Wood Dental Associates is a wonderful experience. There is no anxiety associated with the process. They very forthcoming with what to expect. The atmosphere is soothing and the staff are courteous and professional. I never thought I would look forward to going to the dentist, but Wood Dental Associates have truly changed my mind. Been going for a few years now. They do the best at making sure you are comfortable and relaxed. Very clean and responsive staff. If its been a while or you are scared or whatever the reason may be this place is amazing! Amanda is the best dental hygienist there! Dr Woods is great! Definitely recommend and always worth the drive from no matter where you live. Small parking lot but always a spot to park.

This was one of the best experiences I have had in a dental office! Dr. Wood is very compassionate and caring. He has a lot of expertise and was able to provide me with several options for my treatment. Hes great working with people who have dental anxiety, such as I do!! His staff was just as compassionate! I went in nervous about getting dental work because Ive had a lot of bad experiences where I still felt pain during drilling despite novacaine. Dr Wood put my mind at ease. I experienced no pain! In addition, the man is so experienced that he did two teeth really fast. Best dental experience Ive ever had, and Im 44. Added bonus: his waiting room is so relaxing! I mean, its like a spa! I just want to go there to hang out!

Dr wood and the entire staff are the best.my teeth have not been this well taken care of since i had braces many years ago. Dr Wood is excellent at repairing other dentists carelessness. Im sure i would have dentures by now if not for the excellent remedial work he has done. Not only are my teeth much stronger but with all the metal fillings replaced with much healthier materials i notice my sinus has improved,my cough is non-existent and i no longer bite my inner cheeks or tounge. I absolutely recommend Dr Wood and his staff.
I feel everyone genuinely cares about your experience here. It is very professional, clean and comfortable. You can tell even when someone is having an off day they try to keep their composure as to not stress out the clients. I wish I would have found them years ago. I hope Dr. Wood doesnt plan to retire anytime soon. There are very few passionate dentist with such a great crew as well, I dont want to lose them.

Thee absolute best dentist. Dr. Wood is the most kind, reassuring, genuine, truly cares for me as an individual. My Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and Anxiety and depression have improved by 80%, upon having 2 mercury amalgams removed, 1 more to go. I have not felt this good in most of my 59 years. The staff is amazing, helpful, considerate, professional. Holistic/Biological Dentistry the only way to go. Have recommended Dr. Wood to everyone who has witnessed my health improvement. I am really upset with this office. I was referred to this office from many people saying he was the BEST of the best in holistic dentistry in the area. I changed my insurance just to go to him..During Covid Ive had a issue arise- Ive contacted the office multiple times where it says to leave a voicemail and the inbox is full, not even being checked, doesnt matter if its 8am or 8pm.. It says in the event of an emergency please contact Dr. Kevin Wood at xxx.xxxx.... So I call twice. Leave a voicemail once... No response.. Finally I send a text with my reasoning and even offering to see if he could just possibly look via Electronic appointment.How do you just leave your patients hanging for months and ignore calls and texts? Not at least call and update?I LOVE the in office care I recieved from them, they truly are great. Im hoping this is a miscommunication or tech error of some wild sort as I just feel this is a fantastic office and these actions are really out of character for them.

It was slightly hard for me to find their office, and that was my only not perfect experience I had. I did forget to bring my glasses, and the receptionist helped me fill out what was needed. The waiting room is beyond amazing. Its theme is calm and stress free. If I stayed in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes I probably would have fell asleep 😁. Dr. Wood is open minded to patient opinions and will find the best solution for the patient.
This is an outstanding, innovative practice in a pleasant environment. You will find Dr. Wood to be a caring practitioner utilizing the latest technology but always with regard for the best outcome and comfort of the patient. While procedures and options are thoroughly explained, there is never a feeling of being rushed or compromised.

Just had my routine cleaning at Wood Dental and as always it was the very best of experiences. The office is clean, pleasant and utilizes the most innovative and up-to-date techniques. All of that and a caring staff that just cant be beat. I couldnt ask for or expect a better dental experience.

