Ive always struggled with trusting dentists after having a few very bad experiences. When I came to CITIDental Brookline, I didnt even need to share that for them to be incredibly informative, friendly and collaborative with me. They explain or show me everything in a way that always makes sense. I always feel like I am asked what I would like to do rather than being told what I need to do.

I have been a patient at CITIDental Brookline for a few months now and I am extremely satisfied with the practice. I came to Dr. Alsafar because my teeth had shifted after I lost my Invisalign retainers. He was able to get my teeth back to perfect alignment in a matter of weeks. (He also made quick work of a few cavities that were long overdue for fillings.) He is knowledgable, patient, and efficient -- and he has exceeded my expectations! Additionally, staff are pleasant and professional, and office space is very clean.I highly recommend CITIDental Brookline!

I have never been to a dentist because I always had healthy teeth. But recently my gums started to bleed and needed a deep cleaning and I was referred to periodontist Dr. Coleen, Shea. I must say shes professional and knows her job. At start of my procedure, the anesthesia shots to make you numb were kind of little painful (No pain, No gain) but after that it went smooth. My mouth doesnt bleed now and breath fresh. Thank you Dr. Coleen!

I initially discovered CITIDental Brookline when I booked an Invisalign consultation back in February. I had such a great experience that I ended up switching dentists and will now attend CITIDental permanently for biannual cleanings. The space is beautiful and the staff were all super friendly from the front desk to the dental assistants to Dr. Alsafar himself. I felt like all staff really took the time to provide me the attention needed to develop an individual plan to treat my smile. Dr. Alsafar is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to provide me with detailed information about what I should prioritize. I highly recommend for both Invisalign treatment as well as general dentistry.

Dr. Colleen Shea is a true professional - unmatched kindness, patience and expertise. I immediately trusted her and respected the way she interacts with and coaches her supporting technicians. I am now coming to this office for cleanings too and will recommend all my hesitant friends do the same.

Dr. Alsafar is the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His kindness and soft touch is remarkable. I needed extensive dental work after years under the care of an incompetent dentist. I now have a smile I can be confident of. He never pressured me to do more than I could afford. Instead, he devised a long term plan that would save my teeth and and my pocketbook. What a great experience! I met Dr Alsafar who was super professional and knowledgeable. I have been to many dentists, but Dr Alsafar and his team were exceptional. He has a great communication skills and he explained what needed to be done thoroughly. I have an anxiety when it comes to see a dentist, but today Dr Alsafar made me very comfortable and he took away all the fear and the anxiety I had through his skills and confidence. He treated my tooth and I am certainly coming back for my future treatment.I highly recommend Dr Alsafar!

I was always anxious of having to make a dentist appointment (didn’t have a great experience with my previous dentist). However, everyone at CITIDental Brookline makes you feel so welcomed! I needed a root canal done and I was extremely worried, scared, and stressed about the process. Dr. Alsafar had so much patience (he made sure I was okay through the whole procedure) and made the whole process stress and pain free! Definitely would recommend CitiDental!

Dr. Hwang has been the best and easiest dentist I ever come across. She along with her staffs (Kathy and Mandy) did a great job on me. They made every step of my process easy and comfortable at all time. Their main concern was that I was pain free and comfortable. I’m very happy with my results and services.

I switched to CITIDental Brookline about a year ago and I have been really impressed with their level of care. Everyone in the office is super friendly, helpful and professional; they all go above and beyond. Every appointment has been easy and I have never had to wait past my appointment time.They are super responsive to emails when I have a question, and Dr. Hwang herself has personally responded to me in under 24 hours, even when I didnt address my email to her directly.Good office location with easy street parking nearby as well. Would 100% recommend this office to anyone, probably the best dentist Ive ever been to.

I had a crown unexpectedly fall out one Sunday and needed to have it replaced as soon as possible. I called CITIDental and was able to get an appointment within a couple of days.From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was genuinely welcoming and accommodating. The front office and facilities are all brand new and wonderfully lit, something that you dont really get everywhere in Boston; the windows were almost floor-to-ceiling!Over the course of the next month, I had 3 subsequent visits to replace the crown, receiving various fillings, and get a cleaning. Dr. Nathalie and her team were very attentive throughout all my visits and never left me waiting. All procedures and costs were explained to me in detail upfront (although simple enough for me to understand). Scheduling future visits was also very pleasant and stress-free as the staff in the front office were extremely accessible and help.As I see it right now, CITIDental will be my dentist for as long as I live in Boston!They also have pretty good flavored coffee. Not the kind that leaves that weird, filmy taste in your mouth. The magazines arent too bad either (theyre not old).

