İ need to find a new gym. The quality of this gym has gone downhill significantly. İ had a membership here years ago so when i moved back to Milwaukee, i wanted to come back here. But its been terrible. There have been times when Ive tried to get help at the front desk and theres absolutely nobody to help me. You can try calling and still no answer. And there have been other times when theres ten people behind the front desk, and when you have a question, most people just say, idk. Not even, idk but let me find someone who does. Or they just default to saying we dont have this when in fact, they do. İts frustrating. Not going to call them on the phone anymore either bc sometimes they can be rude on the phone with abruptly hanging up on you. İ know covid has hit many businesses with the quality of workers, but i think Ill just find a better gym, even if that means paying a little bit more monthly.

My experience had been wonderful from day one. Mike, one of the managers was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Also my personal trainer is great! He shares knowledge of equipment and has a great personality. I know he is going to push me out of my comfort zone but that’s what I need!

Gym is massive and no matter how many people are working out there will be equipment open to use. Pool length is 25m and saltwater. Workers are nice and things are pretty clean

I was a client at xperience fitness for about 8 months.At first it was fine, but after awhile my trainer would put me in group classes (when the trainer who was supposed to be leading that class failed to show up) and then she would count that towards my personal training sessions.On days she was busy the training would only last for about 20 mins, for a session I paid about $50 for.I never signed contracts, she just kept charging my card and then asking if it was okay. She then asked if she could charge my card twice in one month for a few hundred dollars of personal training because she wanted to appear higher on the score board for personal trainers. I said yes and then came back a bit later and said I wasn’t comfortable with it, but she did it anyway.She would also make fun of other people at the gym while we were training together and it created a really uncomfortable environment for me to work in.

Its a fine gym. Nothing to really cheer about. It is relatively clean. They have all the equipment you could want. I dont usually have to wait for equipment except for dumbells.The roof must be a mess because you end up with a river in the locker room when it rains. Other than that, the staff is pleasant.

Apparently you don’t have to wear a mask here? Some of the staff even doesnt. They have no one walking around to make sure People are wearing masks, people just walk in without them. And if they don’t wear a mask they definitely don’t Wipe down equipment. I go everyday, and I love going to the gym and I used to love this location because they were very on top of things & now I have to stop going because I don’t want to risk my loved ones health with people just not caring to do the simplest things.

Inconsistent billing practices. Has been overcharging me since I joined with a new excuse every single month. They lie to your face to get you to go away. They make used car salesmen look honest. But the location is good, else I’d give zero stars.

I am incredibly disappointed to have to be writing this review.Xperience Fitness has been my gym for the past four years now. I have appreciated a lot that the gym has to offer. The startup cost, the monthly fee, the hours, and the amount of equipment are all serviceable. However, there is one fatal flaw.I have found the customer service to be absolutely horrendous.After discovering that I had been fraudulently charged over $800 over the course of several months, I reached out to my local gym here in Brookfield. It was incredibly difficult to get through to the gym manager, Tony Yera. When I did finally get in touch with him, there seemed to be no urgency, little effort, and little care even though hundreds and hundreds of my dollars were in jeopardy. Finally, I got in touch with Zack S. at corporate who immediately offered his assistance. Unfortunately, that assistance has not paid off. Here I am THREE MONTHS after discovering these fraudulent charges and although Ive been promised that I would receive my refund by 4/15/21, I have received nothing. Whats more, is that I am now being ghosted by Zack, who was at first helpful, and I cannot get a hold of anyone at corporate to help me solve this predicament.TLDR: Xperience Fitness made a mistake and owes me over $800. Their customer service has been abysmal, Ive been lied to and led on, and after three months of struggle, I have still not received my promised refund.

This gym is cool when it comes to getting your workouts in especially if the location is convenient.I dont trust ppl in general so Id say take a Fanny pack or small backpack to keep on your person. As I saw a prior review about locker issues. I have not had a locker issue but just be safer than srry later...Do not use a personal trainer...I needed to cancel for awhile due to finances and somehow my trainer forgets to remove the next charge but could quickly take my info to get the money and question my payments but when it came to quitting, you will be charged and it will take a month possibly longer if at all to get your funds back. Due to what they call company refund minimum.This charge is worth a bill or a nice grocery receipt to Pick n Save!!!I so badly want to quit them as they are making me suffer at the expense of the company!!! Why should my money be held up, while they continue to take my membership money on time!!!

Just went for a visit after nearly a year away. No staff doing rounds and about half of those there were not wearing masks. I only went back because Ive got the vax but its lax requirements that are keeping this pandemic going. I think it might be time to find a more responsible gym.

