Extremely dissatisfied with this agency. I have been working on getting my son into ABA therapy for 2 years. Several other agencies either could not help due to various reasons or had very long wait lists. When I finally reached out to In Bloom, I was told they do not operate like the other agencies and HAVE NO WAIT LISTS. I jumped through all of their hoops, sent in what was needed only to find out my commercial ins did not cover ABA therapy. I then went through all of the hoops of applying for state ins which was again, submitting tons of documents. My son was finally approved. I reached out to In Bloom to notify them. I was then called by Gail whom I had been working with for months letting me know they received all of the necessary documents, however they were at a stand still at this point DUE TO COVID-19. I was told they were thinking I would contacted sometime in September to get the ball rolling. I gave them until September 14th and sent out an email asking for status with no response, 2 days later (today) I call and was told no ABA providers are accepting state insurance at this time. I was also told I had been told this already. Which I had most definitely not. A supervisor Melissa then spoke to me, continuously telling me what I was told due to documentation by Gail. I wanted to speak to a supervisor to voice my frustration on not ever being told the information that no ABA providers were accepting state ins but only to continuously be told I was informed of this info already. Why would I lie about such a thing? Why would I be waiting for MONTHS for contact? I do not want a response mentioning that In Bloom is not responsible for the entire state of WI ABA providers not accepting state ins. Im well aware of this. I will say again, Im frustrated at the lack of communication, all around. In Bloom got my hopes up, I finally saw a light at the end of my 2 YEAR STRUGGLE only to be let down yet again. I will continue to tell EVERYONE I know about In Bloom and the horrible experience Ive been through including the numerous Autism groups I belong to. I also want to mention the adorable 4 year old boy you and the Healthcare system continue to let down. Thank you for NOTHING.

You dont know what you got till its gone. I knew that InBloom was amazing when my son was enrolled in services but until moving across the country and trying to find services half as good I didnt realize how rare their approach was.I miss my sons team from InBloom more than anything from back home and I am sure he does too. His BCBA took the time to get to know my son and his specific needs as well as tailoring his plan to meet him where he was at. She gave each RBT on his team the best advice and guidance to motivate my son to meet his goals. All the staff was so attentive to each other and to my little man and made every effort to accommodate his sensory needs. He never even realized how hard he was working because this company truly knows how to adapt to suit their friends. (Clients)That right there is what I wish more people in this line of work would do. Instead of forcing my son to adapt to how they wanted things, they did the adapting to teach him the skills he needs.

We are relatively new clients of In Bloom Autism Services and we have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the services provided here. From the beginning of our journey through the world of navigating services for our son, we have been met with kindness, compassion, and prompt service. We were easily able to make appointments at In Bloom to have the ADOS administered to our son, in order to have a diagnosis of autism given. When it came time to begin therapy, everyone at In Bloom was extremely accommodating to all of our family’s needs. Between offering therapy at the clinic, in our home, or at our son’s school, In Bloom has been willing to work with our family’s schedule and help us meet our son’s needs. All of the services provided to our son have been specifically designed for him, to begin at his current level of functioning and guide him forward toward his intended outcomes. Although the journey of parenting a child with autism can sometimes be scary and unknown, the knowledgeable and compassionate staff at In Bloom have been nothing less than wonderful in supporting our son and us, as parents. They have made this journey not only endurable, but enjoyable! Do something today that your future self will thank you for…contact In Bloom Autism Services and start blooming!

Refuses to work with certain insurance plans. Utilizes discriminatory practices that intentionally targets lower income families from the inner cities. Appalling practice especially today given outcry for equal access to care to all families especially families of color

My daughter has been with inbloom since September of this year. She has made so much progress. She is four years old and nonverbal. She can now repeat words, make her needs known via communication device, and can even identify people. All the staff are absolutely wonderful. My daughter has therapy 8 hours a day for five days a week, and when I leave her at the center each day I know that she is in good hands. I highly recommend inbloom to anyone seeking ABA services.

I can confirm what the poster said about InBloom is true. When my son was diagnosed with autism, InBloom was one of the places we were referred to because they were one of the few ABA providers to offer center based services. When we reached out to them, we were told that they did not accept Medicaid (insurance for low income families), my friend who has an Anthem plan were told the same. Regarding owners response below around reimbursement rates, it is all lies. I did some research following the rejection, since Medicaid reimbursement rates are public - and found that for the service it pays $38 per hour at a minimum. I then looked on a job website to see that therapists there are only paid $15 - $20 per hour - meaning the company is making very high margins. I asked around and found out that the reason why they do this is because there are long waitlists everywhere for ABA services, so InBloom is able to cherry pick their clients based on which insurance plan can pay the most. I have documented all of our interactions with InBloom - and have detailed accounts of their shady practices.

Our son (and family) has been learning with InBloom since August 2018. We interviewed several providers before finding InBloom and were immediately impressed with their professionalism, scheduling experience and the level of education their staff (both RBTs and BCBAs) possess. In close to 18 months there has been minimal staff turn over. We have been involved since day one in parent trainings and frequent parent meetings to discuss programming, progress as well as discussing challenges with behaviors and next steps.I could not imagine working with a different provider. The staff at InBloom is extremely educated, knowledgeable and always approachable and very receptive to our familys input.InBloom has quite simply changed the quality of our familys life. Our InBloom team loves our son and meets him where he is while stretching his abilities. Our son is celebrated as an individual and programming is designed specifically for him and his unique needs.I am thankful every day for InBloom Autism Services and how their work with our son has changed the quality of our entire familys life!
