I took with my 8 year old grandson we enjoyed our visit very much. The military veterans on hand added to our visit and a retired pilot even gave my grandson a lesson at the flight simulator. Now That was really nice and unexpected, My grandson loved it! Thank you to all veterans for your service. Yes I would go again.

Stop here and learn more about the heroes who paid for this country free and clear...They paid the debt to tyrrany with sacrifice of time away from their families, mental scars forever, and all too often their lives.Thank you for this iconic place!!

We were offered 3 choices today: 1. To walk around the museum on our own, 2. Use our mobile phones for a self-guided audio tour, or 3. A personal tour given by a volunteer. We really enjoyed all the displays, but we especially appreciated learning some of Oklahomas history of military service from our tour guide, Michael. It was an afternoon well-spent

My parent brought me out here, it was an hour drive but well worth it. The staff are all veterans with many stories to tell, and the exhibits are all amazing to look at. Don’t let the size of the building fool you, this place is full of artifacts and items from the war of independence to Afghanistan. You could spend hours here looking at everything inside, and they have a couple of memorials outside the building as well.

The museum artifacts are interesting and great, however, what makes this museum out of this world are the Veterans that man it and share their stories, conduct tours, and share stories of their favorite pieces. They dont rush you thru or hurry you along there is a passion that is felt. I will be going back for the flight simulator. All wars are represented from the Revolutionary to the Afghan war. Local heroes and sheroes are honored and there is a special exhibit for the Native Americans contributions. The knowledge in the Veterans is more than a learning experience. It is sad, happy, heartfelt, honest and they are men of patience with much integrity. A MUST SEE.

This is an awesome place to visit! Plan to spend at least 1 1/2 hrs here. Mr. Mike, our guide, was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He and all the men that work or volunteer here are veterans themselves and take pride in showing you around the museum. My 10 y/o son had a wonderful time looking at all the model planes and ships. Visit this enthusiastic group of guys... You will not regret it!

I brought here my 10 years old son which he has a very important passion for History and in particular WWII and Military history in general. The museum was his perfect place! They have great collections, lovely disposal and mostly we got the opportunity to talk with the Veterans that were at the museum. This part was the best!!!! We will definitely go back! They have a beautiful library too. Go bring your family there to meet people who made the History!!!!!

One of the greatest dangers to History is the absence of recognition. Today most children growing up have no idea what the price was and still is for our freedom. At this museum we have a wonderful reminder of the cost and pride of both victory and loss; loss of life.A child who enters into this museum will come to understand both the tears and the respect these men and women shed and earned. That child will see physical evidence of our past; a past often denied by today scholarly textbooks.Show your respect to our Veterans by visiting the Military History Museum and discover how and why freedom is never free.
