I have gotten my hair trimmed here before and they did a good job, so I returned again. The front staff and stylist were friendly and the establishment was clean and tidy.But they botched this perm...I spoke with the stylist for at least 20 mins upon arrival, going into extensive detail and discussion on what I wanted. She told me what was available/applicable for my hair type and the method she was going to use to accomplish that, and I agreed. The appointment proceed well, I thought.I followed all of her after care instructions (no washing, no brushing, finger-combing only, dont tie it up tight, etc.).Most of the perm didnt even last 24 hours. The parts that did were different curl sizes and patchy throughout my hair. I spoke with them and sent pictures of my hair.They only refunded me half the cost of the perm (I suppose because the patchy parts remained).The stylists are nice but I wont be returning.Photos of it at the salon and immediately after, and pictures less than 24hrs later.

I have been a client at AfterFX for 14 years! They are amazing in everything they do. The staff goes above and beyond to insure every client is satisfied. My whole family gets their haircuts here and we are always pleased with the style and service we receive. There products are top of the line and the staff is very well trained in the latest trends!

After 2 years of pandemic hair I was desperate for someone to save my hair from falling out any more than it already had. Bailey to the rescue! She restored my hair to healthy and shiny plus gave it beautiful color and a fresh cut. I will never trust anyone else with my hair again. 5 🌟!

She has also cut my daughters hair all of their lives & my husband uses her as well. She fixed hair for the bridesmaids at my oldest daughter’s wedding & they all looked beautiful! Trey did a wash cut and style with my hair. And let me tell you, that man is incredibly talented. He knows his stuff and he obviously LOVES what he does! This was my first visit and I was so nervous because Im superrrr picky on how my hair is done. I let him know how I like to style my hair and how my bangs HAVE to go. He not only killed it, but went above and beyond what I even expected! He gave a couple ideas of different things to do with the layers and I told him to go for it and Im SO glad he did!!! I left a different girl and felt so beautiful. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. Im just so glad I found this salon and Trey! I cant wait for my next appointment!

She does a wide range of color from natural to fashion colors, and is very methodical about the process. I would have to say my favorite thing about Julie is her energy. I highly recommend Emily! Not only did she do a great job on my balayage but she was very professional and took the time to ask a budget I wanted to stay under and look at a few pictures I wanted my hair to look like. She did so good! I love it!! I have a lot of hair, very thick and long and she even stayed an hour and a half later than she was supposed to be there to do the best job she could and even style for me. Very friendly and genuinely cares about her clients and the overall finished product of their hair. The salon was clean and all staff was friendly. I will definitely be back!

Cant follow directions, I have very long hair that was cut horrible. Will take years of growth to fix. Asked with picture for platinum blonde chucky highlights, got very thin tan highlights. Color change was barely noticeable. My daughter also wanted highlights of the same, her hair was not even close to the color she asked for either. $220 to look almost the same, with bad cut! Having to order extensions to fill in his poor cutting. BUT He had good highlights technique, just bad coloring and not listening to what we asked for! Will not ever go back.

This was the best hair experience I have every had. Emily was the stylist they assigned to me. I came in with a style in mind and Long hair to cut. Needles to say I was nervous. Emily killed it !! Im beyond happy with the results.

Did not recognize the service requested. Staff was unprofessional with expired license. I over looked the fact the color wasn’t what I asked for and that she cut way more off than I asked for until I noticed the chemical burn on my neck. I notified Jennifer management and still have yet to receive call back with so much as an apology. Very poor customer service.

Love my hair color and how lively my hair is now. The staff is do nice and there is a nice calming atmosphere. My hair is absolutely beautiful. things I dont like was it cost more than I was quoted and for the price I paid I do not feel like my face and head should of been stained as it was. I also spent 5 hrs there. I will definitely go back just be more assertive.

If I rate 0 stars I would. I was told when I had made the appointment to dye my hair it would be $65 and when I had ASKED how much it would be she told me $183!! I had virgin medium brown hair before I got it dyed by Emily. I wanted dark blue roots with purple highlights at the ends. And the results came out to be edges undyed, bleached, and blue. The top of my head was green and the blues were not the right blue I wanted. She told me she would call me 1-2 days after the hair dye came in and it’s been over a week that I haven’t received any call. I’ve now took it into my own hands and dyed my own hair.

