Took one of our children here for 2 visits. Really did nothing to help her. Then they were wrong on the billing. We we were originally told that they accepted our insurance but then sent us the bill and said they have no idea if insurance will pay for their services until they bill them and see if they pay. We have United Healthcare. We ended up paying their bill. Stay clear from this place. Unethical business practices

My daughters speech therapist is so nice and understanding, that my shy 2.5 year old already enjoys seeing and learning from. We have our 8 year old in occupational therapy there and it has been a wonderful experience! He is coming out of his shell, less shy, having a better time socializing with other kids/making friends, and trying new foods! I feel like we are getting more than I hoped for when we started even!My almost 2 year old daughter has begun physical therapy there too and I look forward to seeing the progress she will make!The staff there are all so sweet to the kids and so helpful and kind. It is a great place! We love it!

The therapists and administration go above and beyond for the children and their family members. My daughters have received undivided attention from their therapists and are always welcomed with a smile. The administration has always been very understanding and gone the extra mile to help coordinate schedules. You cant find anywhere better to find help for your children my children have progressed leaps and bounds.

My daughter comes here for ST & OT, & we are beyond thankful for the sunshine center! The therapists are all so amazing with my 2 year old & they have the patience of Saints! My 2 year old has come so far since they’ve been working with her and my family & I will forever be grateful! My daughter is always excited to come to her appointments and never wants to leave!

Friendly and attentive! Staff are helpful and understanding when you show up to the wrong clinic! My grandson is hearing impaired and the speech therapy is helping him to think about what he wants to say before speaking. He is doing really well. Behavioral Therapy provides useful tools for home so we are working together. We are definitely improving and appreciate that we have these services available at the Sunshine Center.

We LOVE the sunshine center! Their facility is much larger, cleaner & more organized than the last place we received services. Very thankful for the baby gates in the lobby! The PT building is separate from the main building where speech and OT take place. PT building doesn’t have baby gates but they have an area that is some what separate that you can contain your child in. They allowed me to tour the facility prior to scheduling if that’s something you want to do. Veronica & Shana are AMAZING, they are the front office clerks, both are so kind and willing to work with your schedule however crazy it may be! Comfy lobby chairs!! Therapist are top notch and are totally willing to send you home with ideaS to help your child excel. My son receives PT, OT & Speech and we have been coming since the end of 2018.

Volunteered here a while back, and I honestly learned so much. This place is full of cooperative professionals who know what they are doing. On top of that, everyone is very nice and courteous. Definitely a great place.

My son is 3 1/2 years old non verbal autistic and we have tried a few other therapy places and seen no results with our son and we brought him to the Sunshine Center and it was the best decision we ever made. Today was my last day working at the Sunshine Center. I have absolutely enjoyed and loved working there. The only reason I am leaving is because I am moving out of State. The staff is amazing and they have wonderful and caring therapists. My nephew Dylan has a great relationship with his therapists. It takes him so long to get comfortable with people and he really enjoys his sessions here. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. It is well worth the 50 mile drive we make every week.I would definitely recommend Tulsa Sunshine Center.

Great staff. From the therapists to the schedulers, everybody is helpful and always prompt. Have a question? They have the answer, but if on a rare occasion they dont, they will figure it out and get back with you. Great facility. Each therapist has their own room. They also have a gym and an outdoor playground. Therapists shown concern and consideration for each child. Im glad my child is able to have his therapy at this particular organization. They really care here at Tulsa Sunshine Center.

Beyond impressed with how far my daughter has come since starting with Mrs. Lauren and Mrs. Ella! The staff is incredible to work with, very sweet and helpful with our Tricare questions. My 4 year old son has been going here for about 2 years now and if it wasn’t for the amazing therapist at the tsc I’m not sure where he would be at now! They have done amazing work with him he’s now eating foods he wasn’t before can fully dress himself and has so many words!! I’m beyond thankful for this amazing place and all they do!! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to receive therapy for there kiddos!

I interned here over the summer and it was such a great experience. Lauren, one of the owners, is great!!! Her and her staff taught me so much and genuinely love their job and helping their patients. It was such a great experience there and I would definitely recommend taking your children there to get treated, you wont find a more knowledgeable, loving, caring group!

My kid has really made great improvements since coming here.***UPDATE***As much as I appreciate the services and how much they help the kids, the front office really needs to get it together.Our kid had his last session back in August right before school started, we advised them both in person and by phone that we would no longer be requiring their services as our child would be getting those services from his school. They are still sending me bills and harassing me for money for missed appointments, this is not only unacceptable but a terrible business practice. I will be following up with the BBB.

My daughters have received speech, occupational, and physical therapy here for over 3 years. I could not be more satisfied with the care they receive. We have noticed SO many improvements since beginning therapy here. The therapist are wonderful and truly care about the children, and dont treat it as a job to be done, but instead treat the therapy time as an opportunity to help the kids in every way possible. Support staff are always courteous, efficient, and professional. They also go the extra mile to make the kids in the waiting room feel special. I would not take my children anywhere else.