CITIDental always has me looking forward to my next appointment. I have been going here for almost a year, but I have been to the office maybe half a dozen times. Clearly, my teeth needed some work, and now I love going to the dentist! I am very grateful for my improved dental health and hygiene awareness. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Everyone that works here is very friendly! Despite a little bit of a wait for my appointment, I had an excellent experience. I was updated on my wait time and offered drinks and magazines while I waited. Since everyone was so friendly and kept me in the loop, I did not mind waiting at all. Especially since Dr. Nathalie Gal was so friendly and caring. Every step of the process was explained clearly, from my insurance coverage to the dental procedures. Definitely returning and would recommend to anyone!

Great group of nice and professional women. I had not been to the dentist in about 5 years and I had to get a root canal and a few fillings. They made it a great experience and there was surprisingly no pain during the procedures.

Huge fan of this place. The staff is awesome and very friendly. Dr. Gal is incredible and very patient. It takes me more than 40 minutes to get numb and she was extremely patient. I hate needles but she made the process so relaxing and kept calming me down. I came in for a cleaning and Dr. Gal found a broken tooth and that I needed fillings. Never knew about the broken tooth but glad she found it so it didnt get worse. I had never felt any pain so didnt know it was back there. Got a new crown within 3 weeks. Simple. I requested new retainers and they got them for me within 3 weeks. I cant say enough how wonderful this place is, how great the people are and how good the service is. No one wants to go to the dentist but honestly, I dont mind it because I always look forward to seeing the people, until Dr. Gal says I need a root canal :-) (hasnt happened yet)!

I hadnt been to the dentist in almost 3 years on account of having awful graduate-school health insurance. Going in, I figured they were going to tell me they needed to yank a couple teeth or something on account of how disgusting my mouth felt.The last time I was here it was still Rofe dental, and the vibe is similar, although all the equipment is new. The staff is super friendly, I didnt have to wait long at all before the appointment, and the hygienist (Kelly, I think) was a sweetheart, and explained everything she was doing clearly. Dr. Shane was also great; very friendly, clear with explanations, and didnt try to sell me anything when I asked about veneers/braces. He just explained the process and left the ball in my court.My mouth feels great now, I keep looking at my teeth in the mirror, I cant believe how clean they are now. I had no problems with wait-time, cleaning, billing, or office. Everything youd want from a dentists office. Thanks!

I highly recommend CITIDental Brookline, specifically Dr Hwang. She somehow makes a visit to the dentist genuinely enjoyable. Even my husband, a long-standing dentist-phobe, has converted! Everyone at the office is pleasant, professional, and very accommodating. Ive never had to wait long for my appointment, I can always reach an actual human when I call, and they go above and beyond to make sure I get the treatments and products I need.

Ive never been a fan of going to the dentist, but I can honestly say my best experiences with the dentist have been at CITIDental Brookline with Dr Glal and her team. They are very polite and friendly, from checking in on how you are doing personally to their professionalism and care during cleanings and procedures. I have never had the typical scolding experience, that I have had at other dentists. Here they give you tips on ways to improve your oral health without trying to shame you for not flossing everyday. This is an extremely refreshing experience! She and her staff take the time to explain and show you things, so that you better understand what is going on with your gums and teeth. Once, Dr Gal showed me images of my cavity and the filling process to give me a better understanding of what was happening with my teeth and how she was going about treatment. I really appreciate this approach to dentistry. Definitely a great dental office and team!

There should be an option to give Dr. Gal and her team ten stars! I had both a deep cleaning and a root canal and was taken excellent care of...from the minute I walked in to the minute I left the office. The doctors are so considerate, compassionate and knowledgeable, I felt like I was in the best of hands. This is easily the best dental team around.

I get very nervous whenever I have to go to a doctor or dentist, but the staff here have been really good to me. I went to them on a referral from a dental student I knew, and Ive felt like theyve done a good job taking care of me every time Ive gone there. The staff are both thorough and gentle, and for someone who gets nervous about all the small things, this really means a lot to me.

