Never in my life have I encountered such rude and unprofessional medical staff and thats saying something because Ive been to the ER at Brownwood Regional. Every time Ive called to make an appointment or been called by the office, Ive talked to rude, grumpy nurses. Always either Ann or Joy. Dr. Chandler is a whole other story. Every time I have gone in, she has made negative comments about my weight and told me I essentially need to get over my mental health problems. While I know my weight is an issue, I think theres a way to be a little more constructive and professional about it. These are the healthcare professionals in the industry for the wrong reason. They care more about making an extra buck than the physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing of their patients. They are owned by the hospital, though, so I guess thats to be expected. I only gave an extra star because there is one nurse there (her name is Amy maybe?) that is the only one there that hasnt made a negative impression on me.