Everything from walking in the door to leaving went absolutely phenomenal. Dr Wood was extremely gentle, compassionate and understanding of my wants and needs. I would refer anyone to go here as everyone tries to make the visit as comfortable as possible! Parking can be a challenge but its a minor detail to the experience afterwards!
Went for a first visit which included a dental exam and cleaning. Experience was great right from the start. Amazing facility, kind and speedy service. Dental Hygienist was very gentle and informative.
My experience here was not good. I came here twice. First was for a cleaning and consultation. The hygienist was nice. But Dr. Wood was off-putting. He told me I had about 15 cavities (which was extremely surprising to me as I take care of my teeth and am only in my 20’s) and that I would have to come back in a series of four appointments for each quadrant of my mouth, and then quickly tried to say goodbye and leave the room. I had to ask him to stop and come back so I could ask questions, and he had one foot out the door the entire time I asked for details. Then I came back for my first appointment. No lasers, like their website states they have. The “pain-free” novacaine injection was him using an instrument to strike my gum very hard to “numb” it, which probably hurt more than the shot would have alone, and caused me to bleed profusely. He did the filling and again, rushed out. I was so upset by the whole experience that I canceled my next appointment and went to another dentist. My new dentist told me that my teeth are in great condition and said I only had one cavity (that they found on my x-rays that I already knew about) and not 15, like Dr. Wood told me. That is a HUGE difference. Not only that, the filling he did came out not even a few weeks later, and I suspect I didn’t need it in the first place. I’m not sure why everyone else seems to have a great experience here but I will never be back. The dentist has always been a nerve wracking experience for me and Dr. Wood made it worse.
I know a well run office when I find one. The staff here was extraordinarily friendly to help me with the dental problem as a new Buffalonian. Dr. Wood uses modern state of the art equipment which is extraordinarily impressive and created a new crown for me that visitI recommend them highly

Dr Wood and his Associates are professional and top notch. Im treated like family. Any question I have is explained in terms I understand. Any dental problem I have is taken care of with the best solution in mind. My last visit was having a tooth crowned. There arent many places in Western New York where you can have a crown in place with 1.5 hours. Why risk infection with temporary crowns, waiting for the permanent crown to be delivered from someplace else? A state-of-the-art system that makes an exact duplication of your tooth with the use of lasers is the only way to go. Im always in awe, when Im watching my tooth being made. Its quite the spectacle.
Best dentist office in Buffalo. Dr. Wood is warm and friendly, as is all of his staff. He takes a personal interest in his patients, and hes very genuine. Also, the office has state-of-the-art equipment and is a very comfortable environment (TVs in all of the patient rooms). Highly recommend.

Who knew that a tooth extraction would be an answer to prayer? And yet, today it was! Dr Wood is exceptionally knowledgeable, honest and good at dentistry. I’m on the road to recovery, and I didn’t know how sick I had been.
The best cleaning experiences I have had at any dentist. Gentle touch, digital x-rays, CEREC crowns, laser for damaged gums if needed.Emergency number always receives a call back from Doctor Wood within a few hours. If needed he calls in antibiotics to the pharmacy.
Just spoke to Brenda at their office. I asked about their laser system,hoping for a less painful option for a root canal. She said Dr. Wood doesnt do those, even though the site says they do. So, I asked her for a referral. She would not give me one. She wanted me to go back to my former dentist, who Im not seeing anymore. How many dentists are giving lip service about caring, but they dont? They just circle the wagons.
From the moment i walked in the office i felt comfortable. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and knew what they were doing. The office is beautiful, well kept and very modern. I will tell everyone i know about this office.
Unless you are planning to walk to your appointment I would suggest you go someplace else. Also most of these google reviews are probably fake since the reviewers only reviewed one place! Dr Wood probably has his staff write reviews for him. If you look at his yelp account, you’ll see this office is rated only 3 stars. This dental practice doesn’t have enough parking spaces and there’s no street parking either. When I called to ask the office where I could park the lady kept yelling at me and cutting me off. I even pronounced my name for her and she still continued saying it wrong. My name is pronounced LYLA and she kept saying Leela. They offered no apologies and no solutions. They were very rude and discouraging. I’m so frustrated right now because I took time off from my work to go there and I was really looking forward to it. The dentist might be great but the staff is rude and there’s no parking. I’m literally in tears right now driving back. To make matters worse, I stopped at the only empty spot on the street to call them which was by a fire hydrant and got harassed by a parking attendant. He was going to give me $100 ticket although I was still in the car with my seatbelt on and the engine running just talking on the phone with the office. Don’t go there. Take your business elsewhere. They don’t care about people.