I have been consistently impressed with the professionalism, expertise, and patient-centered care from Dr. Gal and the support staff at CitiDental Brookline. She and her team helped me recently resolve dental pain quickly with the utmost concern for my comfort , while being accommodating of my work schedule. I almost never review, but Dr. Hwang deserves it! My previous experience with fillings was weeks of soreness. Dr. Hwang made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of each time I visited. She has a very comfortable approach and the bedside manners made me feel as if nothing had happened. Appreciate the fantastic work!

Great experience coming in my first time for a cleaning. Connie was so nice and friendly plus the clean space and up to date technology was really impressive. Dr. Gal did a great job breaking the news to me that I had two cavities and an old filling needed replacing. They booked me to come back in for that the following week. Lina the practice coordinator was right there with an estimate for me and responded right away to my email where I asked a few additional insurance questions. The fact that they also offer evening appointments is a huge bonus too!

I went to Dr. Gal recently and it was my first dental visit in over a year. I thought I needed some extensive work, but that was not the case. The doctor was really gentle and she didn’t make quick judgments or rushed things. She was easy to communicate with and only told me I needed a filling re-filled. After the procedure, I was not in pain and my teeth looked refined. I normally don’t like going to medical-type places, but she makes you change your mind.

I want to recommend very much going to a dental clinic CITIdental Brookline. I have a very good experience whenever I go there, for both teeth cleaning with Kelly or making crowns and fillings with Dr. Shane and Nisreen, and actually all the clinic stuff is awesome! Kelly is an excellent hygienist, she is very patient and understanding, thorough and very gentle. I did one deep cleaning and one regular routine teeth cleaning with her, and every time it was a great pleasure to have her. I highly recommend going especially to her!

The entire team is incredible. From the moment you walk in the door the process is warm and professional. Dr. Gal is thorough, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with as well.

These guys make for an excellent dental practice. Ive been going there for a couple of years now after moving to the neighborhood and the work quality has been excellent along with the service. My experiences have been with Dr. Eunhae Hwang and hygienist Kelly. Both go out of their way to provide with quality service and to make sure the customers are happy.Its great to have a dentist office one can trust.

The first time I visited Citidental I was pleasantly surprised and amazed by how thorough Dr. Shane was. He examined my teeth, measured my gums, took pictures to show me whats going on inside my mouth and explained everything in details.. I never had a dentist spend as much time doing an exam before! I referred my girlfriend and my coworker and both thanked me for it. Believe it or not, Dr. Shane and the other members of Citidental make going to the dentist a pleasant experience!

Dr. Gal is excellent - efficient, kind, and has lots of up to date technology to make sure my dental care is as good as it possibly can be. Natalia, the dental hygienist, is wonderful - she has tons of experience and knows how to make the whole process quite pleasant. The atmosphere of the office is comfortable and relaxing, mostly due to the great staff who work there. Ive been going to the dentist at this location for almost 15 years and am so glad I stayed with CitiDental when the practice switched!

They made sure my root-canal was painless as possible and took care of my crown the same day!!!!!!Ive been having so much phobia around my teeth and its a blessing to find a dentist I trust :) if they are local to you, use them!The office is clean, relaxing, and sets the best vibe.

Went in with some pain when chewing on one side. Saw a technician for about 50 minutes, and a dentist for literally, at the most, 5 minutes, never looked in my mouth. Came back a week later for a one hour procedure, never saw a dentist. Three days later, returned for another one hour procedure, never saw a dentist. Still some pain. Had me come back to see the dentist three weeks later. Never saw a dentist, the technician sent me to downtown Boston for another type of x-ray. We will call you when we get the x-ray here, later today or tomorrow. Went downtown Your office will call you this afternoon or tomorrow with the results. That was a month ago. No call, no information, no seeing a dentist since that first 5 minutes. And yes, still some pain. Too bad one star is the lowest rating possible.

Absolutely amazing care! Coming from someone who has a ton of dental work to be done, I wouldnt trust anyone else to do such consistently phenomenal care. Not only is Dr. Gaad extremely compassionate, but she is honest and provides outstanding care. I have never been so happy with quality of my care! I would recommend CitiDental anytime for any amount of dental work. Every person that works there is kind and respectful. 10 out of 10!