Today I cancelled my membership because Megan aka Karen was all in my business about my friend and I working out together. She lied and told her manager MARK that hed been training me for weeks which was not true. Ive only been to the gym twice with him. So the issue is that they saying he cant train me OK cool. Me and my friend were there for an hour and Mark said hed been watching me train for 10 minutes. Not knowing weve had worked out together already. Anyway Ive never seen a policy there saying NO Freelance training but I have seen other members helping/training at that location with no issues. Megan aka Karen is being a hater & leaves her clients (thats paying her ) unattended to be in other peoples business & I dont recommend this location if you like working out with friends.OH!! Then Mark said we cant do that because I can get hurt and blame the gym but if Im working out by myself and I get hurt then what? Overall bad experience and we both were paying members with our own membership.Go somewhere else where your not harassed by the staff for WORKING OUT!

I’m not going to give one star because I don’t know what the gym is like, but I didn’t bother to sign up. I decided to go with a different gym because the prices were way better, and when I told this to the person trying to get me to sign up, in attempts to try to keep my business they quickly asked me how I felt about masks, so I just asked “why? Do I not have to wear one?” And they said “no you don’t have to, where as the other place you do.” I proceed to let them know I will be wearing a mask because of the times we are in and then they switched up trying to save themselves by saying “well we only do it for people who have medical conditions.” Well I never said I had one so??? I understand it’s hard to wear masks but I don’t want to be responsible for someone else’s death if they get it from me. No thank you

I absolutely love the classes, like yoga and aqua zumba. Perfect for people wanted to expand their horizons for workouts. The instructors are wonderful. There is a lot of equipment so you have many choices for workouts as well.

Charged me for the annual membership fee and then immediately charged me a service charge and late fees because they claimed they had issues charging my card. After I requested to cancel my membership due to these bogus charges, they charged my card again for the month. ~$70 in charges in 2021 so far without even being able to step into the gym. Been a member for several years - the least they could have done would be to help me straighten out the card issue instead of immediately charging bogus late fees and service charges. Very unprofessional

The sign says everyone must wear a mask but few do and the staff does NOTHING but make excuses. They say anyone can fill out a waiver but they don’t require it so if you have any concerns, you’re told not to attend (while the mask-less are welcome.)

Not happy with the fact that the Brookfield location keeps limiting their hours. Some people have to work all day and have activity with their kids at night during the week so their only time to work out is early in the morning. 5am is not an acceptable time to open during the week. It needs to be earlier. Also with COVID, restricting hours means more people in the gym at the same time. SMH

Can someone tell me why there is literally no one EVER at the front???? all of your employees are immature, high schoolers who can look at a chick walking past, check her out and ignore the person standing in front of them. this place has THE WORST customer service EVER. no employee ever wears their mask correctly, no one ever answers the phone, I have never seen a manager there, ever. it is so frustrating.

I’ve been working out here for 4 weeks at the Brookfield location on 124th and Capitol. Here are my impressions:I’ve never had an issue with it being too busy and being able to do what I need to, even when coming during the busy time between 4 and 6. Sometimes the free weights and barbells get filled but it’s usually a short wait. It’s always clean in both the workout center and in the locker room.Kids Club: this is an awesome service and is very reasonably priced at $10/month. I’ve been happy with the workers, they seem interactive and genuine with the kids. However, I do have some safety concerns. And these apply mostly to children under 3. First of all, they do not make sure you check your key fob in when dropping off your children. Also when picking them up, they have a very casual pick-up safety policy. They keep the same workers on the entire shift so that they remember who picks up and who drops off. It happened once that I dropped off my kid with one worker and pick them up with another, but it could have been the other worker was gone for a moment. However humans make errors and I think it would be easy to implement a simple number-match-check-in system to reduce chance for error. My church nursery has better security. The longer I attend there the more they will recognize me and my kid, but it’s not reassuring for the newcomer.

I Absolutely Love this gym, the staff are friendly and very respectful. The team that welcomed me in, Mike, Alyssa and Madison. Mike signed me up excellent personality friendly and he showed me around the place, told me about the great deals. Alyssa is a awesome coach, she gave me a deal I couldn’t say no to, I love her classes very intense. Madison is always so friendly when she welcomesme coming and going. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I thank my son Uriah/Fred for introducing me to this perfect for me gym.

Froze my account due to COVID. XF continued to charge my account. Ive been unable to get in contact with someone in months. Now I am receiving emails that I owe money before I can unfreeze my account? I still havent been able to speak to anyone. No one has returned my calls or emails! Leaving a number that doesnt return call isnt very helpful. My account was charged $10 in addition to the annual fee and no one was available to tell me why. Now I owe over $130. BIGGEST SCAM EVER!FOLLOW UP- Come to find out my daughters kids club was never froze along with mine when I sent the email months ago. Therefore her account was charged in ERROR. I made many attempts to speak to someone and no one has ever returned my calls since. In result, I contacted my bank to stop all payments. Now that I attempting to unfreeze our accounts it can’t be done due to a balance owed on her account. I stopped into the Brookfield location 10/5/20 and Tony was absolutely NO help. He visibly sat at is desk relaying messages back in forth thru an associate. In fact, He refused to call Zachary his manager stating that he needed to train a new hire instead. Nobody in charge can resolve this ongoing issue. VERY POOR AND PATHETIC MANAGEMENTMaybe the Response from the owner is an actual person that can help????????????

