My experience was excellent. Tonya Kobe does a beautiful job on doing designs on nails. She is so pleasant and such a sweetheart.

I’ve never had such a terrible experience at a salon. Upon arriving for my 4:30p appointment I was given a girl who was untrained and genuinely had no idea what she was doing. The other workers were aware of this and informed me when I left that “Everyone has to start somewhere.” The girl should have been trained on how to do nails prior to being trusted with a customer’s hands. After an hour of her trying to soak and slowly scrape my old set of acrylics off, she finally gave up and filed the rest. After that she began fitting the form stickers to my fingers, I asked for tips. She applied the acrylic powder so that the powder wasn’t completely mixed with the liquid to form a paste and in such a way that the acrylic overlay was so thick that they looked more like boils than nails. I told the girl what I wanted and even provided a photo to help her out and What I got wasn’t even close. None of my nails matched in size and shape or even thickness. My left pinky was in an ‘S’ shape because she decided to readjust the form after applying the product to my natural nail. I have many friction burns above and around my nail beds due to her careless filing as well. By 7:30 I had already missed my date and had been there for three hours. The nails weren’t even done at that point, I left with them unpainted and in tears because the service I received at Tonya’s salon were embarrassing, to say the least, and had completely ruined my evening. When I got home I clipped them off myself and did my best to make them presentable.
