This place is a hidden gem stashed away in a small Plaza and big enough to feel like youre in your own zone without bumping into others. Friendly and courteous staff with an upbeat attitude and a decent amount of equipment to keep anyone squeezing and sweating for a good few hours. Its simple and unpretentious. My kinda place. 💯

Good affordable gym. Not too busy and equipment is okay. Plenty of cardio machines, but not enough weights and Smith machines. Recommend for someone looking for something affordable and not planning on using much weights.

Every time I come in I am always welcomed which I really like. The people that work here are excellent and offer free help on a daily basis.

Never clean. Equipment worn out. Employees arent helpful. Least updated and maintained Planet Fitness Ive been to. As I work all over the Twin Cities, Ive been to over a dozen of them. Also, 8 days after my monthly dues came out of my checking account, one of the members told me I needed to update my credit card information. Im wondering if management is running a scam out of that gym.

Equipment always feels grimy, free weights are strewn all over the place most of the time. Locker room is dirty as well. Took them 5 days to fix a leaky urinal that left pee over the bathroom, atleast it’s cheap. Elk river location is more enjoyable but isn’t close to where I live hence why I’m switching to anytime fitness.

Staff are so friendly and professional. The gym is well maintained. One of my favorite gyms, especially because of the affordable price!

They need to make sure all equipment are working. Because of social distancing it makes it hard if some machines are not working. Also, needing to better regulate mask policy. Overall not a bad gym to go to. You get what you pay for.

I personally take Planet Fitness mantra of a judgement free zone seriously, as I have serious insecurities with my body right now.So, when I was looking for a gym to put my insecurities to rest, I kept coming back to PF. Since I bought my membership a little over a month ago now, Ive had a wonderful experience from the friendliest of friendly staff greeting you when you come and go, to the other gym members themselves doing the same. It truly makes my time in the gym much more enjoyable! I do not see myself going elsewhere!

I recently joined lifetime fitness and I’ve yet to have a negative experience! The facility is super clean and the staff is awesome. Everyone there is super friendly. If you think about joining this gym, do it!!

I love the hydromassager. I wish they had Zumba classes but they do have a trainer.

Had a terrible experience with employee and manager providing customer service at this location. They don’t take responsibility for their mistake and charged me with an extra month of membership. A new employee made a mistake and provided me with the wrong information. Employee insured me the manger will call and fix the problem. Manager didn’t get back to me and When I called she didn’t provide assistance or fix the issue. I will never go back to this place ever again!!

Cashiers have the worst attitude with me everytime I come in so I just dont bother to speak to them unless I need to buy a drink or pay my bill. Attitude is disgusting. When I find a new gym Ill be breaking my contract there

Most of the staff here are really rude lmfaooo do not come to them for questions or anything they will give you attitude like it’s not their job. they all act bored or like you’re bothering them. not worth the $$ for the membership you are better off elsewhere with better environments.

Place looks decent enough. I was there today to try to join. But they wont let people pay for the entire year up front. I cant have monthly dues for personal reasons. For this reason alone, I will end up joining lifetime.

I have tried to cancel my membership through a letter and over the phone as at this point I do not care to take risk and thats my choice. They refuse to cancel and hang up. Ive reported this to the BBB as they keep deducting from my account as well. Just because some people are ok with entering a gym during a pandemic doesnt mean everyone is and they should honor that. Unfortunately I have a job that requires I take every safety precaution I can not to get covid and bring it to work. We manufacture supplies that are on the frontline of not only covid but other VERY necessary supplies within the medical community. Now here is another letter to Brooklyn Park owners. CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. Save the memberships for people that want to be there and dont mind taking some risk.

Had a great visit. Clean club. Music wasnt overly loud and didnt seem to be biased towards any particular genre. Counter people were very nice... Even when there was an issue with my account.. and later when I insisted that the hydrobeds were working. The mgr picked up on my back and forth and stepped in to clear the situation. Showers, which is what this traveler needed the most, were good and warm. Not crowded..mostly empty on a Thursday between 1 and 3 during the CV pandemic. (2020). Overall...this club isnt the newest or the best in the chain. But it wasnt a bad one. For those who want to know the showers are the newer tile versions (good) and not the older fiberglass ones.