The gym itself seems fine, but they have a MAJOR THEFT PROBLEM in the locker rooms. Today was my first day at this gym and my lock (which I bought just today) was clipped while working out, and my cash stolen out of my wallet from my locker. We filed a police report and the officer said this was the 4th time they had been called there in the last two weeks for locker room theft. Dont trust your belongings in this place!

I went in to setup a new membership at the one off of 70th greenfield. the girl at the front desk was acting like she was scared to talk. I told her I would like to apply for a new membership she had me sign in and I was waiting to be seen. I waited about five minutes she said she called back there but no one was answering the phone but I can leave my name and number and someone to sign me up over the phone. I said I would like to talk to someone so I waited about another five minutes there were people sitting over by the desk she walked over there but didn’t say anything to anybody and walk back to the front desk and just stood there. So finally I got tired of waiting and said I will go somewhere else. Would like to sign up because it close to my house but first impression was really bad.

What is happening to my gym? machines that dont work, paper towels that wont tear off, limited cleaning, TVs that dont work. spectrum gets free advertising at the gym but also is advertising their poor service as many of the TVs dont work or play the same programs. Took a tour of the gym. Clean gym alot of machines to use, not crowded even during their peak time. The prices for their gym was reasonable. Yolanda give me a tour and she was awesome and very informative. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

I had an amazing experience today morning with Michael B .who helped my husband join the gym hassel free and all the paperwork done so efficiently and promptly. Its worth what you pay! Theres a certain type of gym you get for $10-20 a month. Its a great gym if youre a beginner or average gym goer, however if youre an avid gym user you find things like the pull-up bars are terrible, the good rowers you cant use unless you pay an extra 90 a month for their classes, and the good kettlebells and TRX are only in the training areas.If you just want to do cardio and or lift its great.One really big positive:If you are into Olympic lifts; clean/snatch ECT. they have 2 platforms with bumper plates which is awesome!

I walked in without a appointment scheduled and they were so kind about it, they had me fill out a form and wait just a bit till someone could help me with my membership set up. The process was quick easy and everyone was very understanding and informative. The gym is clean, friendly and surprisingly smells fresh! Great place to get your workout done. They offer wide variety of classes available throughout a day, many different machines, most of locations have a pool. Staff is always friendly and helpful if you need any assistance. I recommend it if you want to get the value for the price!

This is by far the best Xperience location I have been to. The staff and trainers are always friendly and helpful! It is the largest location in the Milwaukee area that I find to be the cleanest and there is always room/machines open to complete your workouts even during peak hours.

One of my favorite gym environments, I came to town for a business trip and to stay on pace with my workouts I was referred to Xperience Fitness. Great equipment, had everything I wanted (free weights/machines) and also a pool that I could swim some laps and get in my cardio. After I finished my workout I was pleasantly surprised to end it off with a 20 minute session in their sauna. Very friendly and helpful staff, you can see they take pride in keeping the building and equipment clean. I plan on getting a membership here when I move here in a month.

I just signed up for my membership at the end of last month. So far, its pretty good. My husband and I was able to get my brother as one of our VIP guest for a month (because he wasnt sure if he wanted to sign up for the membership yet). This was a great advantage because he get to experience the gym for a month and see if its something hell want.We usually visit the gym in the evening because we work. It usually get crowded (and hard to find parking) in the evening around 4pm-7pm. Classes offered in the evening during 4pm-7pm are usually get fill quickly or super pack.

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FROM WHEN I FIRST WALKED IN TO THE TIME I LEFT! Was met with a big smile and friendly hello from the workers at the front desk. There are a wide variety of machines to workout on, no judgement or anything from anyone in there. Everyone is friendly and willing to give tips or more than happy to help spot you when needed. The locker rooms and pool are top notch very clean which is hard to do for some gyms because they focus more on the outside. 10/10 would be back and highly recommend working out thereAlso the kids club is such a great environment my kids love it there and fight me when it’s time to come home because they want to say. Laura and Ashley do such a great job back there and never fail to put a smile on me and my children’s faces! 5 stars hands down !!!

Nice place to work out. Slightly deceiving though, after I joined they asked to sit down and go over how to develop a work out plan and evaluate your ability with a workout. Instead it was a sales pitch about spending over $1000 to get these things and didn’t even work out. Waste of an hour and didn’t even get to work out. I understand it’s a business but at least be honest about what the meeting is about and don’t waste my time.

