Rafi is a huge fan of JM Pet Resort. He is so happy there. Everyone is very welcoming and they take the utmost care of him. Their attention to detail as well as the well thought out and executed programs and departments are impeccable. Kelli grooms him and is so gentle. Both he and Marley are cared for by Dr. Page.Marley is starting day care soon and I know that the folks at JM Pet will ensure he feels safe and help him overcome his shyness. They are incredible!

JM Pet Vet clinic is the best. They treat my dog like he is one of their own. Everyone is so nice, and Dr Adam Paige is wonderful. Long haired dogs need more care and they are always great about showing me how and why to do something like pulling the hairs out of his ears. I cant thank them enough. They took my boy Aragon into their care at a time when no one else would. Theyve treated him like hes their own personal team mascot. I couldnt be happier. I know he, as well as all the other dogs in their care, are family to them. I am completely confident my Aragon is happy, healthy, and above all safe in their hands. I never write reviews but JM Pet Resort consistently exceeds my expectations. Their staff is amazing and truly care about the animals, the same is true for Vet staff. Even though Ive moved I still drive to JM for vet and daycare for my two rescue pitties. It is the only place out the many daycares Ive tried that I trust because of their knowledge, organization, and level of supervision. I wish they had a location closer to Boston!!My elderly mother also takes her Yorkie to JM. This morning she called me to ask if I could cancel his appointment today because she wasnt feeling well. When I called I spoke with Hannah who took the time to let me know next available appointments and that the timing would cause Seamus to restart his vaccine series. She then went out of her way to set up a pickup by their pet taxi for my mom who lives slightly out of their usual service area. He is now all set and will be able to be groomed and get his shots. This took so much stress from my mother, and we are truly grateful for the customer service we received.Thank you JM for always taking great care of our dogs and being so accommodating!!!

I have been using JM Pet Resort for about a year now and absolutely love it! Tuukka loves everyone there and so do I! Everyone is so caring and helpful and it really makes me happy whenever I come in! Tuukka goes to daycare as well as the Vet and they are both great! We just finished a training class with Sandra and signed up for a new one with her in a couple of weeks! Some small hiccups here and there but overall they are great.

We love JM Pet Resort and so does our dog. All the staff are incredibly wonderful and helpful. I feel confident my dog is loved and cared for while in their hands.

Our Rocco had a great experience at JM, he looked forward to going everyday. All of the staff were so kind and great with him and even though he had special needs, we knew he was in good hands and that we need not worry when he was there. Our only regret is that we didnt discover JM earlier , the 8 months he was there were the happiest for him no more anxiety, instead he had constant companionship. We have been sending our three dogs to JM for almost 3 years. I cant say enough about their entire operation. We have used them for day care, boarding and vet services. The dogs love all of the staff. The fact that the vet is on-site is a dream. Dr. OBrien and Dr. Paige go above and beyond what any other vet has ever provided for my dogs. The services are all reasonably priced, I have never had sticker shock - and with three dogs, that has happened! I would highly recommend JM Pet to anyone who has fur babies!

I dont normally write reviews but I so strongly believe in this facility and the services they offer that I wanted to make sure, if your not sure, that you know your pet is in good hands here! If you have a difficult dog to train, even one that seems impossible, dont give up, there is hope and help through JM Pet Resort Trainings! Try it! Youll be amazed!! I would give them 10 stars if it was an option.

To start I will say I have never had any major issues with the care of my dogs at JM. This business has grown a lot in the past few years and with this growth our experiences with JM have become less and less positive. Since COVID JM is not open on Sunday’s (the reasoning behind this I’m not sure of) so if you’re taking a weekend trip and want to pick up your dog on a Sunday when you’ve returned home you will have to wait and pick up the dog on Monday (this also charges you an extra day for boarding that you don’t need). On Sundays the phones are completely turned off. So if there was ever an emergency and you needed to contact someone from JM on a Sunday while your dog is there there is NO way to do this. Finally when you try to call JM Mon-Sat you will very rarely get someone on the phone and most often just have to leave a voicemail and hope your call is returned . This was not the always the case. JM used to feel very personable and responsive , but since their expansion it has not felt that way. I prefer to be at a smaller business where I don’t feel so much like a number in a massive operation. I also prefer somewhere you can reach someone by phone and pick up your dog any day of the week to avoid extra boarding charges.

