I called to make an appointment for my son who was recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD. I left a message and the doctor called me right back. She advised me that she wasnt taking any new patients and mentioned something about ABA therapy. I told her that I didnt know what that was and her response was, Wow! She explained that she was not saying, Wow at me but she was saying it because the other therapist hadnt explained ABA to me when she recommended that my son needed therapy in a group setting.I didnt react to what she said but I hope she reads this. At the time of his diagnosis, so many terms were being thrown at me and nothing makes sense. As a parent of a child who has been diagnosed with autism, this journey has been tough and continues to be tough but I dont appreciate people who try to belittle my intelligence in a field where they may have more information than I do. I already spend my days second guessing what I should or shouldnt be doing with my son, I dont need someone who doesnt know me or my journey to do it as well.By the way, the autism center that you referred me to for ABA therapy wouldnt take my son because hes over the age of twelve. You didnt bother to ask me how old my son is. Its kinda like me not knowing what ABA therapy is but you better trust and believe Im going to find out!

Dr. Kasler is very knowledgeable, caring, and responsive. Her expertise is top notch, and she really takes her time to get to know her patients, parents, and is very thorough in her testing methods. She was able to evaluate and give us results for Autism spectrum diagnosis within a 2-month window. I feel like we finally have some answers and a path to find the help my child needs. I highly recommend Dr. Kasler.

As a fellow psychologist, I have a high respect for Dr. Kasler. I have inherited many of her previous clients who share positive things of working with her. She has a passion for helping those on the autism spectrum.

Have not had any appointments with her but just going over insurance and rates she was very rude. She thinks she knows more about my insurance coverage than I do that I’ve had for more than a decade. She is an in-network provider for BCBS but required full payment for services?? What’s the point of having insurance if a provider won’t follow proper billing process for in-network and patient would need to pay out of pocket? I made BCBS aware

We only went one time. Thats because the first day the doctor ask me why we were there in front of my child. To say that was traumatizing to him is an understatement. As I sat there trying to explain why we were there without making him feel like a horrible bad person, I was thinking to myself this is wrong this is wrong I shouldnt be saying this in front of him. With tears streaming down his face I looked at her and said he should not be in the room when were discussing this! At that point it was too late the damage has been done. Now the problem I had then seems insignificant to the problem I have now. Normally I would never leave the review like this but I cant let this go without saying something. Not with a good conscience. The doctor herself was nice but that has nothing to do with it.

She has been instrumental in helping my son get the neccessary recommendations for his educational requirements. Without her diagnosis and understanding of Gwinnet Country Schools my son would just be falling throught the cracks of the school system.