Was given no information prior to my tooth removal, they expected me to be out of work half a month, one week recovery time and then come in the next week and then have another weeks recovery time. No information was given on what the surgery was going to be like, the hygenist acted like Id be out and about the next day. The entire ordeal was one of the worst dental experiences Ive ever had.

Ill start by saying that I dont post many reviews, especially for dentists but this review is warranted. Up to about a month ago, I hadnt been to the dentist in a few years. Despite this, CitiDental couldnt have been more accommodating.During my initial cleaning/consultation and subsequent follow-ups, Ive dealt primarily with Dr. Hwang, Dental Hygienist Nisrine and Dental Hygienist Kelly. Im not sure you could find a more welcoming and accommodating group of people in Boston. Not only did they take the time to explain what they were going to do beforehand and allay any concerns I had (not a big needle guy), they continually asked how I was doing while performing work. Kelly even had a minor fender-bender right before my appointment and was still one of the most pleasant people Ive ever chatted with!Lastly, the work performed was necessary and well-explained. There was absolutely no pressure to have any work done that wasnt needed. The front desk staff are also very courteous and efficient. I really cant say enough about CITIDental Brookline and the aforementioned staff. If youre looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Hwang and her team at CITIDental Brookline.

I first visited Citidental in an emergency situation. I needed a root canal done and was in terrible pain. They fit me into the schedule to ease my pain and begin the procedure. After a couple more appointments everything was good as new and I couldnt be happier. The staff was kind, knowledgable and made me feel comfortable every step of the way which isnt always the case with Dentists. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone for any kind of dental procedure.

I thouroghly enjoyed my experience and appreciated the direct approach with how much I would have to pay after my insurance benefits.It would be a nice touch if Citidental offered toothbrushes and toothpaste For regular cleanings.

I was so lucky to have had such a caring dental assistent, Nisreen, and a nice dentist, Dr.Gal. Nisreen cared a lot about my comfort and made me feel at ease during every procedure. I highly recommend Nisreen to anybody who wants a great dental experience.

I went to Dr. Shane, whos new at Citidental, for a crown. He was careful, concerned, and very respectful of my needs. I have history with some very traumatic dental experiences as a child and I am wary, often terrified, of dental care. I went to Dr. Perle, who ran this office for decades, and was anxious when he left but Dr. Shane was great. He saw me briefly on my initial visit, which I expected, and then on my return visit took the extra time needed to make sure my anesthesia was right, but also took the care to remove the prior crown carefully and clean up the remaining tooth for the next crown. I have no problems with my temporary crown either, after several days. I cant speak to anyone elses experience by for myself, I highly recommend Dr. Shane and Citidental.

Update: Still very pleased with CitiDental. Dr. Shane is courteous, careful and professional. I cannot say enough of how pleased I am with CitiDental Brookline.Let me tell you why.I was leery of not being able to go to my dentist of some twenty years who was moving his practice to New Jersey.I must say I was apprehensive when going to my first appointment with CitiDentalBrookline.However,as soon as I arrived the whole staff was welcoming and made me feel comfortable.When I met my new dentist,Dr.Nathalie Gal, I was extremely pleased with how she treated me from the outset.She is caring and a consummate professional .For the first few visits she treated a problem with a crown that had been recently placed by my former dentist and when the crown cracked they ordered me a sturdier crown and didn’t charge me anything for the new crown and appointments.I was so pleased with their professionalism in taking over the practice.Subsequent to this work they saved another tooth that I had a problem with,having their root canal specialist retreat an old root canal.”Dr. Safe” as he is called was thorough and incredibly competent.I have been impressed with the new equipment they brought to the office.It is the most up-to-date and at the cutting edge of dental practice.CitiDentalBrookline is number one in my book.Len P

The office so clean and modern equipment and a mind blowing wall paper full of colors like its alive , The front desk so nice and helpful, the office manager (lena) was really sweet she is the cupcake of this office , I mean when you go to other offices you just hit a not-smiley faces ( they smile only because its a job requirement ) , a robotic people makes you feel they dont care , Dr.gal was professional she did a full exam and she explained to me everything with details which is i appreciate .
