I’m not sure when the patients were going to be made aware but on Friday(05/29/2020), I was made aware that Dr.Simmons will be retiring mid August of this year(2020). This is actual information as it has been provided to the employees of the office(I seen it for myself through the email). He’s a great doctor, however, General Physician is withholding this information from the current patients and STILL taking on new patients. That is not right at all! I think General Physician really needs to make their patients aware as this information has been known since early May.

I truly sad Dr Siommons retired in August 2020 but after 31yrs it was him time I thank GOD for this great doctor that did my back and neck surgery he a great caring person I pray that GOD our Father bless him and his family in JESUS Name enjoy your family 😇😇😇thank u for 5 great year of awesome service

Very good surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Simmons. Love his staff also. Dr. Simmons and his physician assistance are amazing ! They are very informative and take the time to explain all your options before deciding on surgery!

I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Simmons and his staff. They have been excellent at the times Ive been there. He worked wonders on my back before I seen him I could barely walk and now I can enjoy my family again. Thank you for your hard work and being 1000% honest and up front with me and my family.

I have seen Dr. Simmons for three years now. I have had 2 back surgeries and going on a third. If it wasnt for Dr. Simmons and all his professional I wouldnt be very mobile today. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his team for back issues. They are all courteous, understanding, percise and above all know what they are doing... Because of him I walk today!!

I am a 34 year old patient of Dr. Simmons and he is truly amazing. I have had a herniated disc for a few years and with physical therapy and keeping it under control I was doing ok. But suddenly things went wrong, they got me in that same day and he performed immediate surgery that evening after hours with one of his PAs. I know this was circumstantial with the ER and scheduling and wont happen for most but I am very grateful to his entire staff for their kindness and their help in getting me through this!

Dr. Simmons was great, as was the staff at 1170 Main St. in Buffalo. From his careful exam in late May of this year (2017), to the fitting and frame selection, to the later (slight) adjustment to the fit of my glasses, the process was a joy. Thanks, all. More people need to find you and the quality that your practice represents.

Dr. Simmons and his PA Andrew gave me my life back. I was in so much pain when I first went to see him. No other doctor I went to could tell me what was wrong. Dr. Simmons knew right away after looking at my xrayx-. Ive had a thoracic fusion and a cervical fusion and I can now move with very minimal pain. The other staff there are the best! Always friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr. Simmons and the rest of his staff!

Receptionist doesnt like it if you bother her while she is watching videos. Twice I was called on the day of my appointment to reschedule. One of those calls came less than 2 hours before my appointment. Also likes to make you wait in the waiting room or examination room. Plan on an hour combined between the 2 rooms. Dr Simmons himself was great, his office staff not so much.

I am presently a patient here. Laura rocks. Dr. Simmons is very pleasant. PA s are great as well.

For several years now my back/cervical condition has gone down hill...2 neurosurgeons refused to work on my condition... I finally went to see Dr Simmons a couple of years ago... I had surgery on June 21 2018...Dr Simmons and P.A. Andrew Dybalski have done a FANTASTIC job...by removing discs and fusing vertebraes with titanium rods and screws and by pulling the sciatic nerve off of muscles I am now 80% pain free...His ENTIRE staff (P.A.s, nurses, medical staff in general) has been compassionate, caring and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...you have been blessed with hands of GOD... thank you Dr Simmons for performing a minor miracle...one more thing...this is my first surgery EVER... I am 65 years old... I accepted surgery in the belief that it was going to improve my life...he has improved my health!!!

If you need surgery I would definitely go see another doctor stay away from this office his staff is bad and he does a bad job I will have a problem with my leg for the rest of my life because of him ...

I have saw Dr Simmons for my neck back in 2009 to 2011, he fix my headaches. I had two surgeries before coming to see him, after two more surgeries with Dr Simmons he fixed me. Now Im back with lower back issues....

Not the best, needed revision surgery.