I honestly wish I could use your services, as a member of the Planet fitness in Brooklyn Park. The establishment is always clean, the staff are wonderful and helpful. The Only problem I have and the reason for the bad review would be the past 4 months, way too many people will be in the gym without masks. I am not talking about the treadmills, this is in the mandate. I am however talking about the weight/ machine section. It dose not matte what day or time I have tried to workout, there are at least 10 to 15 customers not wearing them. their are 4000 to 5000 people a day in MN that are positive for covid-19 and at this point 250,000+ dead in the USA. This is not acceptable.

I was a premium member until my guest was deny and asked for birth certificate by a Spanish lady who works their. I told her since shes denied my guest, I wanted to down grade. She was very disrespectful and she cancel my membership.

I use to come here as a guest. Ended up getting my own membership. The team lead, Amanda is so helpful and friendly. She makes me feel so welcomed every single time. There’s also Gabe who is an overnight and he answers any questions that I have. Clean facility and excellent customer service!

Planet Fitness is where I like to exercise daily. I enjoy the sparkling clean, well-maintained facilities with exceptional customer service. The membership fee is very affordable. I highly recommend Planet Fitness. I rarely visit the Brooklyn Park location now that another location is more convenient.

This facility a joke and very unfriendly. The staff are unprofessional and very biased towards individuals based on favoritism. Rather than finding a solution to problems they create they would instead falsely accuse individuals of of wrong doing when completely innocent. This place is disgusting with the way business is.conducted and shall be shut down due to improper treatment. I have been a valued member for quite sometime but decided to cancel my membership due to the environment being hostile and traumatizing. Can’t even workout in peace without feeling threatened or as if I make people upset and uncomfortable. Very disappointed in the customer service and I with I could rate negative stars due to the unjust situations I’ve endured. I had staff and customers bump into me in an arrogant manner and then cry to the staff about their wrong doings. Very immature environment and corporate should shut this terrible place down. I am appalled at the bigotry that goes on within this facility. Poor service to say the least.

I felt comfortable the second i interacted with the two people working last night, i think one of their names was jenah. friendliness is exactly what i needed to feel able to work out. pricing is affordable and the equipment works well. highly recommend for people trying to start working out without the financial needs to do so.

Planet fitness is a place to workout everyday. They are very affordable, and have good customer service. The workout machines are user friendly. My experience with the trainer is awesome.

I love this gym! The fitness classes give you great bang for your buck - its a $10 monthly membership and you can take unlimited group fitness classes - although at this point, Im usually the only one there, so Im getting personal training several times a week for my $10! Cant find a better deal than that! 😁

Gym was great up until I was approached in the parking lot by a male who got into my car and aggressively tried to get my phone number during broad daylight after my workout .I went into the gym later on asking to speak to the manager and told one of the employees about the incident but I was never contacted .I no longer go there by myself but with my husband .

My wife and I have been to planet Fitness in Brooklyn center several times and we both have been very pleased with the gym the staff are informative and professional. The gym is always clean and in great condition. Id highly recommend this place.

Gyms are decent. Each one is little different in terms of equipment offered. Customer service on the other hand is less then helpful and lacks professionalism especially at the Brooklyn Park location. Customer service in almost any business is huge.

I cancelled my membership in a timely manner and even got a call stating my last payment would be taken out in March. They proceeded to keep taking money out of my account and would not give it back. Horrible customer service. LA Fitness has much better customer service and doesnt take extra money out of my account.

Associates are welcoming and nice at first until you cancel. My experience for canceling the membership was unpleasant. Beware, the actual canceling process does not match what is stated on the terms & agreement paper that you sign off to become a member. They gave me hard time on canceling.
