If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in for an emergency appointment due to a tooth ache on a Saturday. They looked at it for two seconds and said I needed a root canal. I thought they would do it right then and there considering it was an emergency appointment, but no, so we scheduled an appointment to get it done for that following Wednesday (literally 4 days away). Fast forward to Wednesday at the time of my appointment and they claim that they need to reschedule my appointment because they supposedly sent me a text to confirm my appointment and I never responded. They had “been trying to reach me for days.” Flat out lie. I never received a call, text or an email despite me knowing that they had my correct contact info. They then changed their story to them not having my correct contact info, despite them having emailed me and called me in the past. Another lie. So because I never responded to a confirmation text that they never sent, I then had to reschedule this “emergency” root canal for another day an entire week away. What’s the point of an appointment if it’s not kept? If I wasn’t going to be able to make the appointment, wouldn’t I have just called and told them that? There was only 4 days between making the appointment and the actual appointment. Seems a bit absurd that I would have to confirm that I’m coming to my appointment during that time. Plus the fact that they’re just straight up liars about not having my contact information. Do. Not. Go. Here.

The dentist and the team were amazing! I had an emergency and they got me in immediately and the dentist walked through everything. Made me very comfortable and so amazing they took care of me and now I am pain free!

I chose Sahara Dental as my first dental experience in the US based on the high rate here and its actually wonderful. All the staff are nice and skilled. They give you a thorough examination and explain the status of your oral cavity and what are need to do. There is a priority score of each item in your treatment list so you can know which is necessary and which is optional. They also discuss with you about your dental insurance to let you get the best treatment with less cost. Highly recommended!

I pulled out 3 wisdom teeth here, two of which were completely impacted. The doctors are very skilled and the nurses are very patient. When they knew that I did not have dental insurance, they applied for a 15% discount for me.

Dr. Naji did absolutely amazing. I had a terrific experience with a wisdom tooth extraction. It was the fastest and most painless experience I have ever had removing a tooth. Thank you so much !

Though the front desk staff is always so nice and welcoming, my problem was with my actual service. I came in to get a normal cleaning and that was absolutely the worse and most painful experience I’ve ever had. The dental assistant literally scraped my teeth so many time where my gums were bleeding, and then proceeded to say that happens when you don’t floss? I’ve never in my life had a dentist continuously scrape my teeth so aggressively. In addition to that she had the suction tube almost down my throat which was very uncomfortable. Overall there will never be next time I will definitely not return and she should be more trained or just not work there.

I had a really good experience at Sahara Dental. The staffs were very friendly. The dentist assistant was really nice she made me feel comfortable. The dentist did an amazing job . The extraction was very quick and pain free . If you every need a pain free experience this is the perfect place to come. You will enjoy the amazing service.

Up until Sahara Dental, I hated going to the dentist. Each time I go here I get a little less anxious about the next time. Dr David addresses every single one of my concerns, even the ones that are seemingly irrational. Never thought I’d give 5 stars to a dental office, but these were definitely earned. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

We moved to Boston area recently, and have visited Sahara Dental for my Sons progress on wisdom tooth removed in another state. Customer service is very good, and Dr.Amitha Agarwal has examined very well and we definitely recommend this place. Especially for people need appointments over weekends as they open 7 days a week.

I think it says enough that a dental assistant did my cleaning and assessed me for Invisalign follow- up appointment, when it should have been certified hygienist and general dentist respectfully. I had no interaction with a general dentist whatsoever. That is extremely unprofessional and harmful for patients, and I know I am facing the consequences of that by having to re-do my ortho treatment.

My name is Luis. I went to the facility to get a regular clean after several years. Everyone in the office was polite and courteous. But I’d like to focus on Gladys, she was the dental assistant that actually cleaned my teeth. I expressed my concerns and how long it been since I’ve seen a specialist.On occasion when being seen it comes as second nature for some professionals to just tell you what you’ve been doing wrong & how long you’ve been doing it wrong for. Then the conversation elevates to how much more work they have to do.Gladys was not this person from the beginning she had a calm, cool, and collective tone. Ask me about my day & then continued to school me on steps that I should be taking moving forward to avoid such extensive procedures. She made me feel welcomed and at ease anytime she felt that I was in discomfort. All in all I appreciate professionals like herself who do their job and show kindness while doing so. Thanks Gladys!