Pros: They are expanding to meet the needs of the children they serve. MOST of the therapists are nice and put in a lot of work to accomadate, care, and treat your child. They have extra events and groups to serve individuals in group settings. My oldest has been in a great social group that is meeting her needs and allowing for friendships that have continued outside of therapy. They go out of their way to provide for families in need during holidays or struggling times.Cons:They dont keep the same front staff for very long at all, so we are constantly having to get familiarized with the newest person. It seems like theres always someone in training for that position. We have had problems with one therapist, but Im pretty sure she was fired. I have been lied to before by the scheduler when they moved my sons appointment without notice and gave it to another kid. At the time I was told that the therapist needed to move her schedule around, but later found out that was a lie. And the other thing would be that when a staff leaves they dont allow the clients to be notified. So kids like mine, who are dependent upon keeping familiar people around have this abrupt detachment without even a notice thats its coming, this includes counseling services. Sometimes it feels like money and numbers are put above the children.

My son has been going to the sunshine center for almost 4 months now. He uses speech and OT. the therapists have taught him ways to improve as well as teaching me ways to help him and make me feel comfortable in the ways I help him learn and grow. He has gone from using 5 to over 15 words and can now do everyday tasks without a temper tantrum every 5 minutes. Its not a miracle cure but with their help we are well on our way to success!

My son has attended occupational, speech and behavioral therapy here and has shown great improvement! His therapists are friendly and knowledgeable!

Pros, great friendly staff that try hard to meet your needs as far as appointment setting and such. 3 of my children are in therapy and all of the therapists we have encountered are very friendly and helpful. I wouldnt ever think of going somewhere else.Cons, it can be hectic at times and difficult in the waiting are to entertain younger siblings especially when we are waiting for 2 hours. If I could change anything I would make that better for families. (which seems to be a work in progress)!The pros still outweigh the cons for me and it is important to have good relationships with therapists--for me thats the most important!

Therapist is very nice and professional. However, the front desk is truly unprofessional and lacks sense of customer service. The front office lady walked into the room in the middle of the therapy saying that the therapy was canceled, just like that. When I arrived to the office she said I had a balance and I told her I needed to talk to the billing department because we are switching insurance company. I wanted to make sure we process the bills with the right insurance before I pay out of my pocket. She said ok, you can sit and wait. The therapist came out for us and we started the therapy. And just like that the rude lady came in to say we have to cancel the appointment. I asked her why? is it because of the balance? and she said yes. I told her, heres my debit card! Whats wrong with you people? What kind of therapy facility are you that you go in and interrupt a session with a 5 year old kid? Very unprofessional! plus I feel insulted. I dont even know what I paid for. The receipt doesnt have any description on it. If you need this service, find a different facility.

The Tulsa Sunshine Center has been Amazing!! Several years ago we found out that our oldest has Autism. They have helped her with speech delay, sensory, fine motor, behavioral and so much more!My middle child also received Speech therapy and is now taking Occupational therapy as well.I will forever be greatful for all the help the therapists have given and continue to give my girls!! They truly care about my children!

My name is Reina. I was an employee for Tulsa Sunshine Center for 9 months. I was fired for this reason Reina we think you are not a good fit. After 9 months, really? I disagreed with them and asked for an example. Janice, the director of Operations just looked at Cassandra Fox for a reason.I still have no clear answer as to why I was let go. Cassandra was training me on a new system the afternoon before I was fired. I went above and beyond to help that company. I could handle my job load, if I was nltndping everyone elses job. The Google review under mine is by the name of Jenny Gray, Jenny Gray is not a parent there, in fact it was another front desk person pretending to be this Ms. Gray because the previous review was bashing the clinic. Cassandra, the front supervisor, knew the employee did it. Also Ive seen all of the current employees making nice reviews, Im sure its all a scam to make the clinic look better than what it is.The therapist and counselors love their jobs. The admin department has such a high turnover of employees. I really hope you do your research before choosing this place.

My 4yo autistic son with SPD is a client here. He has blossomed under the care of the therapists he loves so much. They always remember the areas he struggles with, encouraging him in both strengths and through weaknesses. He misses the center whenever we go out of town. After exhausting avenues of caring for him myself until I found the center, its been an incredible relief and true joy to know that I can completely trust his therapists with his care as well as for their information and education. I never stop being amazed at the knowledge they hold, when it comes to his care.

Once we were able to get on a consistent schedule with a same therapist, our experience has been very good. Our son enjoys it and has grown significantly. I also have learned many new ideas that help at home as well.

My son has been going here for the about 6 months. He has SPD. They are amazing at what they do! All the therapists, OT, Speech, and PT are so nice. The front desk will answer any questions you would have about insurance and scheduling. They work closely with insurance and make it easy to understand the payment process!

Very professional, they schedule you at times that work best for you and they give reminder calls for you appointments. The staff is kind and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone with children needing therapy.

