Cancelled my membership with the secondary gym, but missed fine print section 9.3 stating I must cancel through global fit... they refused to refund my monthly payments I had no idea I was paying as I thought I had successfully cancelled in the midst of me moving cities.Would bet a lot of money a large source of their revenue is from peoples monthly payments they dont realize theyre paying..... when was the last time you read down on a membership agreement to section 9.2...?Disgusting

I used GlobalFit for my gym membership for the first time Feb 2020 and I have received very responsive and helpful customer service since. Today I mistakenly signed up for a new 12 month membership not understanding that I am now month-to-month and was double billing myself. After reaching out by email they responded back very quickly and informed me they would cancel the second membership and refund the charges. Guess I should have read the fine print better last year but they were so kind to correct for me without any hassle!

I loved using my GlobalFit membership for a discount on my local gym. During the pandemic, I experienced some payment issues (the gym shut down + I changed my billing address) so GlobalFit froze my account and stopped charging me. When I decided to re-enroll, I had a very responsive experience with customer service (thanks Jordi!), who was able to cancel my old plan so I could start fresh in 2021!

My gym membership has always been a behind the scenes expense for me but once the pandemic hit, they proactively froze accounts. My husband and I thought we would be ok going back to the gym once they opened back up and unfortunately just have not felt comfortable with that idea. They responded immediately to my email request to customer support, froze my account and waived the processing fee. Totally seamless and painless. We hope to be back in the gym in 2021 and glad I can resume my membership when that time comes.

Global Fit is the ONLY reason I wasnt paying for my gym membership after my gym closed in March due to COVID-19 (and continued to charge memberships). Global Fit immediately froze my membership (and waived the fee) and has continued to help me through the process. They take action in minutes and are so responsive and helpful. So glad I joined!

The absolute worse ever. I signed up for a gym membership under the impression I would be able to cancel as long as it was within 30 days of the next billing cycle. I was told I am stuck in a 2 year contract for membership that I cannot use currently due to the pandemic and when I tried to cancel or even change to something that was conducive to my current financial situation I was told I cannot cancel for 2 years. I refuse to go to the gym wearing a mask and risk infecting myself and my family. I have a child at home who is very high risk. You have to be in a completely incapacitated state before they will cancel the membership. I am very disappointed and Global Fit is not trying to assist at all. I regret even going through my insurance carrier for this company. I was for sure I would be getting a great deal and I am not. I wish I had read the reviews before committing to a membership. Global Fit sucks!

Straight scam! Attempted to contact my representative on at least 3 occasions--never available. Provided them with my cancellation letter from the club, and they STILL have the nerve to try and collect money. Im sending a complaint to the CFPB.

Do not use Global Fit. Just like so many other places where you give them your banking information, they will charge you more than you committed to. Forcing employees to have multiple accounts for gym memberships and then double billing. Kim Hunt lied, and then wouldn’t make the account right, so I cancelled the membership. She didn’t hesitate to cancel it, it took her less than 30 seconds. I would say overall she’s great at keeping business.

It was a smooth and straightforward process and the customer service representatives were helpful. Information provided by customer service matched the information provided via the website so there were no unnecessary hassles.

Customer Service Didn’t return my call after a long wait on their customer service 1 800 number and then being asked to leave a message. I then learned from the gym I joined through the Global Fit service that the charged monthly fee is incorrect and will actually cost more because Global Fit hadn’t updated their rates despite a phone call and correspondence to do so. It is costing me more to go through Global Fit because of a registration fee waived by the gym and their transaction fee. To have had all this aggravation and added expense for what in the end is now only a 10% monthly discount is not worth it. I would not trust this company, they are not reliable. My Aetna health insurance plan contracts with them for the Medicare supplement plan which also informs me about the reliability and lack of due diligence on their part. It seems the consumer who is paying quite a bit for health care is the least concern by these entities. Not what I ever would have imagined after working all my life and trusting that our country was watching out for us.

I received a card in the mail showing that I am now in the SilverSneakers program and Kim started the refund process for me immediately. When I cancelled my gym membership, the gym cancelled with them but doesnt report to globalfit so I kept getting charged. So you have to make sure to cancel with both places even though the membership is with the gym. The system pretty much guarantees money for globalfit in the interim

This is a dam joke! They do not offer discounts through your job. Seriously was about to go through them for a gym by my job. They charge a processing fee, and every month they charge a 9.475% sales tax rate. You end up paying the same as the original gym cost and some cases more than just going through the gym itself. Hate companies like this.. Its a scam.. Do not use it!

I had a 1 year contract with Globalfit and after that year was up (per my contract) I was not contacted by Globalfit via email or phone to let me know that my contract was ending or to make me aware that I would then be put on a month to month and that they would continue to bill me. As a best business practice when a contract or billing agreement is ending and youre about to charge someone past what they originally agree to in the prior year you should give them notice.I spoke to two representatives who were absolutely useless. Needless to say I will be disputing the charges with American Express and I will let everyone know how terrible this company is at communicating with their customers as well as rectifying and de-escalating their customers. They need a serious lesson in customer satisfaction.Absolutely atrocious business practices and customer support was even WORSE. Never in my life have I been so angry with a company. I agreed to a 1 year contract and I assumed when that 1 year was over so was my membership. Thats how good companies operate. Clearly not this one. They are just trying to squeeze out a few more payments from their customers. Instead of being helpful they were combative and didnt present any options other than that they were going to keep charging me even though I said I want it cancelled and I didnt even go to the gym the last month because I thought my membership was cancelled after the 12 months. Had I known I would have at least used the God damn membership and went to the gym! Just a terrible 1 star experience with this company.Id be embarrassed to associate with Globalfit.

