I had not been to the dentist since I was 8 years old, and when I tell you these people are the best I am not exaggerating. They always make me feel so welcome and at home when I am scared. My doctor is awesome, staff is EXCELLENT, and building is always clean. I love these people and will always go here for my dental procedures; you should too! They will take good care of you. ❤️🦷

The dentist either filed down my canines and other teeth or chipped them either way it was without my consent or knowledge and I didnt find out till I came homeupdate: when confronted about this they completely denied it and tried to say it was all my fault that i chipped them, they were fine when i arrived and filed when i left. I feel uncomfortable and unsafe having to come here. They also put a crown on one of my teeth after a root canal and it feels loose and wiggling.

My first visit was great. Everyone I met was very friendly, pleasant, and extremely nice. I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist. Lisa was amazing. She was very gentle and thorough taking my x-rays and explained everything she was doing and why. She didnt try to rush anything, she took a lot of time going over my options and explaining every thing to me. Then she made up multiple treatments plans and explained every detail so I could understand what needed done and why. Her and Dr. Cagle was very understanding about my anxiety and gave me options on how to try to make me as calm and comfortable as possible. Ive had horrible encounters with previous dentists (hence the anxiety). I felt so relieved leaving that I think I found a place I can actually trust. I am very sure once the work begins they will be just as amazing as they was my first appointment. Ive already recommended my friends and family too. If the next appointment goes as well as the first I will continue to see them and recommend them to people I know.

I was searching for a good dental office for my oral hygiene needs and I happened to find this office. They have a Virginia office and a Tennessee office. I live in Tennessee so I decided to go with the office in Blountville. I called the office to schedule an appointment and was told that they were unfortunately booked until September. I asked if that was the soonest they could possibly see me and I was told yes but that I could be added to a call list incase of any cancellations. My information was taken to add me to that and then I was asked if I was in any pain and I said yes and they asked about what was going on and how long it had been going on for. I was told to hold for a minute and that they were going to see what they could do to get me in sooner due to that. I came off of hold and was greeting by another person who confirmed the issues I stated were going on and what I was concerned about and she told me to hold for a minute and she would see if there was anything soon for the days I had available and to find a time that would work for me. I came off of hold and she informed me they had a slot available and could move some stuff around and get me in as soon as the next morning and I confirmed. I was greeted by nothing but pure kindness by everyone I had encountered over the phone and the day of my appointment my wait time was minimal, as well as being met by friendly staff once taken back to be seen. I am very nervous with dentists and had put off going because of a bad experience when I was younger but Blountville office but me at ease and made me feel at home. They were very informative of what they were doing as well as answering any questions that I had on my care I received.They addressed issues I was concerned about and talked over a game plan for my treatment before it began and for my future treatments that would need to take place. I couldn’t have asked for a better dentist office and I’m glad I found my place. I could not recommend this place enough. If you’re worried about your dental problems or are scared of dentists, this place is for you. They put you at ease from the moment you call all the way to your trip in and as you walk out the door.

I decided to go to Mountain Empire after a referral from a family member. I could not have been treated better. They take time to explain everything they are doing and go over your insurance to make sure you have the best treatment plan available. As someone who has always been anxious about visiting a dentist, they totally made me 100% comfortable and I will now have no problems visiting the dentist regularly. Thanks to everyone there for making this a great experience and I will recommend them to everyone.

Had a terrible toothache. Called them and they got me in within the same hour that I called and I had never even been there before. They took care of me as if I was their own child basically. Was very nice and welcoming. I was in a lot of pain and they handled everything super gentle and fast. Made the experience very comfortable with conversations as if they had known me my whole life. Will definitely be back whenever I need dental work of any kind! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience! Where do i begin?!...from the receptionist to the Dr. everyone was so friendly and kind to me. Dr. Caggle was awesome as well, he was able to get my rotted wisdom tooth out in quick order and without any complications. I needed an emergency visit because of the pain about a week prior to getting the extraction and they were able to see me that very same day. Which is usally not the case because of appointments and the sort. I cannot say enough great things about Mountain Empire Dental, they are just such compassionate and professional folks. Punky was also extremely helpful in helping me get my tooth extracted. I didnt have the money to give them that day and yet they still worked with me. I truly think that driving an extra 20 miles for such a pleasant experience is worth it. I hope to keep seeing them and keep them as my primary dental place. Wonderful people, just a blessing really to have been introduced to them by a coworker of mine. I am truly grateful to ALL of the lovely people that have helped me at MED and thankful as well. I would recommend them to anyone for ANY dental needs, because they do care and it definitely shows. May God bless you all at MED and your familys as well. Thank you so very much for everything, i can chew food now and not be in excruciating pain.

