I had such a good experience with Dr Guo. She and her staff were really extremely kind and professional, and were very accommodating when I was running late and they managed to fit me in anyway. The level of care, attention to detail, and concern that her patients understand what is going on was really special. Best dental experience ever, I will be returning as long as I live in the area.

The minute I walked into OG Dental Groups office, I was completely at ease. Their waiting area has never had a backlog of patients waiting so my appointments are always on schedule. We began looking for a new dentist when we moved to the Boston area and found Dr. Guo. She is competent and straightforward, but has never been pushy when recommending treatments. On multiple occasions she spared us time and discomfort by accurately recommending simpler treatments than we expected. She and her staff are easy going and friendly. Her receptionist in particular is the most accommodating and attentive we have encountered in New England. After initial visits by both me and my husband, we decided to use her for our whole family, and we have now gone to her for significant work. Its hard finding a good dentist, especially after not having one for years during college. I came to OG Dental Group about 1 or 2 years ago on recommendation from a family member, and Im glad I did! Ive had fillings and cleaning procedures done there many times now. Since my first visit, I could tell that Dr. Guo is truly a well-skilled professional. She is never judgmental (I think I first came to her with 3 or 4 cavities - yikes!) and always listens to my needs and concerns. Dr. Guo even taught me how to floss properly and gives me good recommendations for dental hygiene products. I havent had a cavity since. Kingsley, the Patient Coordinator, is always very helpful when making and rescheduling appointments. He is the welcoming face to OG Dental!The office is in a great location in Brookline and is very modern with new tools and tech. I love that Dr. Guo asks if you want tv playing in the background during your procedure - its comforting to me to have a bit of a distraction while there are tools in my mouth. I felt very uncomfortable with the Dentist Dr. Guo. I find her to be rude, disrespectful not caring. Seemed for me that she hates her job.When I asked her something while she is doing something, she just ignores me. If she is busy, you can be still nice and explain with a smile. After cleaning and check up she just left without: Do you have any questions? I did have a lot of questions about the treatment for the fillings. I felt nervous all the time. Also the x-rays were not done so well (process also hurt). My new doctor had to do some new ones.And it was such a big difference at this new place. He actually cared and made me feel good and I wasnt so nervous anymore. I am so glad that I am taken care of nicely now.2 stars because she didnt do a bad job, I just dont like her personality and the whole atmosphere. And especially a dentist need to be a little nice, because its already not the most popular place :)

Dr. Guo is easily the most thorough, consistent, kind and personable dentist I have ever had. She takes the time to make sure I am always comfortable, explains what she is doing, guides me through my x-rays and includes me in the process more than any dentist I have had previously. She never makes me feel bad about the state of my dental health and isn’t condescending as some dentists can be (yes, yes, I know I should floss every day). In the past year and a half that I have been going to her office Dr. Guo has never kept me waiting but I also never feel rushed out the door. I highly recommend her to anybody looking for a new dentist, she and her staff take the extra effort (including hand written notes) to make their patients feel appreciated and remembered.Also, on a practical note, she has Saturday hours which are extremely convenient for people who work during the week, and there’s a big parking lot across the street that usually has spots available to make parking easy for those who drive.

Needed to find a new dentist after my previous one retired and was referred to OG Dental Group by a friend. From the start, Ive been extremely pleased with my experiences and decision to choose them. Doctor Guo is very professional, patient and caring. I had deep cleaning there at the end of January, and the cleaning process was not that terrifying as I had thought. Rather I felt quite relaxed as Doctor Guo was very careful through the procedure. I had check-up about a week ago. It seems that my gum recovers very quickly - the bleeding issue has been greatly under control and it has very healthy pink-looking now. BTW, the environment there is quite tidy, bright and peaceful, every time I walk in I feel so calm. This is really helpful in reducing my anxiety for the deep cleaning. All in all, I highly recommend Doctor Guo for people who is looking for a professional and nice dentist.

I have visited OG Dental Group a few times since last year. I needed quite a bit of work (fillings, deep cleaning, crown, etc.) as I had not seen a dentist for a while and my teeth and gum were in pretty bad shape. After a full examination, Dr. Guo did a very good job of explaining to me the work needed, what options are available to me, and how to sequence the procedures so that I get timely care while maximizing my dental insurance benefits. During procedures/exams, Dr. Guo and her assistant did a great job of making me feel comfortable. After just a few visits, my pain is gone, my teeth are no longer sensitive to hot/cold food, and the health of my gum has improved dramatically. Dr. Guo definitely knows how to fix teeth! Scheduling appointments is easy--I have been able to find date/time that fits my schedule. Even though I live 30 minutes away and its not a short trip, its well worth the travel time. I would highly recommend Dr. Guos service!

Thanks OG Dental!Given Thomas Meis comment, maybe I should explain sensically why I had an subpar experience. I was honestly holding back in giving the entire story because they are actually nice people. After moving to the area, a year ago, I wanted a general dentist for basic stuff like teeth cleaning, etc. I chose this place because it was very close to where I was living. After the general check-up, I mentioned I had TMD jaw issues and was using an over the counter mouth guard that actually worked pretty well. Without me prompting, the dentist specifically told me that she could make a nightguard that would be an improvement from my current mouthguard. I didnt realize how such a simple decision could be such a pain for me later on. I wore it the FIRST night and woke up during the night with extreme pain in my head and jaw (I thought this was part of the TMJ remedy process). Next day or so, I noticed that my bite was off, I could only bite on my left side. I came into OG dental and she pretty much said there was no problem. I didnt know what happened, so I let it go. I eventually went to Tufts Cranofacial and the specialist there looked at my guard and said it was awfully unstable and rocking. He didnt let me wear that and made me something new. The damage was already done because a year later my bite is still off and I have to wear a day guard multiple times a day to reduce the pain. Please let me know if I am not clear enough in my story.TLDR;Nightguard was improperly aligned - experienced extreme pain one night and the next day my bite was misaligned. I have the bite models to prove it.

Where do I begin Dr. Guo is incredible. I was looking around for a dentist in the Brookline area and happened to find OG Dental Group. When you first walk in you fill out a questionnaire which Dr. Guo goes through with you to ensure that she is aware of any pertinent information. Then after my x-rays, Dr. Guo showed me the images on the screen and explained everything to me. Its very difficult to sum up my experiences because I have so many great ones. I used to hate going to dentist but now I actually look forward to it. Dr. Guo is very kind, personable, and professional. I have moved across the country but refuse to get another dentist so I wait until I am in the Boston area to have my teeth cleaned. I would highly recommend OG Dental Group. From the many dentists that I have frequented this is certainly my prime choice.
