I understand policy, but she could have at least made an effort to care that I really wanted it. I know Im shopping at Goodwill but Im still a paying customer and deserve a little better treatment! I go to Hamilton mill all the time and they are WAY more helpful and accommodating, so I will just continue to shop there! Thanks for nothing!
Goodwill is pricey as far as thrift stores go BUT Mondays they have a 99 cent color. And weekly they have a 50% off color. So there are deals to be found. In my opinion a used shirt full price at $5.99 is just too much.
Wish they wouldnt put the price stickers/marker on front of the items!!!!!!!! Needs to be put in discreet places. Also, whatever the color is that week it seems they remove many of those items off the floor. Very hard to find color of the week items. Makes it kind of pointless. The fitting rooms also need the mirrors cleaned. Also wish theyd put some effort into organizing the book section like some of the other locations. This is one of my favorite ones to go to so Im hoping for the best. The selection is good though.
They are making you wear a mask or they wont let you in. Communist at its best. They can make every customer wear a mask, but they cant control a few children that are crazy and ruin your shopping experience.
I work at Buford Goodwill & I love it there. They have a great atmosphere, everyone is very friendly. This is a place thats so welcoming you feel right at home. I have fun helping the customers out & getting to know them as well as my co-workers. Thank you Goodwill for having me as a part of your team
I brought them a lot of stuff worth several hundred dollars. They wanted me to unload and reload everything so that they could pick through what they wanted. I told them that theyre not getting any of it now and its all going to the dump. The moral of the story is this, youre better off taking your stuff to the landfill then you are bringing it to this dump.
Great place for bargains. This is one of the best, if not the best, Goodwill in the area. The shelves are full and e employees are very friendly. You are definitely going to find that gem for cheap if you go. I always do.

It was as expected. Lots of stuffs, but a good visit. But, they really should button the mens button down shirts. They were falling off the hangers because they were not buttoned. And mens t-shirts were $5.99 and not $2.99 like the other Goodwill.
There were a surprising number of formal dresses and lots of books and dishes. Theres even two pianos. Its a really well stocked location and employees were helpful when I had questions.
Goodwill sucks all theyre doing is creating three low wage jobs and keeping employees working poor. They were much better Charities to give to like the Abba House or No Longer Bound. Give those to Charities a call before you decide to donate anything they will come and pick things up.
Got some good deals on books, but overall not a fan of Goodwill any longer. They are too pricey and there is no negotiation like many other thrift stores. Dont go often.

Over price! Put people to work For minimum wage!! CEO and big wigs live like kings off free merchandise. I can buy new pants from Walmart for what they charge!! Rarely find a great deal. Donate to womens and childrens shelter, they actually give the donations to the women and children.
I cant believe how organized this place is. Kudos to the staff! Shelves are stocked with goodies. Nothing is just thrown about. Easy to see everything and hopefully find a goodie. Worth taking 30m to walk around and look at everything.
Absolutely one of the worst Goodwill locations Ive ever been. The clothes were in no order at all (not even by color). And the plus size section was nothing more than just a continuation of normal sized items. Dressing rooms were clean but no benches and missing hooks everywhere. Employees looked miserable. I wont go back.
I use to love shopping at Goodwill in Buford, however the last few visits were not what it used to be. The store itself looked rundown and the employees needed some kind of dresscode. The clothing on the racks looked really old and the merchandise on the shelves needed restocking. I dont know what happened to the Buford location, but I have not been back in over a year. I will have to revisit soon and see if things have improved.
Clothing prices are way too high as all the Goodwill locations in metro Atlanta. Some furniture items are priced well. Good selection of household wares. Friendly staff.

The staff at this Goodwill is top notch, very friendly, but the sorting leaves something to be desired. I have seen several items with fluids or rips, but then again ^why^ do people donate such?

There is something in the air at this Goodwill (I think its the scent of generosity and a bargain). Not only are the employees extremely kind and friendly but many of the customers are too. I like that the clothing is very organized (color, shirt style, and print!). The store also has a good mix of vintage and contemporary items. Now the restroom is undesirable because it looks old and grimy. Even though the restroom is need of a renovation, I am EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience. I will definitely be returning.