Exceptional customer service even in the pandemic. I called and asked for a few items over the phone and the worker described all the martingale collars in my dogs size in detail. I purchased that and a few other items and when I brought my puppy to the vet the next day they were waiting for me on the table as stated. The collar was exactly what she described and I was super happy with it. Also, Dr OBrien has been great with our new dog. I have used JMs service for many years for my previous dog but the vet is new for us and Im super happy with the care and price.

Ive been going to JM Pet Resort for 20yrs now and it just keeps getting better, it does and offers everything you need for your pets. From Vet care to boarding to daycare and all the food and supplies you need. Also offers grooming and will even pick-up and drop off your dog in their JMPR van. I really wanted to like this place. I did my research and reviews looked positive, however when I brought my puppy there for the first visit they misread his birthday by 3 weeks. The paperwork came back as 08/04/2020 we called to correct it and have it updated in the system only to find out there was another concern and we were told the rabies shot they gave him was too soon. It was essentially ineffective at his age and told us he can come back in a month for a booster. To me this is concerning. When I dropped him off I stated he was 11 weeks, the sheet with my questions stated his birthday 08/24/2020 and when we signed him up and completed the paperwork online we stated his birthday as 8/24/2020. I understand mistakes happen but to misread his age by 3 weeks is a major difference for a puppy. I was also charged for the vaccine even though it’s in effective, my pup experienced an extra shot when he didn’t need to, and we had to correct the mistake when that shouldn’t have been our responsibility. When humans go to the doctors they have you confirm your DOB, this should have been confirmed with dogs too. We have since canceled our future appointments with JM and will take our puppy to another location.

The staff at the Pet Vet is amazing! I have not used the resort yet (Im sure I will) but they have taken such good care of my extra large breed puppy between check ups, coming back for second rounds of shots, spaying her and when I thought there was an infection they got me right in and got me antibiotics for her at no charge. They treat the animals like their own and make pet owners feel comfortable leaving their babies with them. Special shout out to Stacey who helped calm me down the morning of surgery and contacted me as soon as it was done to let me know she did well! You have no idea how much I appreciated it!I started coming here because the prices were great and as a first time dog owner I was concerned about the costs, but I feel like Im at a high end vet every time I go. They’re great!

I am not someone who writes a lot of reviews and definitely not someonewho would write a review to hurt someones business but this review had to be written. We started using JM for our dog to go to afternoon daycare and playtime and we were pleased with the service. When Gideon had what we thought was a leg injury we went to our usual vet, Banfield, who diagnosed it as a CCL tear. Because was so active we temporarily accepted the diagnosis. As a couple of weeks went by with no progress we decided to bring him to JM and told them the story. They too agreed it was probably a CCL tear and did xrays and ran blood. After that, they confirmed that was most likely what it was and told us we should see an orthopedic specialist. We made an appointment at Tufts because we were told they were best. But we had to wait over 3 months for an appointment. As we waited, Gideon got no better and started to be very finicky eating and sleeping a lot so we called JM a number of times. We were told to keep up the pain pills and try to feed him boiled chicken. So we did but the situation did not improve. We called again and again, most times not getting a call back from the vet. In the end, it turned out that Gideon had bone cancer all along! But it was too late. I write this because just as hiring an attorney, you cannot take what they say as gospel. The two most common signs of bone cancer in a dog are no interest in eating and being lethargic. And his swelling continued to worsen even though he was not putting any weight on his leg. Because I trusted the two vets we went to (including JM) I did not do enough of my own research or I would have known. Not once did JM even bring up anything other than a CCL injury. We could have tried Chemo or something else. When we did finally get to Tufts, Gideon was in there for 5 minutes when the vet called me and told me she was almost certain it was not an injury but in fact, cancer. She was 99% certain but I told her to run a full blood scan and do more xrays to be 100%. Gideon never returned. Yes, any doctor can make a misdiagnosis but they misread all the signs and became unresponsive.

I had my dog spayed here a couple weeks ago. They told us to call immediately if the dog had an upset stomach or anything like that. We did call, because the medicine was making her stomach upset, and they never called back. We just stopped giving her the anti inflammatory medicine and she was fine, but it could have been more serious and it’s definitely not ok they didn’t call us back. Also, when her scar healed up it’s terribly uneven. It’s very jagged and not straight and neat whatsoever. They’re cheaper than any place around, so apparently you get what you paid for. Very disappointed. Luckily nothing came bad from the surgery.

I’ve had positive experiences here, they work hard and do a great job with my dog. Any time I had a question or issue they responded well. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because only my home gets that.

