My baby girls is 9 now. When she was 3 we had her ears pierced and one earring got embedded inside her ear. I guess the gun tool was really forceful. Our doc referred us to R.Barnes DO. Office was rude 6 years ago. They wanted to put 3yo under general anesthesia to take out the earring. We left and seen a pediatric nurse who recommended waiting. Sure enough earring came out on its own. Not even a scratch left and my kid still can wear earrings.R.Barnes office didnt hesitate to charge for nothing. Well ok.Now my kid is 9 and needs ENT to check out tonsils/adenoids problem as she gets sore throat often. Again we were referred to R.Barnes office where upon calling they only say Hello and then silence. As i tried to explain why i was referred, receptionist cut me off rudely saying we still owe money and we can just fill out form and then doctor will decide what to do. And they wont be able to schedule anything for 15 days.I will never take my kid there and everyone should try to stay away from doctors who like money better than helping people.

Dr Barnes is amazing. I had to have sinus surgery and he did a great job, I have never felt better. Dr. Barnes talked to me and assured me he was going to take care of my issues, which he did! As far as the business office they are in no hurry to refund your money after the insurance company paid there part. But they wont see you if you owe them I was called the week before surgery and had to pay my whole deductible before I could have my surgery, its been a month since the insurance has settled with them, I had to call several times and my insurance called them. They never even notified me I even had a refund. My insurance company and I were told I would be refunded a week ago, now Im told the doctor is out and I will have to wait WOW.....Like I said I am very Happy with Dr. Barnes.

First time visit as a result of follow-up from ER procedure. Dr. Barnes was friendly, professional, & took time to answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend him!

Had no problem getting in, Dr Barnes took his time talking with me and going over all my options. I felt very comfortable with him and felt he had my best interest at heart.

Scheduling with this office is a nightmare to begin with. Hopefully when you do get an appointment youll be able to see the doctor, especially after you call 30+ times to confirm theyre seeing patients that day and sit through 2.5 hours of traffic and 2 highway shutdowns. If you do get to see him then youre doing better than me, because apparently lunch time was more important to this office than a patient was.

Saw Richard Barnes for an ear infection. Entire staff was rude and impersonable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Barnes treated me like I was a nuisance from the moment he had to clean my ears, to telling me I needed surgery without explaining anything to me. Sent me out the door to schedule a follow up. The receptionist told me my hearing test wasnt covered by insurance, and I owed 65 dollars for the test. I only had cash, so I was trying to find exact change for them - strange rule for a pleace accepting cash!! Then she proceeds to haggle down the price from 65 to 60, to 40. How do you haggle medical expenses??? Called my insurance company and they informed me that I should not have had to pay anything other than my copay. The receptionist scammed me out of money, didnt give me a receipt!!!! I made an appointment with another ENT specialist, and trying to get my records sent over from Dr. Barnes to my new Dr has been a NIGHTMARE.DI NOT go to this location/doctor. Most unprofessional visit I have ever had! Im not usually a complainer, in fact this is my first review I have ever made anywhere, that is how upset I am!

Got allergy shots for five years with Dr Barnes and my allergies are a lot better has also treated me for vertigo and it has gotten better hes very nice and always professional would recommend him to anyone
