Against my better judgment, because of other so called rehab facilities, I was convinced by hospital staff to let my Mom go to a different place hoping it would be better. After three weeks, added meds not required, and asking the staff to take a walk/use the bathroom. Is ignored, and has not been helped to improve. If this is rehab, I beg to differ. Its simply unacceptable, as before Ill be doing the rehab when I take her home. SMH

I made a complaint on a nighttime supervisor then i went per diem then they fired me! No reason why either. So mean and unprofessional! Thats ok i wish the facility all the best. They need it. Us African Americans get treated unfairly in all aspects, its so unfair. God bless! The pay is cheap and unorganized anyway i wouldnt work fulltime here!

My father was at The Pinesfor 2 week rehab. Living in a different state, I only dealt with staff members by phone. Interactions demonstrated a lack of indifference, poor/lack of communication with other staff members and patients family. staff members I dealt with were more interested in arguing with patients families rather than listening. They did not appear to understand or care about the impact of their actions. I would never send a loved one to this facility.

ALL of the staff at The Pines are very friendly and helpful. They make the residents and their families feel comfortable. The care here is top notch. Families can feel confident that their loved ones are being cared for by the best people in the business.

Mother was here 2 yrs ago. Worst place. She was right next to dining room and wanted soup instead of what they gave her. They never gave it to her. Kept her in bed whole time when dr wanted her up. Tried to give her someone elses medicine. Thank God she caught them. Run away as fast as u can.

My mother went in after surgery . The next day they completely ignored her and she wet her pants several times and then they put her wet pants in with her clean clothes. I had to clean the drawers and closet. My mother kept hitting the button for them to come and it took them 45 minutes to get to her. This nurse who was about 5’10”, 200 pounds, dark short hair on second shift was ignoring my request to give her medication. So they ended up given her all her meds at the same time which made my mother very sick. This nurse lied and said they gave it to her when she required it but I was with my mother the time they lied about giving her the meds. We are paying out of pocket which is very expensive and my mother is very sweet and gentle and they abused her. Don’t go here, these people make fun of the patients and do not care. Very stressful experience for the whole family.

I requested the respite service for my brother and in three days he was hospitalized with aspiration pneumonia, clearly there is not good communication between the nurses and the care staff because they did not know how to work with a patient with a feeding tube. I went to collect his belongings and neither the administrator nor the nurse manager were available. If you love your family member, dont use places like this.