I love this place. We had a very bad experience with a pediatric dentist with our oldest and we were so happy to learn we could bring our kids here where we had gone for years. They have seen all three of my babies and all three of them love going. Weve even had a few cavities filled with no issues. I cant tell you how great it is to be able to trust them to take my kids back there. And, unlike the pediatric dentist, theyve always been accepting and happy to have us go back with the kids, and we did up until regulations changed with COVID. Even my three year old will happily go back with them and she does not generally interact much with people she doesnt know well. Also, I am hard of hearing and this is the only medical facility I have ever been to where I dont have to remind them. They accommodate me perfectly every time. We love everyone there!

Kelly is always a joy. She is very good at what she does. Kelly always walks me through what she does and discusses with me my dental health and options open to me. Kelly is always cheerful and friendly. She makes me feel like I am a friend.

Best dentist ever! I am normally terrified of the dentist but once I walked in the doors I had a sense of relief! Everyone is super nice and the hygienist and dentist I seen was Incredible! They take their time and listen to your needs and what you want to have done! I am very pleased with the outcome and I can not wait to have my smile back!

We had our dentist appointments today and as always they took very good care of us! While I was finishing up getting my teeth cleaned, they made a team effort to help me control my 3 year old. This is a great office with great dentists. You will not be disappointed with your visit!

The office staff and My dentist are excellent. Today I had the worst experience ever at a doctors office. The dental assistant was rude, condescending and just not a nice person. She took an X-ray of a molar, she was not gentle. She left the chair in a very uncomfortable position. She was gone a long time. When she returned she shoved a form in front of me and before I was even done reading it and signing it. She asked for me to pay. I have been to this office numerous times, I always pay. She made me feel like I was going to sneak out.I did leave before seeing the dentist. As much as I love my dentist, I don’t know if I would go back.

As soon as you walk into the office youre treated so sweetly. The lady at reception walked me through all my paperwork and made me feel so welcome. Lisa was an absolute peach!!!!

I got my bottom dentures here. The staff were very friendly, I never had to wait for my appointment they always brought me back and seen me before my scheduled appointment time. I would recommend anyone to go here for their dental work.

I have been going here for 30 years. Always professional. I appreciate how any procedure done is thoroughly explained and questions are welcomed. I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed, bridge added, root canal, crown and fillings replaced. All procedures went well with no issues. They make sure their patients are cared for and comfortable. We have had a hell of a time trying to find anyone to treat us due to covid-19. We live over an hour away and Mountain Empire Dental was kind enough to get us in a quickly as possible for my year old sons toothache. They had to refer us to a pediatric dentist for additional treatment but they were excellent with him. I was very impressed. I will be making an appointment for myself now. They were even willing to work with me and try to figure out what we can do to solve our issue. I highly recommend them

I thought I would have a difficult time getting in to see the dentist with how crazy things have been lately. I called and thinking I would have to wait forever to get an appointment, but to my surprise I was booked and seen within a week. Everyone I dealt with today was beyond wonderful. The entire staff was extremely helpful. From getting my insurance problem taken care of to making me feel like I had been a part of their customer family for years. I still have to go back and have work done but I am actually looking forward to my next visit in a few days. I would definitely recommend giving Mountain Empire Dental a call if you need to find a new dentist.

Dr. Seaver was great ! I had my very first ever Root Canal done. Even though my tooth gave him trouble and it took him longer I still had no pain. Looking forward to getting all my teeth redone. My previous dentist was good but it was a long time ago so I need to get everything reworked. Everyone is so nice at Mountain Empire !!

Great folks! I called after accidentally breaking 2 front teeth. They saw me same day. Always there for me. Always professional.

I went in for a pair of crown replacements that I was putting off and a possible filling that couldn’t be seen until a crown was removed. I’m anxious anytime my teeth are involved but Dr Cagle and his staff were very accommodative to make sure I was relaxed and at ease. Discomfort was minimal, the work went smoothly and thankfully gas is available for us nervous types. The office is very careful about virus transmission and everything is sanitized and waiting room seating is spaced safely.A real plus is that they can make the crowns right there in the office and install them during the initial visit. No second visit after 2 weeks with a temp crown! It was great to hear there was no filling needed also.They have a modern facility, professional staff, and current technology. Highly recommended!

I had some extractions done, and Dr. Cagle and his assistant were beyond wonderful. To be as nervous as I was, they did a wonderful job making sure I was comfortable, and went above and beyond to make sure I stayed that way. If you have a fear of going to the dentist like I did, do yourself a favor, and give these guys a call!

My grandchildren ages 4 and 11 yrs had a visit to this office for the first time. Neither one said “ouch” throughout the whole visit. The hygienist and Dr.D explained everything to them as they went, with language and analogies they understood. The receptionist was so very sweet and friendly when we arrived and the person that checked us out explained the dental plans in detail. We had no expectations going in but on the way out I was so happy to have chosen them to take care of my babies. They allowed me to come back and stay with them for the entire visit. That was a concern for me. I didn’t want them out of my sight with strangers for all of the obvious reasons but when I asked if I could come back with them the response was “if they want you to”. This impressed me so much that they were giving my kids the choice. I would have respected whatever answer I received but thankfully they wanted me to come to the back with them. My kids are exceptions and are very brave with new experiences but I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better. I 100% recommend this place!!!

