I can’t say enough good things about Creative Wellness. Five stars is not enough. I have been a client for over six years. The therapeutic massage is healing, restorative, re-centering, calming. I always leave the beautiful space feeling renewed. Creative Wellness is also very careful about their Covid protocol. You will feel very safe, which is important if you want to relax and leave your cares.

Jim is an extraordinary massage therapist! Every single touch makes a difference. For an hour or more, every pressure feels like exactly what your body needed. Its fantastic. Jim also takes time to listen to you, to think over what treatment is best for you and to let you know what hes going to do.I went to this clinic before and during the pandemic, and I have always felt perfectly safe. They have thoughtfully adapted their space and procedures to maximize safety during the pandemic; they communicate these changes very clearly in videos and on their website.Oh, and they have great equipment, including a heated massage table?!

Outstanding experience! From the moment I made my appointment, Creative Wellness provided me with information to help me feel comfortable in their pristine studio. They have a video on their site introducing their new safety measures, and they sent helpful details the day before my massage. When I arrived, Minden was so welcoming and everything was exactly as described in the video. The studio is stunning and peaceful - I immediately felt at ease! Minden spent time asking me about what I had in mind for the massage and was so thorough when I mentioned that I was recovering from an injury. I am a runner who unfortunately, has experienced my fair share of injuries over the last 1-2 years. Specifically, this past fall I dealt with some nasty tendonitis in my left foot. After a few consecutive sessions, my tendonitis was completely gone. I went from hardly being able to walk without pain, let alone run, to being able to run 5 days a week again. I am immensely grateful, and highly recommend this place.

I am always delighted with my experience at Creative Wellness Strategies. I have gotten a few 60 minute massages with James, and he is amazing! He makes you feel very comfortable and you can tell he is educated about the body and its pressure points, and genuinely wants to help you feel better.The space is extremely clean and peaceful. I recently tried their new infrared sauna, and it was great! Their system offers various health programs (detoxification, anti-aging, pain relief, weight loss, etc.), so it has something for everyone. Highly recommend!

This was a pretty awesome experience. I had bad cramping in my neck, and they were able to fit me in same day. My massage was fantastic... James loosened all the areas related to my neck first, and then went to work on the problem itself. I left feeling much, much better. My visits to health professionals are infrequent at best, and viewed as a stand-alone visit this was top notch, but I was super impressed by the results, and am inclined to go again, and perhaps even again. He extended a new client discount to me, which was a nice gesture, and they accept credit cards, even AMEX. The facility was immaculate, and beautifully decorated in a rustic, but clean-lined style. The ambient music - which I never really love - was unobtrusive, and absolutely quiet enough to ignore. Registration was on line, so I didnt have to show up early, and all in all, I am really glad I went. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, inured or not. And... there are other team members there, at least one of whom is female, if that makes a difference. Thanks James, you made my day!

Creative Wellness just installed an infrared sauna and it is amazing. I spent about 40 minutes in it and felt very relaxed and energized when I got out. The infrared sauna doesn’t drain you like a regular sauna does. My body felt very loose and less tense afterwards, and it felt like I had just gotten a massage. I felt lasting effects and will have to do it again and regularly. Amazing.

Ive been a regular client at Creative Wellness Strategies for a couple of years, and couldnt be happier. This is the first place Ive ever stuck around—Ive had other massages here and there in the past, but nothing that was every inspiring enough to make me feel committed to one therapist or one business. In particular Ive never found a therapist who has struck the right balance between application of strong pressure (my preference), immersive relaxation, and attentiveness to the particular issues Im hoping to find relief from, but I finally feel like Ive found a good match for those needs here. All of my massages at CWS have been with Jim, and Ive had both the hot stone and signature massages multiple times. Jim takes the time to fully understand the clients body (both on the day of the session, attending to how Im doing lately/that week) and also over time as he learns what the chronic patterns look like and how that the tissues respond to different techniques for healing. Rather than a temporary fix or a mere treat, massages from Creative Wellness truly feel like an integral part of my (aspirationally) holistic health and wellness practice. I feel really cared for while Im there, and I always leave feeling physically and mentally relaxed. I highly recommend Creative Wellness Strategies.An important additional note: during COVID, CWS has been very proactive in communicating with clients about the measures they are taking to keep their clients and staff safe and healthy. I was lucky enough to get a gift card for a 90 minute deep tissue massage at Creative Wellness. Everything about my experience was great, from the initial phone call with Jess to set up the appointment to the actual massage to the follow-up. On top of that, they fit me in on a Sunday afternoon!The massage parlor (?) had a wonderful atmosphere, Jim was amazing, and I felt like Gumby at the end.I would recommend this place to anyone.

I was gifted a Groupon for a 60-minute massage my birthday to Creative Wellness, and it was by far the best business Ive found through Groupon and the best massage Ive ever had! The space is calming, has a communal-yoga-studio meets Newbury-St-spa-amenities vibe to it. My masseuse, Joanne, was very thoughtful, articulate in explaining her approach and asking questions about my goals for the session, and worked wonders on my shoulders. I really like that the session began with deep breathing exercises and the music playing was very relaxing. Would highly recommend!

Jim feels like hes dancing on your body! But he leans into spots that are tight and works until they release. He surprises you with little moves that seem new and give a fresh feel to each massage. A tightness that wouldnt allow my arm to move straight up is now loose and I can raise my arm right over my head. PT didnt help but massage did! I give him a 5!

My husband and I visited Creative Wellness last Thursday. What a treat! The space is beautiful - real oasis right in Coolidge Corner! When you walk in you can almost feel the stress of your day drift away.My husband saw Emily and he said she was fantastic. Hes been seeing a physical therapist for some foot pain hes been experiencing and afterwards he was in no pain! He said she spent a lot of time working his hips and legs, go figure! Either way his feet (and the rest of him) for the first time in months, were completely pain free.I was scheduled with Minden at the same time and wow. What an amazing massage, she really knows how to get in there and work the knots out.This is the 3rd time Ive visited Creative Wellness as I travel to the Brookline area quite frequently for work. The last time I saw Meghan - and afterwards I could feel the results for days. It felt amazing.I dont know what it is, but they have it! I dont think you can get a bad massage there. The beautiful space, wonderful and experienced therapists and automatic addition of hot towels and essential oils just make it an wonderul experience.
