I’m sure the therapist are nice. And I’m sure their goal is to help people. BUT the financial side of the business doesn’t care about you at all. I set myself an appointment, with the intentions of doing some more research before I committed to my appointment. And I made sure to let that be known. My appointment was coming up and I called to cancel. (Because there is definitely places out there that will work with my insurance and make the $$ side a little lighter) When I canceled my appointment, I was told that $100 would be charged to my account for a cancellation fee. Although that was never talked about in our initial phone call. I signed nothing. And I will pay nothing. Because they did NOTHING.

I met with Ashley numerous times for the past 4 months. I always felt wonderful after leaving my appointments with her. She gave me some great tools to help whenever I felt overwhelmed. Im a big fan and recommend her highly.

Breakthrough Counseling is an incredible source of guidance and encouragement. Linda is amazing and so professional and genuinely cares for each and every client! Her passion for her profession is extraordinary. She is saving lives and giving hope to lots of people that depend on her.

This office stands out in a crowd of counseling clinics. When you walk in, the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. They are professional and caring. I highly recommend seeking therapy here, you won’t regret it.

EMDR therapy with Linda gave me my life back, and has greatly benefited my marriage and family life! I have been dealing with anxiety and depression since I was a teenager. Trauma associated with the births of my four children exacerbated my symptoms to the point where I was constantly battling feelings of not being good enough. EMDR isn’t just talk therapy. I didn’t leave sessions just feeling better. I was different. The neural networks of my brain were different. I was able to fully process negative events in my past and link them to positive outcomes to build up a strong core belief that I AM good enough. More than. This type of therapy benefits those with big T trauma and little T trauma. Do it for yourself. You’re worth it!

I am very frustrated with Linda at Breakthrough Counseling. I have called and gone in in-person to discuss an overcharge. She owes me money. She would NOT come out of her office to meet me face to face. I even offered to sit in lobby until she came out. The secretary claimed Linda could NOT see me. I was told I needed to email her. I tried 3 times to explain my position to the secretary. She relayed the messages to Linda 3x. Linda WOULD NOT step out and discuss it with me face to face. I want my $240.00 back. And I will report to the BBB tomorrow.Have the decency to MEET WITH ME, Linda!

John R. Miller, LPC has excellent appointment availability. However, his sessions are only 45 min which are too short. In addition, he lists marital counseling as a major part of his profile. Our experience with marriage counseling with John was poor. His style of allowing non-refereed discussion allowed for no meaningful dialogue or goals of the 2 sessions we participated in. Also, he not only mentioned but seemingly emphasized that the possible outcome would be incompatibility and divorce. He was completely unable to foster connection or hope within our sessions. Overall an expensive and poor use of time that was much better spent with a different marriage counselor

The counselors are highly professional and committed to working alongside clients as they walk through their journey to healing.

I went to Breakthrough Counseling following a rough divorce and I would recommend the office to anyone. Its a beautiful office, the receptionist was very sweet and welcoming and my counselor helped me SO much. Im so happy I chose to go here after my divorce. 5 stars for sure!

Didn’t like my counselor. She wasn’t helpful at all. I stopped going. I needed help with my present life but apparently they just want to hook you up to machines and talk about your parents and life growing up. That wasn’t the issue

Called 23 hour ahead to cancel. Spent all the money i had saved up to help my marriage. She was fine with us seeing a new counselor 10 days later when i got paid..... i gave them a thousand dollars out of my own pocket..... thanks for nothing Dr. Greed

Im excited about the new location as the offices provide a sense of peace and well-being. The new environment is welcoming and gives off a feeling of acceptance and understanding.

HI THERE, I FILLED OUT THE NEW PATIENT FORM AND SUBMITTED IT ON THERE WEBSITE AND WAITED FOR THEM TO CONTACT ME TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. A WEEK GOES BY NOTHING. SO I CALL THEM THEM TAKE MY INFORMATION AND SAID WE WILL CALL YOU BACK. ANOTHER WEEK GOES BY NOTHING. GLAD I WASNT SUICIDAL OR ID BE DEAD RIGHT NOW. TRY TO REACH OUT TO GET HELP AND INSTEAD OF HELPING GET IGNORED.

The office is very nice, AND pricing is reasonable. Both the office manager and therapists are really professional!

The cancellation policy is quite horrid. They make you give your credit card info so that if you cancel within 23hrs and 59 min, they will charge you $100 for not giving ample time. News flash!! life happens sometimes.