We have been coming to J&M for a bunch of years..boarding and vet care have been great, but we mainly bring our dog to be groomed with Kelly..absolutely love her. This last time, we got a new groomer, Tamara, lovely and she did an amazing job on our newfie mix. I really love this place, so happy they are expanding, all the staff are happy and friendly, great hiring!

UPDATED REVIEW!! 9/29/2020Joyce called me about an hour after this review and we resolved it! Joyce was very sweet and I know the owner Jenny wanted to make sure it was all figured out which I like. That effort is why people return to companies who felt negative about their experiences. Joyce spoke with me about 20 minutes discussing my cats problems and JM could resolve the issues I had. They are offering two more medication trips WHICH should resolve all of this. I appreciate JM Pet Vet Clinic for the work they do and the company as a whole is great. Im glad they reached out.OLD REVIEW..Ive always liked JM! My families dogs have always gone there. I recently took a cat in off the street and it went south. My cat has an ear infection and the first time bringing her, I was charged around $110 and left with ear drops. Did them for roughly ten days two times a day. The drops did nothing. Second trip, the vet told me she would apply a medicine tube in her ear two separate times (Im not sure why that wasnt the first step, this is my first cat so putting ear drops in her ears two times a day wasnt easy for me). First trip was another $100. Went back for the second tube, it was around $30. Went back for the check up and i was charged $43 WHEN they told me the prior trip it would be around $25 for the final check up. Check up was for them to say the infection was still there. Ive paid almost 300 dollars for them to not solve the problem and my cat cant get her ears touched without shaking and scratching them. Finally, the vet said another cat there has the same problem and she ordered a compound medicine for it that might work on my cat as well. So thats more money, unknown exactly how much- until the medicine comes in, that may or may not finally give my cat some relief. I have always felt JM was professional with other pets in the past but this is unacceptable. I feel taken advantage of for trusting their treatment recommendations without question. With the past few months of dealing with pay cuts due to the virus, paying as much money as I did for an ear infection and the infection not even gone down for my cat, I am really let down.

My whole extended family brings their pets here! Dr. Page is amazing , they are so caring and compassionate. Their prices are amazingly reasonable, they dont push unnecessary tests or vaccines. Jenn is doing an amazing job with this place!

We have been bringing our Cane Corso (Molly) here for awhile. She’s 10 months old and we got her right before covid started. If anyone knows anything about CC they 100% NEED to be socialized as a puppy or they can be dangerous dogs. Thank God for JM! Without them finding a way to remain open Molly could potentially be a very different dog than the cuddly goof ball she happens to be now. JM also did a puppy class with us via zoom which was also a great help to getting Molly trained. As far the veterinarian hospital they have on site it has also been amazing. Our Molly has been quite sick from an infection. Per our contract with our breeder we are supposed to wait until Molly is 2 years old to spay her. However with this particular infection we might have to move that surgery up. Fingers crossed we will find out more today when she is seen for a follow up with the vet. However thru this whole thing the vet has called us immediately with all the info and took the time to talk to us and explain the situation and what is the best thing to do for Molly. They also said they would have no problem speaking with our breeder if they had any questions as well. They truly amazing staff that clearly care about the animals and their jobs. Molly is already over 100 pounds at 10 months and can be intimidating looking. Other places and people have “judged” us for having a dog like Molly. However JM does not judge at all in fact we have seen multiple other CCs at JM along with other large “aggressive” (not a term you would use if you actually met Molly but a term people have associated with the breed) looking dogs. Some places wouldn’t have even taken a dog like Molly. Anyways I could go on and on about how great JM pet resort is but I think I made my point. Great staff, great price and they care about the dogs. Enough said! Thanks

Love this place! We have been going here for years , the staff is the best! they have everything from grooming to doggy daycare to vet care. We will travel from the north shore to the south shore just to have my dog cared for. The groomers are the best all around. I wont go anywhere else. Our dog just loves it here. JM Pet Resort has the highest standards of ANY doggie daycare Ive ever seen. They treat my dog Peter like family. Hes been going there for over a year and a half and weve NEVER been disappointed with the service he receives. He went for basic puppy obedience classes. Peter also went through the Board and Train program. Sandra took unbelievable care and attention with Peter to make sure he came through the program with flying colors. Before the program Peter couldnt walk by a sock without stealing and eating it. Now he doesnt even look at the laundry basket! His personality didnt change, just his bad habits. I cant recommend the program enough. I cant recommend JMPR enough. The staff, retail, and petvet are unmatched and untouchable. My pup received top notch attention and care every time he goes to daycare.Sadly though, we are moving and will greatly miss having having JM up up te street. It feels like were moving away from family. That being said, well still make the trip to bring him to the pet vet for shots and care when needed. 100% worth the drive.JM is one of a kind to my one of a kind pup.

