Dr. Lantsman and her assistant Daniela were fabulous, figured out how to fit us in over Dr. Lantsmans Christmas vacation, which was a godsend for us. After visiting 9 other doctors in Boston and elsewhere, Dr. Lantsman had us run a test that revealed the likely root cause of the myriad symptoms and now we are on the path to recovery.

Dr. Lantsman is an expert in her field. Lyme Disease has been a reoccurring issue my entire life and I would be completely hopeless in the Boston-area without her. Although patients need to submit claims for her appointments, it is worth every penny to be healthy, able bodied, and Lyme Disease-free. Dr. Lantsman literally saved my life. The conventional doctors couldn’t figure me out and they told me to “live with the pain..and I’m just getting old”. I’m 47. Dr. L and My Path Medical have been incredible for both me and my son. Its rare that both a Doctor and the administrative staff have been a pleasure to work with but Dr. L and Daniela are EXTREMELY responsive, pleasant to deal with, and very organized. More importantly, Dr L. is amazingly current on any research that may help her patients conditions. She really knows the intricacies of your patient history without checking the boxes on a chart (Although, she does keep very accurate records of patients) Each patients well being is a collaborative effort between the patient and Dr. L. She discusses options with you, rather than mandating medication or procedures. I have never seen a Doctor so willing to listen to what a patient is saying rather than telling them what to do. In line with her Functional Medicine approach, she treats not only the presenting problem but the WHOLE person with everything at her disposal, to ensure optimal health for each patient. My son and I have seen her for both Thyroid issues and tick borne illness and we couldnt be happier!

Best doctor I have had! Dr lantsman thinks outside the box and treats the whole patient, not just a symptom or two. She has helped me with heavy metals, gut issues, and stress reduction. She even reaches out unprompted to see how I am doing and provide advice. She is very responsive even on nights and weekends and I feel that she is as invested as I am in my health. Dr. Lantsman is an experienced and skilled physician and diagnostician. We had worked with many other doctors, but none were able to bring true healing and recovery for lyme and the co-infections that had been misdiagnosed for so many years. Standard lab (Quest/Labcorp) testing for Lyme and co-infections is proven to be highly unreliable, which we have confirmed with some of the top scientists developing tests for tick borne illnesses. Dr. Lantsman knows how to diagnose based on symptoms and newer, more accurate lab tests. I highly recommend Dr. Lantsman as a caring, responsive and effective doctor.

Dr. Katherine Lantsman is great. Smart, intellectually honest, open (no false sense of I am the Dr. I am always right, I know everything, which you know can not be true - like you get at some of the well known Boston Hospitals). She is highly experienced with chronic/difficult to diagnosis and treat illnesses. My son, who previously was healthy, gregarious, intelligent etc. was misdiagnosed multiple times (diagnosed with incorrect illness) and also had multiple missed diagnoses (Doctors who completely missed the right diagnosis and did not even run the rights tests) for 10+ years at the Top 3 Boston Hospitals (!!!), until he became completely debilitated and bed ridden. They had no answer. 20+ Doctors, many emergency hospitalizations over 10 years etc. at all the big hospitals and every Doctor at all 3 big Boston Hospitals completely missed it. Dr. Lantsman got it right (diagnosis & treatment). How do we know this? To confirm 1. we then had multiple independent tests run by multiple labs/Doctors (including a novel test that is not public yet) 2. we had multiple independent Doctors examine our son and review the test results, and also run all their own tests ....they all supported Dr. Lantsmans diagnosis & treatment. The best indicator of how good she is - my son is on a path to recovery and has started to get his life back. This simply would not be the case without Dr. Lantsman. Regarding the negative review I see here - keep in mind - Dr. Lantsman takes on some of the most difficult to diagnose & treat illnesses, often after all other Doctors have failed. One Doctor who previously was treating my son, upon finding out we consulted Dr. Lanstman said actually, if you can see her, you are better off working with her, since I consult with her to ask her guidance on some of my most difficult cases. I rely on her for advice for these conditions. We have highly recommended Dr. Lantsman to other family members. We do not know where we would be without her.

Considering what Lyme and the co-infections can create in your life, Dr. Lantsman was a very definite life saver! Yes, there will be a slew of antibiotics and protocols implemented with her approaches as she and you, the patient, try to find the correct combination to help the patient recover. It is not a simple and easy process for anyone involved...trust me...I know this first hand and the established medical dogma will leave you in pain and forgotten.

After hyperthermia treatment in Germany for borreliosis, I began treating with Dr. Katherine Lantsman almost exactly a year and a half ago. Immediately, at my first appointment with her, I knew she was conscientious, kind, very intelligent and the kind of doctor that would help me to improve my health. After about 6 months of treating post-Germany Dr. Lantsman and I were in agreement that my Lyme Disease symptoms had disappeared. I am now living a normal life improving each day. Dr. Lantsman is a very intelligent, sympathetic doctor who truly listens to her patients concerns and works with them to create a protocol that is not only specifically targeted to a patient’s symptoms but also to the underlying disease while respecting their desired approach to treatment. She will take the time to go through each and every symptom and along with supporting lab work provide a diagnosis that connects the dots to form a unique picture of an individual’s health condition and provide a roadmap to recovery. No medications or treatment protocols are pushed but she will make suggestions which are backed by her extensive research and education in the field. If you would rather take a different approach she will lay out the options and work with you to select what’s right for you.This was exactly the case for me when I approached Dr. Lantsman after feeling betrayed by the many doctors I had seen prior to her. I have a multi-faceted chronic disease condition including neuroborreliosis that has been going on for well over 3 years now. I had many tests and had seen many doctors, including well known neurologists in Boston, who while recognizing that I was indeed having issues and verifying some of my symptoms, they let me walk out of their rooms time and again with only vague answers and never a treatment plan.Within several months of a treatment plan that Dr. Lantsman and I had created I started to immediately feel relief and that I was finally getting my life back. My life has since exponentially improved while we have modified and changed treatment plans as needed to stay on a positive track. I was diagnosed in 2017 with seven tick borne illnesses--lyme, bartonella, babesia, mycoplasma, pneumoniae, anaplasma, and erlichia--following two tick bites. If I was not under the care of Dr. Lantsman, I probably would have died, because no other doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. She’ll take your (out-of-pocket) money and lead you down every conceivable rabbit hole of questionable medical treatment, but if that ends up helping you then you’re problem is likely not a medical one.
