The Pain Center was always great and I was well taken care of when the NP Laura was there. Since Laura left, the new person, Dr. Flores, doing Botox and nerve block injections is a complete disappointment! She spends more time during the visit doing paperwork than seeing the patient. I travel over an hour to go there and one day, when I had childcare cancel last minute, I called to say I would be a little late. The receptionist said it was fine and they offer a 15 minute grace period. I arrived 17 minutes late and Dr. Flores herself refused to let me wait until the end of her day to see me for a quick 15 minute procedure. The practice manager was no help in remedying the situation or showing any compassion for my situation. If you live outside of Boston and travel far to go, I suggest finding another place if you want fair and compassionate care.

Ive never written a google review in my life but feel strongly enough about this place to advise folks not to go here. The first consult appointment I had I was told because Im transgender and the name I go by doesnt match the name on my insurance card that they would charge me $500 if I didnt jump through all these hoops within the next 48 hours to get that sorted out, even though it is a health care providers responsibility to know how to address patients of all different backgrounds. When I actually got to go in for treatment I could not get a straight answer about insurance coverage and billing and spent 1.5 hours on the phone being shuffled to different billing departments before ultimately being sent back to the first number I called, that couldnt help me. Its unacceptable to not tell patients how much they are being charged for their care, and to not even have a way for patients to find that information out before being slapped with an expensive bill. This is the worst healthcare experience Ive had in my entire life, and thats saying a lot because im a trans person of color with chronic pain.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Please do not go here, literally find any other hospital because they’ll be better equipped to help you. They seem to think Advil and physical therapy will fix anything that’s wrong with you.

Dismissive. Rude. Expensive. Hard to get to. Just look at everyone elses reviews. It seems like there is one doctor there that is holding up the place? Good luck.

Always had great experience with the pain clinic. Ive gotten trigger point injections. Theyve always answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with whatever was being done at the moment.

If I could give a negative star I would! Doctors have no idea what they are doing. Stay away as the only thing that they care about is billing the patient.Nurses do NOT follow up to see how patient is doing, doctors do not clearly explain what medications should be taken. Unorganized scammers, stay away as there are so many other good doctors and clinics in the area.

Im shocked by the negative reviews here. My experiences, over almost a decade of treatment here, have been nothing but positive. Over the last decade, Dr. Nagda has helped alleviate up to 90% of my pain. I have found all the members of the team to be 100% professional and attentive.

Avoid this place if you can. Administrative staff is rude. The residents and fellows were great for the most part but the doctor is not there to help you. I came in with a back issue affecting my shoulder and hip and had to come back in multiple times so that my appointment could be coded correctly. Basically, the doctor is not concerned with my pain but just with getting paid. I have been to other pain management doctors in the past and never experienced this treatment.

I love Dr. Nagda, she has a very conservative way treating, and will do what’s best for the long run. I was on methadone for pain for a few years, and had been to BWH and MGH pain clinics to no avail. Dr. Nagda took over my treatment and after some very painful radiofrequency procedures, i was off the strong pain meds and nearly pain free. I always recommend her to anyone with really bad pain, who’s not looking for a quick fix of the symptoms with a prescription.

I arrived about 20 min late due to heavy traffic & construction. My long painful ride was all for nothing! They told me they have a 15 min grace period & should anyone cancell they would see me. After an hours wait they denied my appointment only to be sent away into the 5 oclock rush hour traffic. I am in greater pain now, thanks to their priorities, compassion& understanding. Never will I go back to this entitled office.

I have been going to the Arnold Pain Center for 13 years and they have helped me a great deal with pain management and kept me away from surgery. It took 6 months or so to find the right treatment and now I go in to see them every 12-14 months. My doctor has bent over backwards and been available when I needed help with both my treatment and to help with the insurance company. I highly recommend them.

I arrived early for my appointment, they took me early. However when the doctor came in to speak with me he was very dismissive over the fact I have chronic back pain and scoliosis. The doctor advised that I just take Tylenol for my pain and that I need to move around to help the pain. Even though it’s beyond painful to move when I expressed my concern about the pain he said then do physical therapy and sent me on my way within 20 minutes along with making me do things that hurt my ankle which is fractured and had no concern for that either

These so-called pain specialists pounded on my daughters lower back and then claimed she was faking and drug seeking. She was curled up crying and they were disrespectful and dismissive. The dr notes say that they lightly touched her back. The pain doctors here are quacks.

First I arrived they made me wait a hour and I cant even sit . I thought I was going for a cortisone injection. Then Asian doctor is asking if I only came for pain pills . Then she I had to wait 3 weeks for insurance approval. I asked her I will pay for out of pocket . She said no. I was getting mad and she kicked me out of her office.

Avoid Arnold Pain Management clinic!!!!!!!!Rudeness galore!! I am a medical professional but never in my entire career i have met more unprofessional and rude people. Cannot imagine that such a reputable hospital like BI would allow secretaries to speak to the patientsin disrespectful tone of voice basically telling patient that he or she is stupid. My plan is to reach out to the CEO of the company since this behavior is condoned by the office manager.