State of the art facility

I bring my Sheltie, Rose here for daycare when I work. She gets so excited when I bring her in that she wags her whole body! It is comforting to know she is happy and safe while I am working.

JM Pet Resort takes care of our dogs superbly! Only superlatives as far as hands-on dog care. However, communication with the staff needs work. Lesley and Molly from the front desk are the only staff members I want to interact with. Everyone else needs some kind of training in communicating JM’s policies and procedures.

My two dogs, Link and Luna, stayed with them for a week had a blast!! At the end of their stay, Kelli gave them the cutest hair cut ever! Luna is a more difficult dog and this was Link’s first time getting groomed and Kelli communicated with me throughout the entire process. Thanks so much for taking such good care of my fur children!

We love JM pet! We use their vet service because they have the best prices and are very compassionate. We also use their training class which was amazing! They give amazing personal time in each class amd we just signed our puppy up for another! Also the store is great they have everything you could ever need and are competitively priced so you can take care of all your dog needs at once!

The original reason I went here for the first time was to apply for a job which I did not get. No hard feelings I understand! But this place is AMAZING. They accept ANY dog where most doggie day care places will not., Especially in my case where my dog is not fixed, he isnt allowed to go to a play group but he is here! Their merchandise store is beautiful, the staff all seem to really love what they are doing and they offer many types of different groups and training options. I cant wait to bring my dog here for playgroup and he cant either!

I have used a few vets in the area. Every time they were good but more towards selling you procedures. JM PET RESORT are more in my opinion for the pet . Compassionate, caring, they dont know me . I am a new client . I forgot my wallet . They took care of my pet told me to call it in when i get home . I highly recommend them . I want nothing but the best for my dog . I found it here .

Good service

This place is a great place for dogs to be. I am not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. My puppy loves it there. Whenever I open the car door he RUSHES to the door and he rushes out back. He gets so ridiculously excited! He comes home happy and tired. Yes there are days that he comes home completely filthy. He did the other day. But they have pools for them to jump in outdoors and so he rolls around in the mud and he gets dirty. They did give him a bath but they didnt get underneath his collar. I consider it that he is having fun. They have been SO SO good to him and they know him really well.

Our Dog Diego love his visits there .We bring him for daycare. When we say Doggy baycare to him he gets all excited and cant wait to go for his ride there. My wife and I a very happy with their service. In fact we love the staff there. They are as close to family as it can get. Trustworthy and Caring. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to care for their fur baby.

They are very skilled with dogs at this facility. They treat our dogs (one with an anxiety condition) like family. My large dogs practically rip my arm off to get in the door they have so much fun here! We can get the dogs groomed while they are in daycare or boarding. J.M. is huge peace of mind.

Love this place! My puppy was well taken care of and came home happy and exhausted from a good time. Would reccomend to any one looking for the best prices for doggy daycare and vet care in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about JM! My dog goes to daycare here and they are so great. Their customer service is some of the best best I have ever received and because of that I switched to using their services full-time. They keep you informed to anything out of the ordinary going on with your dog and the staff are always willing to offer advice on anything from products to training tips.

The people behind the desk were very helpful. The veterinarian seemed very knowledgeable. However, I have come to question the staff when comes to my dog. It has been three occasions where I brought my dog to the pet resort, and hes come up with money poop between his claws, several deep scratches about his face. I do not think they are taking care of my dogs away I would like to see them taken care of. These are not ordinary play scratches, resulting me to believe that my dog was either involved in a fight or was mistreated. When question, it took them three hours to notify me. They told me that both dogs were placed on time out. Why was I not notified about the damages done, nor about the timeouts? I am not satisfied with the way theyve been taking care of my dog. – Update – 1/29/2014 I was contacted by the owner regarding my inconveniences and was offered free services. I bought my dog and then they made everything right I am now happy

Yesterday my cat, Obsidian-Storm, was seen by Dr. Page and Amanda. Amanda fell in love with my little dude instantly. They were great. Turns out I was right, Sid is a diabetic. They walked me through the steps to give him insulin. Needles creeped me out before yesterday; now, thanks to them, Im okay with it. I was struggling with the fragile syringe at first. They were very patient with me until I got it right. As of now, Im only coming here; I have a new Veterinarian.Thank you, Dr. Page.