Dr.Naji was the best hands down!! . I had an extraction done , it was so quickly done I did not feel a thing ! Best part is he was able to extract the WHOLE tooth without leaving a piece behind.I would definitely recommend Dr.Naji. He is very helpful. Very nice!! I went to this place on Sunday for an emergency visit. The receptionist was very nice, but the doctor I seen was RUDE. She was ROUGH the way she pushed my head back. She was RUSHING during our interaction. If I asked her a question she responded as if I was BOTHERING her. She was walking out the room and I tried to get her attention - she responded WHAT! The assistant that was working with me called the doctor into my room for something - the doctor went from one examing room to my examing room with the same gloves. She used those SAME GLOVES to look at something on the computer in my room. She had the assistant do a COLD test where she sprayed something on a long cotton roll and placed it on my tooth (the assistant didnt appear to know what she was doing). I had this test done in the past, but the doctor was the one that always did it. The doctor told me I had a failed root canal. I never had a root canal on tooth #14. I told her it was tooth #15 that was causing me the pain. Tooth #15 has a crown but never had a root canal. I made up my mind at that time that I was going to go somewhere else because I did not TRUST her judgement, she was rushing, rude, rough and not clean. She told me she would have to refer me to an Endodontist because they are the ones that can drill through my crown. I kindly left. I was expecting a better experience given all the great reviews.

Before I start nagging, I want to thank theor front desk staff and Dr. Naji for working with me on my bill as I ws a full time student on a budget.However, My issue was misdiagnosis by another doctor at the clinic. As well as the xray process and cleaning.The cleaning process only invloved polishing -which to my surprise also took less than 10 minutes! I do not have the healthiest gums and noticed in my cleaning several month later at a different clinic, that what was done at Sahara was merely a pat down and not cleaning!Additionally, they X-ray equipment was HORRIBLE! So painful and made me gag several times and took forever. This has never happened to me before!Also,I had a root canal and crown done while a deep pocket issue was overlooked. Needless to say, even after root canal and crown placement, the affected area was still sore. I went back for a check up but was told that this will go away in no time. Shortly after I relocated to Canada, went to an experienced dentist, and was told that the issue was a deep pocket that needed to be lasered off. I am finally at ease from the pain and soreness. I am assuming that the new dentist may not be quite experienced. There used to be a female dentist that was spot on, on everything and was kind and compassionate. I wish they hadn’t changed their team!For the sake of integrity I will not mention the new dentist’s name. In addition to my frustration with the service, I also did not like the robotic attitude and apathetic comments about my teeth. A dentist’s compassion makes a huge difference in patient care!

I am new to Boston and chose this place based on the positive google reviews. PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. My experience here was ABSOLUTE TORTURE. I literally came home crying after what was a 1.5 hour long regular checkup and cleaning.The x-ray technician took way to long at each uncomfortable position. I also got hurt in a couple of places (which is typical for some, but I have had much better dental x ray technicians with no issues). In the end she said we didnt get great pictures but Ill explain it to the doctor (probably that I have a small mouth). She was really nice though and apologized often, but I would rather go to another person who has much more experience directing the patient and getting it done swiftly.The cleaning person/doctor? who came in next WAS EVEN MORE HORRIBLE. Right off the bat he started selling me Invisalign. Over the years I have done my research and have also had many consultations with different dentists before. I can identify an annoying salesman pitch from a recommendation when I hear one. *All the problems (I just had sensitivity in one tooth) and future problems will only go away with invisalign*. When I asked for other options, there were none. After all the selling they were going to send me away without even the scheduled cleaning. I can maybe leave this mismanagement out, as a benefit of doubt. I now wish I didnt point it out. The cleaning that followed was HARSH QUICK RANDOM SPOT CLEANS which shook me so much that I ended up in tears from pain, frustration and horror by the time I reached my car. It lasted probably just 3-5 mins. I was scared I would get poked in my tongue or gums. There was also no flossing or tooth-by-tooth cleaning, as I have had in the past. Cherry on the cake was the person had a strong BODY ODOR.Again, overall nothing I have ever experienced before at any dentists.The machines were all OK but you have to get up and move to the sink to rinse your mouth, which was also my first.I am sure many of you will be able to relate to these experiences and may benefit from this review. Thats my only reason for taking out the time to write this out, i.e. To save you from torture.I feel for other doctors and technicians who may work there. My review is only for the two I interacted with. It seems like a small family owned business so I feel bad hurting their business, but I can either think about them or you. If there is an owner to this business hopefully you will train/hire better people.

