Really nice place for the kids to camp. Good bathrooms for a campground. The pavilions are nice. 2 complaints which arent really that bad. 1st is that the only place for a fire pit is all the way at the back of the camp. And 2nd the pond is so full of algae you cant fish. Maybe add in some carp to clean it up.

Been here several times for different events. Great camping and classroom facilities. Good for Cub scout activities, COPE, Scouts and more. The only issue sometimes is timing to get onto the property. Proper coordination with the ranger is a must to make for a smooth weekend of Scout fun.

I have not been impressed with Christmas lights in many years, but this was very impressive. Worth seeing it.

Camp Russell (Jack Graves) is a great place to go for a close to town trip or event. Our Pack, Troop & Crew 936 out of St. Benedicts in Broken Arrow uses this location regularly for movie nights, canoeing skills, picnics, horseback riding, and much more. The ranger is great. Now if we could build an awesome ROPES course there it would be great. We could also put up a bulletin board advertising Scouting - which would help us increase Scouts in our Troops.

It was pretty darn hard to find, with Google Maps ridiculous directions. I was threatened with violence for turning down a country lane which DID NOT go there. Once I found my own way, the place was nice enough. Enter from 101st, thats all Im sayin.