Ive got my eyebrows waxed here twice; the first time was fineJenny Ellinger did my eyebrows the second time and was incredibly thorough. She went above and beyond what stylists have done for me and got all my peach fuzz around my eyebrows.I will be only going through her now!

I came in yesterday as a first time customer and I LOVE the salon. Callie was my stylist and she was so thorough and attentive to what I wanted. She paid attention to every detail, made sure I was happy during every step of the cut, and even made sure to explain to me all the products she was using and why and took the time to educate me on how to keep my hair healthier. Not to mention she was a blast to converse with. My hair turned out exactly like I wanted it and I love it. The salon itself is super clean and very cute. Definitely a return customer.

Jordan is the best hairstylist I have EVER had. Ive been going to her for about 2 years now and will not go anywhere else for as long as shes cutting hair! The whole place has a very fun, friend filled and local artsy vibe to it.

I went to this salon for the second time yesterday. The first time was just for an eyebrow wax. That visit went really well so I figured i would try them for my color. I have dark brown hair and wanted to get an ombre down to pastel pink. So i had to bleach first and then color. My stylist was really sweet but I kind of felt swayed into going with a bit darker shade. For longevity and so that it wouldnt potentially look peach. I was okay with having the transition a darker color but wanted the rest to be pastel pink. I also got a trim while i was there as she suggested it. After the trim, which was about 1 to 2 inches I realized that that 1 to 2 inches cost me $34.00. My hair ended up coming out more of a purplish color into dark pastel pink at the very ends. I did enjoy the overall experience but left feeling kind of defeated as i had just spent $250.00 on something that wasnt what i had intended or asked for.

I came for a simple haircut from Emily and it was amazing! Great environment, professional employees, I’ve been going back to Emily since day one and haven’t had a bad experience yet!

Mano is the Best massage therapist in the area! I sit at a desk all day, and I used to have shooting back pain until I started going to him for massages. Now thats never a problem! Ive had other athletic injuries, and he was able to get me back to my usual routine. I am VERY thankful that we have his talent in our city, we are so lucky to have him.

I’ve never had my colored, but I’m thinking I’m going to do some color now that I’ve found a stylist and salon that I can trust!

Im giving 5 stars for the fact that they do their best , and are friendly. I had a perm done but bcuz my hairs been bleached in the past it didnt take 😩 super sad about it. I had a nice experience tho im sure it wouldve been lovely had i not had damaged hair.

Had a great experience with Mano. I was very fortunate to even be able to get my massage from him cause I know he stays booked on a weekly basis. However, he was kind enough to fit me in between clients. He is a true technician at his craft and is extremely professional. My body feels 10 yrs younger now. I cant wait to get my next massage from him. I just hope hes able to fit me in to his ridiculously busy schedule again.

BALAYAGE GONE BAD! I went for a cut and a balayage hair color. It’s a big deal for me to get my hair colored and unfortunately I am left with orange/bright yellow hair, roots that don’t blend, and stripes. My hair cut was good so that’s why I’ll give it 2 stars! I think some stylist there are really good at coloring, but I good put with a stylist who was not.

I came in to get A haircut. After losing my hair due to A perm going horribly wrong. I was paired with Heather. Heather was very professional and welcoming. After seating me she asked A myriad of questions about what had happened, what I wanted to do and my hairs history etc. Even during her services making sure I felt comfortable. A sharp howl pierced the airways & 1 response rang through. FX responded saying you have 10 minutes to negotiate a treaty between the gas guzzler & our distance. Alas! The battlefield was thick, bushy & untamed but FX smoothed, plucked & ripped away the blend where two were becoming one. The wolves retreated to their respective countries, formed unions of their own in perfectly fine curves, & agreed to accept mediation from only FX with future disagreements. In other words...I got my eye brows arched (wax), they did an amazing & quick job & Im going back. No bushy uni-brow for me! 🐺

I have lived in Dallas, TX most of my life and recently moved near Broken Arrow, OK. I didnt think I would find anyone to replace my stylist that I had in Dallas but Bailey has passed all of my expectations and then some. When I first went in I was greeted by this bright, cheerful young lady that told me I cant wait to take care of you and are so glad you are here. We had a great consultation on what I was wanting done. Just listening to her and her other stylists, I know that they highly value staying educated on everything hair and it definitely shows in their work!!! After FX has such a cute environment and I always look forward to my time coming to see Bailey and her staff. I find myself using all of her services such as nails, massage, waxing and facials. Customer service is fantastic!!!

