The entire facility is extremely well-maintained with regard to preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. All surfaces are treated immediately after being used, including the chairs in the waiting area.Routine testing was administered to me by the very affable and informative Practice Manager, Kerri Hale. She made the lengthy testing process almost enjoyable, while still maintaining a professional atmosphere at all times. My regular eye physician, Kevin Kaufman MD, gave me his analysis of all the data that had been collected. Any concerns I had were addressed thoroughly. In the end, I was extremely satisfied with the thoroughness of my examination, and very pleased with the entire experience. I certainly shall NOT hesitate to return for my next examination.

My wife went in for an eye exam for my son due to a failed screening at his regular pediatrician checkup. She was told he would need glasses, but was not offered the prescription. Due to being in the practice for over 2 hours during a pandemic, she was a bit flustered and managed to leave without making a follow up appointment or asking about the prescription. A few days later she called back asking how to obtain the prescription and was told she would need to pay $45 for it. After asking why the up-front charge she was told insurance does not cover it and promptly transferred to the manager who immediately raised the tone to an 11, even though my wife was not balking at the fee. The manager then told my wife that she had been informed about the charge (she had not) and called her a liar. Had she taken a different tone we would have paid the $45 no problem and put it down to a misunderstanding, but the immediate confrontational and accusatory tone made it so my wife just wanted to get off of the phone. This seems like a policy that is not implemented well and has perhaps confused others, thus causing the immediate aggressive tone on the phone. Regardless of the reason, with this terrible customer service I cannot recommend this practice.

Always a very thorough exam and very kind staff. They take the time to listen and answer your questions.

If I could give this office zero stars, I would. Horrible customer service -- in fact, non-existent customer service. I just called to make my first appointment. The receptionist was very rude. She became agitated when I asked questions regarding insurance. The whole experience was unpleasant. She could have taken the time to be kind, explain their policies and process, and maybe even welcome me as a new patient. Not the case. The call ended with my explaining to her that I would be finding another doctor. She hung up on me. I called back to ask her name and a different receptionist answered. Same experience. She also hung up on me.

This is a review for reception only. They have a very rude receptionist who interrupts and is condescending. I might have switched to an eye doctor here because I live very close to the office, but I would not want to have to deal with that woman. She is driving business away. Why has she not been fired?

Agree with other comments in here to also avoid this place. Had a bad experience, which I won’t go into details, but I would never go back again.

Highly recommend. I ran a dermatology practice for 18 years and they would ALWAYS accommodate our patients in need. I also have been taking my children here for years. Very friendly and helpful staff, very skilled and competent physicians. Your eyes are in good hands.

Dr Fraioli is gentle thorough knowledgeable and consistent. Recent electronic record updates have sped up visit times and decreases wait times. Records are now available and medical histories. Staff is helpful. Never had a billing issue in more than ten years. Park on Juniper St.Missing 5 stars as my mothers other doctor there missed mebobian gland dysfunction for years and then didnt even apologize!

I would not recommend Boston Eye Physicians. I was on time exactly, but they kept me waiting 45 minutes before starting my appointment. A lot of other patients also were asking when they would be seen and were being kept waiting. When the doctors finally did see me (one had to stand in because the other one was a no-show), I felt very rushed by them. I also felt they took the absolute minimum amount of time to get through the exam and get me out of there, albeit in a professional way. This is not a winning combination for me : starting very late without excuse or apology, and then rushing the patient through the exam, not letting them finish their answers before launching into new questions. The waiting room was also quite dreary and felt run down, as was the patient exam room. On the plus side, the front office people were helpful and cheerful, and some of the eldest doctors appeared to be sincere and caring of their older patients. Sorry but seek alternatives.

My sister, mother and I were long-time patients of the late Dr. Irving Pavlo for about 40 years until he retired from Boston Eye Physicians & Surgeons some years back. Then we continued with Dr. Richard Floyd for a number of years and now my sister and I are patients of Dr. Anthony Fraioli.I trust Dr. Frailoi and the members of Boston Eye Physicians & Surgeons team implicitly. My mothers cataract surgery was performed by Dr. Floyd (at Mass. Eye & Ear) and the results were spectacular. I would not trust my eyes to any other doctor[s] or practices.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a doctors office - I was see TWO hours after my appt time because the front desk clerk forgot to tell the dr I was there and then when I told Dr Fraioli he didnt really seem to care. My contact lenses cost $200 and as of today (a month after my appt) have not been delivered. Called and got the answering service who then hung up on me!! Ridiculous

My wife waited for almost 3 hours to be seen and the staff person Jennifer was very rude. The entire waiting room cleared and my wife was still not seen. Drops has been put in her eye and then they forgot all about her. I would avoid this place. They are poorly managed.