Dr. David makes you comfortable with your issue and has great service. Got emergency treatment that day. Staff is great and friendly.

Terrible experience. I went to them with a dental emergency and they told me I needed a root canal. They referred me to their Watertown location for the root canal and then called me and cancelled my appointment 2 days before my appointment and said they had no dentist any longer to do the root canal and believed they wouldn’t for months. No referral, no suggestions just cancelling all their patients appointments like we don’t matter. I am so appalled by this. Someone in pain in need of a root canal and they leave you untreated without any solution. Disgusting!

I overpaid for my treatment (before receiving it) and now the clinic wont refund the surplus amount fully. They are offering to pay only half and that too they said will take 3 more weeks after they said it would take only one week. Do not go here, this place is full of cheats - they only want your money.

Sahara Dental is a very good DENTIST😁❤. I had the pleasure to have a great Dental Hygienist/Assistance that worked with Dr. DAVID. They both made me feel so comfortable and very welcomed. My first appointment (cleaning) and the advice was SUPER. You can tell they both love their job. I have been to many different dentist in Massachusetts BUT SAHARA DENTAL IS THE ONE FOR ME.

Finally found my dentist and office! They saw me right away for an emergency wisdom teeth and they took care of me for any following issues and visits. Loved the girls at reception! They are very understanding and helpful. Dentist was very attentive and did a great job! I feel I’m being taken care of through this process

I had a root canal and crown performed here, and it started causing me a lot of problems about a year after the procedure. The specialist I saw here in my new town says the previous dentist did a horrible job and that the root canal and crown need to be re-done. Cant say enough how disappointed I am hearing this, as the staff at Sahara Dental were so nice to me and provided me with great customer service. Now Im in a lot of pain because of a bad job completed by them.

If youre looking for a GREAT dentistry then look no further, BEST DENTIST IVE EVER HAD!!!! A couple of months back I had severe tooth pain (dosing Orajel 3-4 times a day 🤦🏾‍♀️😫) but I was extremely nervous about visiting a dentistry during this pandemic. I finally caved and called my regular dentist, whos next available appointment was almost 2 weeks out. When I arrived, he wasnt able to do anything for me except give me a referral to an oral surgeon and schedule me for a future cleaning 😡😡😡. After getting home that afternoon I did a google search and found Sahara Dental Center had an office not far from me. They were able to see me within the next 2 DAYS!!! and did the extraction without any complications (it was in a challenging spot). I left their office completely PAIN FREE and with a full treatment plan. Within the following 30 days/3 visits later my entire treatment plan was complete!!!! Dr. David is the BEST DENTIST IN TOWN HANDS DOWN!!!! He and Dr. Naji go out of their way to provide EXCEPTIONAL service and theyre even open on holidays! The staff is always very friendly and accomodating (especially one of their dental assistants Ashley). Ive been referring everyone I know ever since and I cannot thank them enough for the relief they provided me!!!

False diagnosis to try to make more money off you. They are desperate. Go for a 2nd opinion before you get anything done. They told me i needed a crown lengthening which i don’t need. They told my husband he needed new fillings which he didn’t need.