I have to say that this is THE BEST dentist office I have ever been to. Dr. Wood is so gentle and kind and he really knows what he is doing. He discovered a problem that my regular dentist never even bothered informing me of? How does that happen when my former dentist was so expensive and supposed to be one of the best? I have to say that Dr. Wood most likely saved me from a lifetime of illness when he discovered blue inflammation in my mouth and a sist in an old root canal. He has been gentle but yet has stayed the course to help me recover and get back to health and bonus - my mouth - looks better. It has been a long journey, but he is keeping me on course . His office staff is so very kind, caring and wanting to help with financial issues as well as helping to make your experience as pleasant as possible. Wood Dental Associates is the best dental office in Buffalo! I have had multiple different dental hygienists and theyve all been wonderful! It is a very nice facility with flexible hours to meet my busy schedule!
Worst clinic ever...id never visit here again. The staff is extremely rude. They need to train the people here on customer service. im just purely disappointed with the service in this clinic. And their charges are much higher than other clinics as well. The experience is definitely not worth the money at all. Beware everyone! If you want to save yourself a horrible experience, just go to any other clinic but this one. You have been warned.

Very kind, very fast, very clean. It took less than 30 minutes to have a crown put in. They have all sorts of hi-tech gadgets, and Dr. Wood and his staff have been very warm and personable.
I left my first appointment at Wood Dental Associates about an hour ago and I couldnt be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the offices were comfortable and modern, and my wait time was next to nothing.My examination room was comfortable and had a large TV mounted on the wall in front of the chair... not necessary, but it definitely made the experience more relaxing.I was experiencing excruciating pain and was sure that I had an infection. The dental hygienist (who could not have been better) looked at my x-rays and told me that she didnt think there was an infection, but had Dr. Wood come in to confirm and go through the X-Rays with me anyway.The pain that was almost unbearable two hours ago is now almost completely relieved.I cannot recommend Wood Dental Associates highly enough.

Everyone at Wood Dental is so friendly, patient, and compassionate (for those of us who are uneasy at the dentist). Dr. Wood uses awesome technology that really gives you a full picture of whats going on when theres a problem. My minor cavities were done with lasers. No pain, in and out in like 10 minutes! They have big TVs in the room so you can choose your own distraction. I came here from a dentist that I was scared to visit, and since switching I have brought many friends to Wood Dental as well. Cant recommend them enough!!

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Wood and the staff. Dr. Wood took the time to listen to my concerns and develop the right treatment plan for me. The office is structured to help the patients relax and feel at ease. Dr. Wood and the staff genuinely care about the patients comfort, whereas in some other office Id been to I just felt like they were going through the motions.The office has state of the art equipment including 3D xray and some type of CNC/lathe machines for making crowns quickly on-site.The work I had done included having old cracked mercury amalgam fillings replaced with a safe ceramic alternative (e.max), replacing old worn/damaged nickel crowns with ceramic crowns made right in the office during the same visit, extraction of a tooth with a cracked root and extraction of a 30 year old root canal that had many cysts. I was very nervous about the extractions but they were completely painless. Thank you Dr. Wood and staff!