The receptionist has always been helpful when Ive stopped in for hair products that my wife has ran out of. Cant recommend this place enough!

I have gone to After FX for hair cutting and color since I was a teenager and I am now 37 and take my daughter here because I care about her hair. I trust all of the stylists, estheticians, I take my teenage son to get facials here as well. I have never had a bad experience here in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible experience. It has taken me over six months to grow out most of the mess that was made at this salon.Update to the owner: I gave the stylists three tries to fix my hair.One thing I didn’t mention before was this stylist was unprofessional. She talked to me about things you don’t tell a customer and asked me questions about my personal life.

I just wanted to make a review for this wonderful salon. I went in with an appointment with Heather I had a brassy orange color to my hair from coloring at home. She reassured me we would get it the color I wanted it, which was a lighter blonde after one visit it looked 10 times better and we are not even done yet I am going back in 6 weeks to keep going lighter and lighter, so I dont damage my hair but that was fine with me, especially considering my hair had already looked a lot better with the first round. I like that she made a plan with me and told me exactly everything she wanted to do to get to the hair color I wanted.

Called and made an appointment for a full foil with a senior stylist and was quoted $70 like their site stated for a full foil. Went in and showed the “senior” stylist the picture of how I wanted my hair cut, and a picture of the color that I wanted my foil to be. She asked me if I wanted to keep the current blonde highlights or color over them, I said keep them. So she started to foil the blonde that I already had. At this point I ask if she is a senior stylist, and she said “no I’m just a stylist, I’ve only been here for about a year”, then suddenly I felt extreme cold on the back of my neck and she was coloring the bottom half of my head.... too late to turn back now, but I know every stylist does their own thing so I don’t question it. Then she turns me around and I can see the mirror... my whole freaking head is red... I wanted FULL FOIL not COLOR, not to mention sloppily staining my skin all around my face... so now I have messy red dye framing my face. Then she didn’t even give me the hair cut that I wanted... I asked for a lob that was shorter in the back and tapered longer in the front.... she just gave me a straight lob, no taper, and I had to point out that it wasn’t even on the sides either when she said she was done. Then went to pay and she says $85, confused I tell her that I was quoted $70 for a full foil, then she said that she was charging me for color and a hair cut, I went on their site and looked up the price she gave me and it was indeed for a newbie stylist, and that the girl that booked me quoted me right for the full foil with a senior stylist. Not impressed at all and will not be going back, save your money and go elsewhere!

After reading the reviews I decided to try a new salon. I am highly disappointed and left in tears. I showed the stylist exactly what I wanted from my previous cuts and she gave me what I specifically told her I Did NOT want!. My bangs are uneven and way too short and now I have to go spend more money to get it fixed next week when salons are open again, but they still cant give me back the length. In fact Ill have to cut it shorter just to match the uneven parts. Im not sure if all stylist here are this way or just the ones that are extremely inexperienced

I came in after some color grabbed and made my roots too dark. After 4 visits over 4 months and almost $500.00 (on just coloring stripping etc.) my hair looks worse than when I went in. My long hair is auburn until the blackish ring around my head. Each time there were promises to fix it. Each time, it looked horrible afterwards. If you are unhappy they dont care, they wont move up an appointment or give any price reduction. Horrible place.

I made an appointment for a massage for myself and my wife. My wife went in for her appointment 9am. I had to cancel My 12 oclock. I called 2hrs before. It was a last minute family thing. I was told that next time id be charged a cancellation fee of $35, thats 60% of what the service costs ($60). That to me is poor business practice. I get it. $$$Thats part of business. However, the Masseuse doesnt travel or spend money. Relationships are more important. He may miss out on another customer but to charge 60% is outrageous. 10% of cost of service would be proper. Anyway, ive found a wonderful place, they actually care about healing you. All the masseuse are great. Its a place of healing the entire body. They dont believe in cancellation fees because its not JUST BUSINESS to them. You arent just another $$$..

I have been going to After FX for almost 10 years and have always been a happy customer!!! Covering my gray hair had been a science project at best. Bailey is always up for the task and as new Redkin products became available she made that project easier as the years have gone by. I always look forward to my appointment!! I have also had facials there and they have a full line of Murad skincare products as well as Redkin products. My husband goes there, as well, for massage. They also offer manicures and pedicures.