I broke an old crown, decided to have it looked at before having it pulled. I had to reschedule the look at it appointment twice because of unforeseen life events. They worked me in the third time. With all their customers they took extra precautions with COVID19, wearing masks & gloves, coming out to your vehicle to take your temperature. Always friendly, polite.

A cohesive team at this place! My hygienist explained what she was doing and was thorough with what I needed and with reminders and my next appointment. I higjly recommend this practice for kids, too. They welcome the often friendly, boisterous, and unassuming nature of kids and this is a great help to parents.

Dr. Cagle and the team have been great while Im doing a dental implant. No pain with initial procedure (during and after). Very clean office and equipment. Waiting area comfortable and homey. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.

My husband and I use Mountain Empire Dental (Dr. Cagle and his assistant Candace). They provide the best service and superior expertise and are also so kind and friendly to us on every visit. Everyone involved in the location is so very friendly, including the reception staff (Miss Punky) and appointment staff. They are so glad to see you when you come through their door. The automated appointment reminders are also great, so that we dont miss any cleaning or maintenance appointments. When we have an urgent need, they schedule us quickly. We feel fortunate to have them as our Dentist!!!

I had a really good experience at this office today. First time visiting and I figured I would have a bit of a wait (since I had to do paperwork) but I was actually back and getting my xrays done before my scheduled appointment time. I did show up 15 minutes early... but I still think it was a fast turn around. Everyone in the office was super nice and courteous. Very happy I chose these folks to help maintain my teeth!

All went well with my extraction.The dental assistant wouldn’t let me have my own teeth that had come out of my own mouth just seconds before,said they were a bio hazard! What does that make me?A bio hazard too ?I wasn’t even allowed to take a picture of them for my grandchildren too see . This really bothers me even today that something so petty would be allowed from a professional dentist office. I think something should be changed about that,my dentists assistant is VERY rude to me ,I dont understand why shes I s the way she is but every time I go to the office I have to deal with her .Why would a professional company allow one of there employees to ack this way . this isnt the first time this has happened with her .other than that all was well

I had a very pleasant experience, which is odd i think because a dentist appointment is not something you normally think of as pleasant, but the dental hygienist or assistant that gave me my exam and xrays was very patient, kind, funny and knowledgable and she seemed like she really loved her job and was great at it. Moving quickly but not carelessly to prevent prolonged discomfort when doing the xrays and very attentive. I will definitely be back once my insurance kicks in to get regular cleanings and work done.

My kids are 4 and 5 and loved every minute of it. Everyone who worked there had the best attitude. Super clean and they have the coolest toys to pick from at the end.

This is where we take my daughter, who is 12. All the staff there is very friendly and professional. We had a bad experience at the last dentist she went to, so we were thankful to find Mountain Empire Dental. Thank you so much for always taking such good care of my daughter, and making her comfortable when she gets nervous.

I have been going to Dr Seaver for years and I can say that he and his staff are the best. He has capped many of my teeth and I have no complaints. If you have an emergency, his staff does their best to work you in ASAP. My husband could not get in to see his regular dentist or any other office for dental clearance in order to start chemo/radiation on time and Dr Seaver saw him immediately so he could start therapy. He and his staff are the only dentists I will ever go to.

My son had accident and broke both permanent front teeth out 😖 it was very traumatic experience and we took him to couple different places and Dr Cagle at Mountain Empire who he ended up seeing him and staff have been absolutely excellent my son has diagnoses of Asperger Autism and they been absolutely awesome explaining it to him and answering all his questions and mine. It’s been such wonderful experience every time we have been I highly recommend this office. He feels super comfortable with them and their really great people that makes going to dentist way easier for him and that means easy for mom too

The staff is Always very friendly to both my wife and I and take the time to establish a connection . The practice itself seems to be run well as I have noticed the technicians seem to be knowledgeable and empowered to complete more procedures than any other dentist operation I have experienced. Equipment and process much more advanced than what I have ever experienced as well .We are very glad we found your practice after we moved here from Roanoke ! The first dentist we went to in Abingdon did not hold a candle to your operation.

Since I moved to Bristol, my girlfriend and I have been using this office. She had serious issues and the staff worked hard to ensure she got the care she needed. Followup has been great. I actually look forward to my appointments.

Been going here for over 20 years. Last year I switched only bcz i was told about another new dentist that was lower in cost. Had 3 teeth filled and one abcessed within 4 months. New dentist drilled abcess with no antibiotics which made it worse and pain was unbareable Called Dr Seavers who took me immediately. He did root canal and pain was gone immediately. Same thing happened today with the other tooth that was filled and Dr Lawson seen me today gave me meds and will be having root canal done Friday. Neither tooth should have been filled to begin with bcz cavity was to bad. What I get for switching. Thankful they gladly took me back. Will never switch again.