Let me start by saying WE LOVE MRS.Jill our OT. She is amazing! She is the only reason we are still attending therapy here. We started at sunshine when my son was about a year old. At the age of 2 we decided to have a MAJOR SURGERY for my son. The approval process for the surgery was that our PT girls had to fill out a form saying we were good and attended regular sessionsand evaluate our son, also we needed to attended therapy post surgery 4-5 times a week. We talked with the girls in PT about this for MONTHS literally. I texted them updates on our sons progress right after surgery.. and 2 weeks after surgery on our way home fron St. Louis at 5pm I get a Call from sunshine saying that I DIDNT INFORM THEM OF THE SURGERY AND TAKE THE PROPER STEPS NEEDED!! Are you KIDDING ME! Everyone we spoke with OT,PT, SPEECH knew we were planning it and the amount of therapy needed after the surgery. Instead of taking the blame for dropping the ball on their end they tried to blame me. And denied us therapy when we needed it most! The OWNER of the facility told me IF I DIDNT HAVE SOONERCARE IT WOULDNT BE AN ISSUE. That HER DAUGHTER IS SPECIAL NEEDS AND SHE NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN! 😡 I was soo angry and HURT actually.. these people were like family to us. We were with them several times a week and they acted like they had no clue our sons surgery was going to take place or that we would need more therapy each week.We had to emergently get approved for another facility and start PT there. It ended up being a blessing though because at our new place therapy works has a lot more room for PT and more equipment to work with the kiddos on.We just love Mrs. Jill so we opted to do OT with her still.

Two of my kids go here and it is honestly one of the only two centers I have liked. They have done wonders and I really like all the therapists that have seen my kids. Kudos! Kudos, I say!

I agree with Reina. As far as the therapists and services offered, it is a great environment. From an employee (admin) standpoint, there is a bunch of ball dropping and finger pointing, partially due to inadequate training. There is no reward for trying to pick up other peoples slack; so its overwhelming and either quit or get fired. Both happen often.

Is a Place where group of intellectual theapists who are dedicated to do their job with free mind to make sure childen with special needs in speech, occupational, behavioral and physical achive their goal.I give sunshine center an excellent scores because my daugher has a great improvement in all areas of therapy giving to her. My child has been coming to sunshine for nearly 2 years and I must say that the staff they currently have is absolutely wonderful. They truly go the extra mile for all of their clients. Today I witnessed a lady get extremely aggressive and out of control because she refused to pay her past due balance, the girl tried to calm her and asked her to take a seat for a moment while she contacted management about the balance and the woman went to the therapy room without permission while she was getting answers. the lady was asked to pay her balance and she came out of the room screaming and yelling and making a scene in front of many children in the lobby. I found that management handled the situation very well considering the behavior of this woman. Im hoping for my childs sake that she is not seen here in this facility again. I absolutely love this place and Im hoping the staff they currently have is here to stay for the long haul. we would recommend these therapists, office staff and management to everyone!

My son just loves his therapy time to the point that he cries when we leave. Hes made a lot of friends and theyre always ready for you at your scheduled appointment time. They get you in and out in a timely manner and the progress really shows at home!

My childs therapist is awesome and they do such a great job with continuity of care. I would be sad if we werent able to come here. My son has made so much progress toward life goals!

My 7 year old does very well here for her speech delay. I like that they have later appts and weekend availability (even if there is a waitlist). I highly recommend Rebecca or Cynthia. Fantastic and thorough speech paths. Ive seen big improvements in my childs speech. Receptionist Shana is the best. Shes is so courteous. Shes really an asset here. I see there has been high turnovers in front end staff, but DO NOT LOSE SHANA! She is a shining star!

My son has went through two sets of tubes in his ears and the whole time without having them he was partially deaf he is 2 and was having a horrible delay in speech skills. We have been coming to Tulsa Sunshine Center for about 2 months and its like I have a different child. I am so thankful and would deffinantly refer anyone and everyone to them. This place has changed my life.

Staff here at Tulsa Sunshine is amazing. My daughter has thrived so much in the past year. Her therapists treat us like family. I am always telling others to send their children here.

I have been at the sunshine center for 4 years. my favorite is our physical therapist Leisa. she is absolutely amazing. the office staff has recently changed, and that was a transition, but I think they are running a bit more smoothly.

The worst therapy for your kid. Avoid this place. Therapists only watch kids playing with toys and dont do anything. They forgot to schedule my kid Occupational Therapy then they called the therapist and he said that my kid will receive only 15 min therapy but I would be charged for half an hour. I grabbed my kid and left immediately. The decoration is very poor.

My child currently goes the sunshine center, she works with kristen and Beth on feeding and sensory. my kiddo has went from not touching foods to trying just about anything. she also had meltdowns and had sensory issues and started swim therapy and has made a drastic change. There staff is also so sweet and always has a smile on their face.

My son has been attending Tulsa Sunshine for a little over 2 years. The staff is EXCELLENT! He has met some milestones and is improving every time with his Apraxia. So thankful to all his teachers he is not just a patient but they are really sincere and caring.
