Im grateful to Dr. McDonough and his staff. I had been having troubles Diverticulitis. Its difficult when moving from one state to another and having medical complications. It seemed impossible to get in to see a specialist ASAP. However Dr. McDonoughs office got me in and admitted to hospital without delay. From his friendly staff to his follow up with me and knowledgeable treatment. Im on my way to healing. Nothing but thanks and 5 stars to Dr. McDonough.

He gives excellent patient care. Dr McDonough explains every procedure thoroughly and has a caring bedside manner.

I previously saw a different GI doctor and had a horrible experience. I went to see Dr. McDonough for a second opinion and he exceeded my expectations. The office staff is very helpful. While I had to wait a while to get in to him as a new patient, the receptionist that took my appointment helped me to get on a call list in case of a cancelation. The wait was worth it. When I went in for my first appointment, Dr McDonough took his time in the exam and was very thorough. He listened to my long detailed history of GI issues and asked a lot of questions. I did have to have some testing done on a Friday and he told me not to expect results until the following Wednesday. His office was able to call me with results Monday morning and send me up for follow up testing that same day. I recommend him and his office to anyone in need of this kind of care.

Bait and switch. The procedure that was supposed to be performing was covered under my insurance as a preventative measure. Day before the procedure I was called and told I needed to bring a check for $4900 to cover the procedure. Almost a year later now they are sending me a bill for an office visit. Unprofessional.
