I interviewed with this company on 3/9/20. The interview was done in a common style for the most part, but on a few occasions the interviewer asked me to repeat a number of things Id just told him which was kind of amusing, just not very professional. I politely restated, however, having interviewed hundreds of people throughout my own career, its not something I would ever do unless I was trying to purposely trip a person up (which I would never do).Toward the end I was asked for three work-related weaknesses. I gave an honest answer: I gave one weakness of over-working and having it affect work-life balance, its the one thing I have always had trouble with, but I simply had no others. Ive had a lot of success in my career: I get along well with others, I show up on time, I dont take days off, Im reliable, I meet and exceed goals, I earn bonuses, and I earn promotions. Thats been the situation everywhere Ive gone which has allowed me to come back to places Ive worked before, and the only reason I was at SHC for an interview is due to layoffs at previous jobs which no employee can control. I dont feel comfortable making up something just to answer, thats not honest, and I gave my honest answer.Once the interview was over, the interviewer shook my hand and then asked me if youre given an offer, when would you be able to start? After I told him I could start immediately, he asked me if I would interview with another person as well, and I said absolutely. The interviewer went to find this other person but he/she was not in that day, so the interviewer came back and informed me of this, no problem. The interviewer shook my hand again, then gave me his direct company business card. I think we can all agree that these are not common actions to perform if an interview has not gone well from an interviewers perspective...The next day, the agency I was with called me to let me know that I was not selected for the job. I was told it was because I didnt give the interviewer any work-related weaknesses (thats actually not accurate, I did give the only honest one I had) and that I seemed annoyed during the interview (although I never moved, sighed, frowned, or answered angrily, and certainly never raised my voice or anything of that nature), and since no example of my being annoyed was given Im not sure how to address that except to say that I wasnt annoyed by anything, if I were I wouldve excused myself and left.To sum up:1. If youre interviewing someone and think it hasnt gone well, it would be best to end the interview at the conclusion of your checklist, if not sooner. Seeking out other personnel for a second interview is not appropriate if there is no interest after the first and can even be construed as dishonest if there is no interest. Further, it wastes the time of the initial interviewer, it wastes the time of the second interviewer, and it wastes the time of the interviewee. In this situation, no one benefits.2. Asking interviewees to repeat a list of what theyve said comes across as a bit confrontational and appears as an attempt to trip the interviewee up. Interviewees are already a bit nervous as it is so that will affect short-term recall. The role of an interviewer is to put the person theyre interviewing at ease as that will bring out the best answers.3. If there is no interest afterward, its inappropriate for an interviewer to give an interviewee their direct business card.4. Unless an interviewee has said something off-color or disrespectful, its not at all professional to communicate to the interviewees agency that the person seemed >insert negative< without an actual example of what was said/done to give that impression. All that does is negatively affect the interviewees relationship with the agency from a perception standpoint, and thats not at all fair to a person youve already decided not to hire. Its just adding insult to injury. Its a mutual feeling that this wouldnt have been a good fit. Fortunately, I was hired the next day someplace else.

I was a travel nurse for this company. I really didn’t want to travel again. Atlas was by far the best company on the planet to work with but they didn’t have a contract at the facility I needed to be at. Even after they tried to take it. I had a recruiter who was brand new. Had little experience. And was very unprofessional. I had to be tested for covid 19 wa sick for two weeks. Night sweats. Fever. And I got tested. I was negative. But it took be forever to get results back and they urged me to be tested again.... after I told them the lab all over the state was backed up. During my two weeks of quarantine they refused to pay me. I had to beg for them to do so. And after balling on the phone to them. They finally did. But did it with attitude. When I got my results back. I decided I didn’t want to return working for them because I had such a poor experience and they said “K” to my emails and texts. The facility had no issue with me. This company is not run correctly and is very unprofessional. I’m elated to put my resignation notice in. I felt pressured. And mistreated my entire time here. This is why they are 3/5 stars. When I said I was quitting they told me they were black listing me. As punishment because I was sick and did not want to return to work despite nene covid 19 negative. My health issues from working at a covid hospital persisted.I would rather work at McDonald’s. Or any other job than ever work for them again. If you are an experienced hard working nurse this company is not for you.Atlas Med staff all the way 5/5 stars and your recruiter will never say “text me on my work phone” and respond to you with “k”. Unprofessional. Rude. Never again.

Cant complain. Offer lots of bonuses for getting your paperwork in. Got a contract at University of Rochester and never had a problem getting a job after having that on my resume. My staffing manager is nice too!

This company says they empathize and understand when their employees have to relocate to take care of a grandparent physically and financially, but they contradict themselves by terminating your employment right after they say that. I could never terminate ANY employee in a situation like this. Now I cannot provide for my grandparent financially. Lesson learned... talk is cheap, especially when your actions exhibit the contrary.

If I could give no stars I would. Lowest paying and no bonuses. Also, NO perks. Not even a card at Christmas and twice they messed up my address on insurance and HSA. They can’t get it together! Go to Medical Solutions!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Supplemental refused to reimburse me for my physical exam and multiple certifications I acquired while employed with them. On my very last contract with this company, two weeks prior to it ending my mother suffered a stroke and was hospitalized at the hospital I was contracted to work. She was in the ICU and I felt as though I could finish the contract because I was working there.... WRONG. Every page that went over the over head to ICU broke me down. Not knowing if it was my mother who these stat calls were for. I notified my recruiter and was told I didnt have to complete the last two days I had left. Supplemental was trying to not pay me my very last day of work and refused my certification reimbursement. Horrible. What a great way to show ur empathy for a nurse that worked and got GREAT reviews for ur company. I will never return there or refer any of my colleges to supplemental. Period.

In my 20 years of working i have never worked for a better company. I have been here 4 years and i love it more as the years go on! This is my forever job and i wouldnt have it any other way. The people here are amazing and they work so hard. We are a huge family! We have sooooo much fun here too. Alot of contests, fun activities, themed days, fundraisers and food! My boss Linda who is also our SVP, took me under her wing and helped me to become the employee that i am today. I have never seen a company who believed in their employees so much. 38+ promotions last year alone! great hours, great compensation, great people and a great atmosphere!

After being assaulted by my ex and staying overnight in the hospital I was terminated for no call no show bc the new person I called failed to pass along the message that I had been hospitalized despite attempting to meet with them to show the paperwork they cut me from the workload leaving me unable to work. Luckily another area agency I had previously worked for took me back immediately !!! Shame on you supplemental if only you had paid me more so I could have lawyered up.