Every time I went there I had to wait a minimum of 30 minutes, regardless of the type of procedure or the time of day. Why schedule a time to begin with ? They are over booked and disorganized. I did not feel safe in the small waiting area with not enough distance from other waiting patients who didnt even have their masks on. Staff didnt say anything.***UPDATE: The company management has been very helpful and kind addressing the issue Ive written about. Ive been compensated since we moved recently we tried their location in watertown (American Dental) which was a great experience.

At first, I had so much trouble finding a dentist to do my upper extractions. Every place I went was loopholes and red tape. Very shady characters in the dental field when it comes to money. And then, thank god, I found Sahara Dental. I was in and out in a day. No stress and my insurance was accepted and covered 100%. What a great experience! Recommend them to everyone!!Joe

I waited 45+ minutes to be seen. Once I was finally sat in the room, people kept coming in and out, in and out. Barely got a cleaning because I needed to be at another appointment but was still sent a pretty bill 😊. They are clearly overbooking people.

This place is amazing. The doctor there is patient, kind and thorough. The girls who work in the office and dental assistants are very nice and are on top of everything. In the past I have had some very bad dental experiences! To the point where I avoid the dentist until I’m in excruciating pain. With that said not only dose this office offer emergency root canals and extractions but there also open 7 days a week! I drove over an hour on a Hope and a prayer that I could find a dental office in the city that could help relieve my pain on a Sunday morning. THEY ARE THE ONLY DENTIST OPEN SUNDAYS in the Boston area. To put it simply I am an individual who has really bad teeth I was terrified of the dentist and I was just looking for some immediate relief but by the time I left the office I walked out extremely excited with a new dentist.

One of the better doctor experiences we’ve had.My wife had an impacted wisdom tooth, super swollen, and it’s a holiday morning.20 doctors told us that they are not working, and we should go to Emergency room.Sahara dental came up on Google, and they said we can come ASAP since it’s an emergency.Dr. Naji which is a pro gave us a lot of his knowledge and experience, made us feel very comfortable with the process.60 minutes after we got there we already had x-ray’s and both impacted wisdom teeth were taken out.The cost was fair.The rest was simply one of the best customer experience I’ve encountered, also all the staff are friendly and professional.Keep working so great guys.We appreciate your work.

What an amazing team they have at Sahara Dental. I had an emergency situation on a Sunday morning and they told me to come right in , which I did. There were other patients there but they did not keep me waiting long at all. It was a great experience. I had a very bad tooth pain and was worried to go to dentists in boston. After checking with a few different dental offices I finally decided to come here. And it was a great choice. The dentist did a great job and I no longer have any pain in my tooth. All the people who work there are great and kind and they schedule appointments very fast and are open until late hours which worked well with my schedule.

Although they are an hour from where I live, it is worth the drive to make sure I get the dental care I want and deserve. SAHARA DENTAL IS NOT WHAT THEY SAY THE ARE!Around 2 years back I went to them for getting a dental implant in one of my frontal tooth. After the implant was done, unbelievable! The crown itself started falling apart by pieces, I went back to them and they sent me to Watertown location American Dental to have it fixed but they didnt what they suppose to, Ive visited the dental facility several times and they just wasted my time, canceling appointments or calling to check if I can go earlier my schedule appointment, without mentioning the long waits sitting at the patients chair all by myself, really ridiculous, they have no respect for patients time. I remember I told them I was going to the police if they dont solve the problem, this was before the pandemic stated, then they did a temporary cemented crown, that should hold till the next appointment, this was January and yet Im still waiting for them to solve the problem. I have requested my chart to make a proper complaint before authorities and yet they didnt give anything to me, even if its my right as a patient.

This dental office is very accommodating, professional and friendly. They were very willing to work with me on very specific dental problems. This has been my first visit but I left with an actual affordable plan that will work with my finances (something Ive never experienced at any other office). Im actually looking forward to going back to my second appointment. I believe this is the first time in my life Ive been excited to go to the dentist which speaks volumes of them. Everyone from the reception desk to the Doctors themselves are very nice and add a personal touch that I find helpful.

I needed urgent care and they stayed late to see me. Took great care of me. I could not have asked for better care!!!!!

