I am very impressed with Milan Eye Center & Dr. Needham. My first cataract surgery was easy and i felt very confident & comfortable with all the staff there. Dr. Needham even called later that day to check on me. I am very pleased with the lens I got & look forward to having my other eye done shortly. I would highly recommend this eye center.

I have been completely happy with my experience at Milan. Cataract surgery was easy and successful and follow up was pleasant despite Covid-19. I have to say I received the ultimate professional care. Dr. Needham is a genius. I am totally amazed at the results of my cataract surgery. It truly is a miracle. I see 110% better than I have my entire life. With these new lens implants I dont even need reading glasses and Im still in post-op. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist wearing a mask, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. I didnt wait long before Frankie, who was the Technician who did all the tests on my eyes, called me back. She is also very kind and friendly and knows her stuff! I had to wait about 30 minutes after the tests for Dr. Needham to be ready for me, but they were busy so I didnt mind. I will be going back again for future visits, and even though it is an hour away from home, it is worth it to me to know the care of my eyes is in these very skilled, capable hands. I highly recommend Milan Eye Center in Buford.

My left eye was heavily infected with high level of inflammation when I was taken care by Dr. Aimee Mesenburg last Tuesday 3/9/2021. It was so painful that I couldn’t open my eye and look at any light at all. Thanks to her dedicated team and her own efforts including but not limiting to cleaned up, thoroughly examined and prescribed the right types of eyes specifically formulated drops, I was able to slowly recover.Although I’m not fully back in good vision 100%, I felt confident that this level of service would definitely exceed anyone looking for some eye doctor treatment in our Gwinette area that would merit their high level of personal customer experience and service.

Everyone, from technicians to Dr. Needham, was kind and thorough. I highly recommend this practice. I was rather disappointed that I was charged $45.00 for my prescriptions. I assumed they would be included in the cost for the surgery.

I just had cataract surgery ar the Milan Eye Center in Buford. From my first pre-operation visit, the staff was extremely helpful in explaining every step of the process. Their videos and written materials are so detailed that I went through the surgery with little question or reservation. Few hours after my surgery, I was able to freely move about without glasses for the first time in over 40 years. One thing I really appreciate about the Milan Eye Center is that they have been very respectful of my time: no long wait after checking in for a visit. From the reception staff to Jessica (surg. Coordinator),Tina (my pre-OP nurse), Mike (anesthetist), Dr. Needham (the surgeon), and Dr. Mesenberg (my post-op doctor), everyone at the Center exude competence, professionalism, and a sense of caring. You can bet that I will have my second surgery at this Center without any reservations.

The staff are all super friendly and helpful as well as very patient, they make you feel like you are an old friend coming over to catch up haha

Very impressive optical services. I just was not pleased how long it took the receptionist to log me in for care. The Doctor was great, the eye tech was great. They did a through exam of my eyes for glaucoma.

My husband received an eye exam today. Upon completion of the exam, he needed a copy of his prescription and was charged $45 to get it. I think that it is absurd that you would charge for this when it should be part of the exam. At no time was this explained to us before the exam. I think that, that is a horrible way of conducting business and is unacceptable, we will no longer use you because of this policy.

It was a great experience, and I look forward to the surgery on my other eye! The difference is amazing! My doctor and all the staff were all very professional and friendly which further enhanced my already positive experience.

My mother had two previous appointments for her routine eye exams. One in September and one in October. Both were cancelled because the office was under renovations. She relies on public transportation to get to and from her appointments. So it is very hard for her to get to these appointments. Today she had another appointment and arrived to this office only to find it closed. She was lucky enough to flag down the Lyft driver and be taken home immediately.As a health care provider myself this is completely unacceptable. If your office is closed calls should be made to allow the patient ample notice to reschedule. If your office continues to be closed and you are unable to provide routine care the patient should be given the option of going to another location or seeking another provider. My mother could have been stuck outside of this office for several hours. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR by a health care provider!!!

Everything went well during my eye exam and i was treated with respect and they answered all my questions, i did have to wait over an hour for the doctor to finish my examination witch made me late for work but one of the workers helped me text my boss since my eyes were dialated and everything ended up okay, would recommend if you have plenty of time

Firstly, I truly appreciate the fact that they took me in as a walk-in patient for the first visit. I was experiencing a corneal ulcer and they saw me immediately that day. The front staff were very kind and the doctor very knowledgeable and kind as well. I’ve never went to an ophthalmologist before But for a first experience, I couldn’t have asked for better service.

I called at the last minute, and I was worked into Dr. Bakers schedule. I was so appreciative! Since my appointment was last minute, I had to bring my 2 month-old and 2 year-old. The staff and Dr. Baker were all so nice and accommodating. The lady at the front desk gave my 2 year-old a lollipop which was so nice of her...he threw a fit when we got there, so the lollipop calmed him down. Dr. Baker was wonderful! She is very sweet and easy to talk to.

I had an excellent cataract surgery yesterday from Dr Milan Patel, starting from the pre-op staff till after the surgery everyone was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable! Today, On the day of surgery my distance vision is 20/15 and near vision is also good. I’m told it’ll get better over the next few weeks when I won’t need to wear glasses at all!Thanks Dr Patel!

I had a great experience with Milan Eye Center. I needed an appointment quickly and they got me in same day. They were on time with the appointment, thorough with their questions and assessment and I still got out under 45 minutes. I am so happy to have found a great eye doctor! Definitely would recommend!

My eye was irritated so I phoned this office and they accepted me as an emergency patient and squeezed me in the same day. Upon arrival, parking was available and the front office was exceptional. Made me feel welcomed and explained the signing of the paperwork. Helen the technician was fabulous, she explained every part of the examination and what the process would be. Dr. Aimee Mesenburg was Phenomenal with a capital P. She was so personable and examined me, advised me what to expect and what steps I needed to recover effectively. She will not be my optometrist. Great experience!

I found the staff to be very professional and friendly. I also liked the detail each professional went to when doing their evaluation. On the day of surgery everything went very smooth. The procedure itself went very quickly. In two weeks I will be having my other eye done and I expect to have the same results.

Professional and courteous staff from the moment that I walked in the door. Had Cataract surgery and Dr. DeSai explained the procedure from beginning to end. Received a follow up call from Flora the night of the surgery to see if I was okay. Next day I saw Dr. Messenburg and assistant who did a thorough exam.

The issues I had anticipated before my surgery were unfounded. The team is professional and run the procedures in a coordinated way. Once you get into the operating room, the surgery is over before you know it and have no recollection of what went on. I have to go back in 2 weeks for my other eye and can’t wait to have done. Don’t worry about the surgery, these people know what their doing.

I went for my cataract surgery full of apprehension- I was a bundle of nerves! Everyone was kind, patient and reassuring. I wish I had done it sooner- I had not realized how bad my eyes had gotten! Dr. Cassandra has taken great care of me. (Medical urgency). Her staff (forgive me while I forget your names), door to door, were on point.I had an infected eyeball. A sleepless night of eye drops every hour sucked, but Im mending quickly.Learn the difference between optometrist and ophthalmologists. The latter educated me rather harshly but reasonably. The former was pretty much out for my insurance money.

I had my left eye surgery yesterday, it went very well. From beginning to end everyone there was really nice & the Surgery itself was easy & Dr Desai was fabulous. The next day I woke up to being amazed at how much better I could see . I am thrilled with the results- I can’t wait to get the right eye taken care of also . Very good experience. Had my surgery 4 days ago and it went well. I haven’t had any issues other than some bruising that was expected. I will See how things look in about a month. But so far, so good. Pre op and post op instructions were clear and concise.