Had a lot of nice things, but was grungy. Several of the comforters and sheets smelled of cigarettes and mold.
They used to have a good variety of electronics but something changed and now it is minimal
Ive made dozens of donations here and the last two experiences have been very disappointing. This time, I said hi to the millennial with the lisp accepting donations and he replied with a sassy attitude first of all, you drove in the drive-up the wrong way. Okay I said, I have some donations to provide and I didnt see any directional signs. Oh, theyre out there he said. I told him when I looked it was unclear as the arrow points towards the door and has no specific instructions for cars. I recommended that an arrow be painted on the asphalt to avoid confusion. He just shrugged It off the same way each generous patron donating items seemingly was a waste of his time. Its okay to have a bad day, but dont take it out on people and their kind-heartedness.From now on Ill be my donations where they are appreciated, across the street at Value Village.

Ive always gotten good customer service from the staff, and the store is usually clean. The drop off for donations is well set up and gets you in and out when youre in a hurry.
The clothes were very nice and they had a good selection of leagal pads when I visited here. I also found 2 journals that were in good condition. Love it here!
Never had a problem here before but I had a super rude employee snap at me today for a question I asked... Manager was very nice and apologetic and took my complaint down. Hopefully it can be used to help them improve their customer service.

Ive visited three Goodwills around the area, and this one, in our opinion, has a better book selection for childrens chapter books.
Sorting the clothes by color is incredibly wasteful of time. If they were sorted by size it would be much easier to find something to buy.
The garments hanging should be less. Huge pile so very difficult to see the clothes.. Best is the library section.

There tag days are a scam. Lets just say its green tag day it makes the employees pick up all green tags off the floor. Whatever color tag it is you will not see them on the floor theyre in the back on racks.. they get donations to put people to work just to teach them to be dishonest.. you dont believe me just see for yourself every one of them does it all Goodwills

This Goodwill was a Trainwreck when we last visited. Clothing and wares were on the floor. Parents completely ignored the canned message please keep your children with you at all times. Roving bands of children screamed up and down the aisles wielding Nerf weapons scavenged from the toy aisle. The clerk hanging clothes in the childrens aisle glared at folks hoping to shop there but didnt so much as say hello. There was absolutely nobody working the check-outs. Much waving and hunting was required to get someone to ring us up.That said, Goodwill has great prices and a really good selection of used items from clothing to books to toys to electronics.

There was no price tag on a small sharp knife (not a brand name) and the cashier randomly gave me a price of $1. I said no thanks as I could get a brand new one from tbe Dollar Store.

I was able to get some pretty curtains. pkg was misleading saying there were pairs and i thought 2 pairs and perhaps able to do my living room. then i wasnt allowed to open it unless i was going to buy it, which other goodwill stores let you open it in front of an employee. there was 1 pair. the employee said she had more, i go back again and she wasnt allowed to sell it to me because she was in another dept and i asked the mgr if he could do it and he said no. so, i travel 40 miles 4 times. now i know she is working today and i hope i can get the panels i need. so stupid, they have it in the back for sure i am told, and refuse to price it for me. like its a crime if the mgr prices it. this is how businesses lose customers, lack of going the extra mile for a customer. Dont ppl think that word of mouth can make or break a business?
Prices are to high for use stuff. Need to be arrange by size and color like Tennessee. I can drive to Tennessee get a whole truck load for $50.00.

The people at this goodwill are horrible. They work like they are stuck in molasses and have a HUGE attitude about it. If they hate working here so much they should go find another job. Other Goodwills Ive had completely different experience. This place probably has poor management because there is no way that I would let a store worker act or work as poorly as the people do here.

This is one of the dirtiest Goodwills Ive ever visited ( over 20 in IL, WI, and GA). The store even has a smell. This alone wouldnt have earned it the 1 star. They can thank the nut job at the donations section for that. Heres how it went down:I roll the cart filled with my donations to the sliding doors to hand off to him. I turn to walk away and he says is it ok out there?”Confused I ask, do you mean is that all? If so, yes”No, is it ok out thereSo I say, where ever you put stuff is ok. Im just giving you the stuff. I dont know what you meanHe goes, no, I mean you cant come inside.Yeah...I just walked away before he decides to hack me into pieces and cook my brains on a hot plate.