Efficient and friendly

BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. My wisdom tooth extraction took all of 30 seconds! That is NO exaggeration. I couldn’t believe it was completed that quickly! The dentist was incredibly kind and put me at ease. He didn’t speak like he was above me(like some dentists and doctors do) and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything! I will never go to any other dental office again. The secretaries were also very kind and patient! I cannot recommend this dental office enough!!!!!

This office is full of the most wonderful people. They are always willing to help. I never have to wait too long to get an appointment and they are always willing to sit down and discuss financial/insurance matters with me. I’ve never had a bad visit at Sahara Dental and I totally recommend them!

I’m pretty convinced that Dr. Zaid is the real life tooth fairy. I came into his office on a Sunday, with chipped front teeth and a feeling that I’d never be able to smile again without hesitation or fear of embarrassment. From the front desk staff, to the dental tech and the man himself, everyone was kind, courteous and willing to take the time to explain what the plan was and how we would move forward. I felt extremely comfortable speaking candidly with Dr. Bender about what my options were and how they would be carried out. He walked me through everything step by step and made sure I was on board and understood the plan and his reasoning behind it. He worked quickly but carefully to piece back together my smile, and when he was done you couldn’t even tell that there had ever been any damage. I was amazed and so relieved!! Dr. Zaid and his staff saved my smile, and they did so quickly, kindly and on a Sunday!! I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience, so whenever I find myself in Boston and in need of a dentist, I know exactly where to go!

Dr. Mona Hovaisi replaced an old filling for me. She is a wonderful, warm and sincere person. Dr. Mona was very sensitive in making sure I was not experiencing pain. Thank you!

I highly recommend this clinic, the advice always great an honest, the guys look after the patients, the are absolutely not after your money. I will definitely visit the again after my last great experience.

I chipped my front tooth Saturday night and was very worried about there not being any quick and easy solutions available. However, I reached out to Sahara Dental and by the next day on Sunday at 10am they took me in and did a wonderful job filling in the chipped area. Thank you so much! Highly recommend.

More then happy even though I was soooooo scared 😳to get my tooth 🦷 taken out!!! They made me feel comfortable & helped me very much with how to make it affordable & accustomed to my needs ! Dr. Benders work is second to none. He recently replaced an old veneer and it looks so authentic, one cannot differentiate it from my real teeth. Yes, his work is that good. He also happens to be extremely personable, making each visit to the office a welcome event. I highly recommend his services!

Three words for this place“ best dentist yet“ from the friendly receptionist going above and beyond, to accepting my sons recent xrays from another dentist, a month earlier. Dr. Nagi and his team turned an emergency wisdom tooth situation into a pleasant experience.I highly recommend Sahara Dental Center and will refer it gladly.

Excellent staff, service, and awesome dental work. They have extended hours till 9pm and very convenient to make visits in the evening. While most dental hospitals close by 5pm.One more nice thing I like about them is they give the price estimate for any procedure instantly.Their email and phone notification & reminders are also excellent.Rescheduling is easy too.

Dr.David is very professional and nice, he explains everything to the patient before procedure, this dental is highly recommended to go!

This place is great! The best experienceI have ever had at a dentist. I had an emergency and was in pain, I didnt have an appointment but they squeezed me in for X-rays and a quick diagnostic with only about a 10 minute wait. The dentist was SO nice, understanding, accommodating and genuine. The site is small but the hearts of the staff are definitely not! The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. Everyone was super nice. The dentist showed me my X-rays and explained everything to me in detail. Together we came up with a plan of treatment that was best for me. I have yet to go back to have the actual dental work done but for once I dont dread having to go back to the dentist! I have no doubt my next experience will be just as great. Recommend this place 100% if you have a dental emergency and/or if youre someone who doesnt enjoy going to the dentist. Theyre great!

Dr. David & Amir really made my visit easy. I got my right side wisdom teeth extracted as an emergency visit on a Sunday. I am naturally terrified of the dentist but they made me so comfortable. I found them on google and now they will be my forever dentist. Thank you guys so much! I’ll see you in a couple weeks for my follow up.