I have been a member for years with the Brookfield location. Im totally unhappy with this facility. The air conditioner has not worked since the beginning of June. Its almost August and the air conditioner is still not working. I have called corporate on several occasions to find out the status. All I get is the run around with different dates and the part is being shipped from Mexico. This is totally unacceptable you can deduct your monthly membership fees, so whats the problem with getting the air conditioner up an running. The paper towel dispensers and the sanitizer is always empty. But have a full staff on duty explain that! The reason you can utilize a machine because its too HOT and dont tell me to utilize another facility. I selected this one because its close to my house. Poor customer service!!! Please feel free to have management at corporate look me up and give me call and give me full credit.

Sadly, I had to leave this gym after a horrible few interactions with their lead Q instructor, Alyssa Christianson. Prior, I had been a member for 6 years. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional and straight out rude she was when asking questions about Q. Another trainer at that location actually came up to me afterwards and apologized for her behavior. Would not recommend joining Q at this location.

I was told I could take someone to classes on the platinum membership before I signed up, but after I signed up I was told that was the incorrect information. You can’t take someone to classes that come with you. Their membership is like the basic membership. I love the exercise and classes though.

Overall, I am pleased. Its a good experience for the cheap price. The machines seem to always be in working order, and there are plenty to choose from. There are endless treadmills. The weight room has many machines and plenty of benches. Its not that clean, but not filthy. The locker rooms stink, are are also only somewhat clean. I have never used the pool but it looks very clean and new. The staff is friendly when you talk to them, but they will not say hello when you enter, and often there are not any at the front desk at all.

Dec 2017: I enjoy this location but my gripe is with the cleanliness (lack thereof) and machines being out of order. Most of the staff will sit on their phones or at the computer clicking around instead of picking up/restocking towels or maintaining the locker rooms. This week alone, Ive seen the same water bottle on top of the lockers in the mens room for 3 days. That tells me flat out that things arent being cleaned.Update Feb 218: seen the same gallon jug with water for 4days without being thrown out. Also no response from ownership on the cleanliness, so that tells you plenty.

Good value for money, and convenient hours. Above all, great customer service! After 3 months of signing up, I realized that I could no longer get to the gym and asked to cancel my membership. After a confusing talk with one of the staff members, I was reassured that my membership had been cancelled. However, I recently noticed that I was still being charged monthly. Having seen all the negative reviews on several websites, I was convinced that I would have a hard time resolving the issue and getting a refund. To my pleasant surprise, however, I got a response almost immediately after I contacted customer services via email, and was reimbursed right away! Thank you for a hassle-free turnout of events.

I was a member there for two years and when I tried to leave even though I was working 60 to 80 hours a week they still wanted me to come in to fill out paperwork and even after I got in touch with the corporate office they still gave me the huge run around and it still took them a while to process my paperwork and even asking to never being disturbed by then again I got another message And as I was trying to figure out why I was getting those messages to make sure I was never contacted again I got hung up on twice worst time ever never know there is not worth the money

I currently have a membership at Xperience, which quite frankly if I hadnt needed to cut some things in my budget I would have walked out during the orientation. The gentleman who gave me a tour was great. I specifically asked that they do no approach me about training. I have been in shape before and dont need it. So we make it through the entire thing and after I sign up he has a trainer come talk to me. Now here is where they fail in Brookfield. The trainer was arrogant and a complete air head right off the bat. He had little to no soft skills and clearly has not been working with people long. When I told him I was working with a trainer (several times) at an outside location he stated oh well are you getting the fat loss results you want...clearly Im not in good shape but sir unless you are going to come home with me and take pizza out of my hand you cannot help me unless I follow the plan myself. He would not shut up or leave, I finally had to basically tell him I am not and will not be interested in his services, I had to lie and take his card just to get his arrogant self to leave. The kicker is he had horrible skin...clearly not eating right Mr Trainer- so if you want stuck up staff and half ass amenities this place is for you

I am currently a member at Planetfitness and wanted to try out Xperience for a few days because I heard they have more free weights and was thinking about switching. I looked online and they have a free day pass for trying out so I walked in and spoke with a young lady name Jessica. She said they do not offer free day pass and that was only a promotion and that I had to pay $15 for three days to try out. I went back to my car and called them and they still offer a free day pass. I was confused and walked back in to speak with her to tell her about the situation. She then gave me an attitude and falsely accused me of already using their free day pass which I never stated. All she had to do was check my ID and their database to see if I had ever been there. But apparently that was too much work. After all the trouble, she let me in. The place was great and I enjoyed all the equipment but this lady just ruined it for me. False assumptions and bad attitude will get you no where in life.