The best way to describe GlobalFit is a den of thieves! Once they have your payment information, they will continue to charge you - even after you have canceled your gym membership. Then theyll deny it all, refuse to refund the money and claim they cant access the records because they are archived. They are nothing but rip-off artists.If you are a benefits manager and are looking for an attractive benefit for employees or youre an insurer, stay away from GlobalFit. They will just steal from your employees and insured. Im fairly certain neither will look at that as an attractive benefit!

This website its a scam. I got a gym membership and the code that was send it didnt work with 24 hour fitness but the gym end up giving me a better deal. I called them and I spoke with rude Dana she refuse to transfer me to a manager. She refuse to refund my money. Waste of time and money DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

Bottom line is that I paid $34 more to use their services than if I’d signed up for the service directly through the gym. Their website is deceptive, and although they tried to be “helpful” by answering questions, the bottom line is that they are middle-men and scam artists. There is no corporate discount or the collective power of my union, which links to them, to gain a true discounted price on the gym I tried to sign up with. Beware! Will be contacting my state’s office of consumer affairs regarding their business advertising and practices.

I pray that you please do not buy a membership through Global Fitness. 🙏They are honestly thiefs where they charge you a fee to book through their website. Please compare prices through your gym before buying directly from here. I discovered you can go directly to your gym of choice or on your gyms website and get a cheaper deal. They charge you a fee just to book through their site of $51-$60 which you end up paying more than you pay for the actual membership through the gym. Also, I found out after I submitted my payment that this was not on the site where you make the payment which I accessed through my phone where if you dont scroll all the way down you will not see that they charge you for this fee. After discovering this misleading information, I contacted Global Fitness for a refund due to this and they stated they do not issue refunds, which to me they know their website is flawed so they implement a do not refund policy after you make a purchase. I kindly hope that you do not do business with them because they are only in business to profit of ones lost. I pray that no one else is treated this way as they have towards me.

I have been trying to reach out to my representative and their main line for over a week to sign up for a membership. I recieved one voicemail but the guy said he would only be in the office for another 5 minutes. There is a lack of customer service. I would rather spend the extra money going through the gym. Its not even worth the savings. Disappointed.

What a jokeTo save about $10 a month with a gym I’ve been going to for 15 years is not worth the hassle global fit puts you thru. I’ve called times over the past few weeks only to get put on hold forever with no one picking up. I’ve left emails too. I tried to use a no activation fee code and it didn’t work. Bottom line is for saving $75 a year it’s not worth the aggravation and incompetence of global fit. And there is lot of fine print including processing fees. I think I dodged a bullet of getting screwed over by them. This is a hodge pudge shoestring Mickey Mouse bush league hack job joke of a company. There true colors are easily found. Run for the hills .

My insurance company said they could give me a discounted rate on a gym membership, and when I enquired, it turned out to be globalfit. They were really helpful and emailed me a list of gyms that I could join in my neighborhood. There were gyms on the list that I had no awareness of! I ended up finding one that was perfect for me with free parking and a pool and convenient hours. When I called globalfit back to set it up, the woman on the phone actually recognized my voice and remembered me from the first phone call! I count that good service. They were able to give me a substantial discount at a no commitment month-to-month rate - much better than what the gym was offering alone. I wish that I had gotten the name of the person who was helping me, because she was very pleasant and friendly. I am pleased with globalfits performance.

They wanted to charge me $50 to get a $0 initiation deal at 24 hour fitness. I called 24 hour fitness and they have never heard of this company. The initiation fee at 24 hour fitness was cheaper than what this company tried to get me for. The gym even gave me a discount, I paid $12.50.

Seemed legit when I first signed up. However my contract expired 4 months ago but theyre still taking money from my credit card each month. Customer service says I need to contact ABC financial since they do not handle billing and ABC financial gives an automated message to contact the gym directly. When you sign a contract that ends on a certain date you expect your charges to end that day as well. I should not have been charged repeatedly after the contract ended and I definitely do not appreciate being sent on this wild goose chase just to stop being billed 4 months after my contract ended. Absolute waste of time and terrible customer service. I will also be reporting this to the BBB.

I used them to get a shorter Contract at a lower rate (35 instead of 40), with no sign up fee (normally 50) and no key fab fee (normally 50). The gym I chose is Anytime Fitness.I paid $19 to use their services.

I would give 0 stars if it would let me. Impossible to reach a human! There is no place to cancel online and no one answers the phone, so I left a voicemail. I emailed myself as I left the voicemail cancelling my account knowing they are difficult. Of course, they kept auto debiting me, and only when I stopped that with my credit card did they email me. They denied receiving my voicemail, so I provided my cell phone statement showing the call and also showed my email to myself. They still denied it.
