Dont waste your money !I was at a different eye doctor 7 months ago, and a week after receiving my new glasses from Americas Best.I was having problems seeing clearly with the new glasses, as well as getting headaches after receiving the new script.I couldnt see clearly.The eye doctor said after returning, that the reason that I couldnt see clearly, was because I had dry eyes and cataracts that is why I couldnt see clearly.After I couldnt see clearly with the glasses, I went to another eye doctor for my Contact prescription.Not being able to see clearly with the glasses from Americas Best, I received a complete eye exam from another eye doctorwith no sign of glaucoma or Cataracts.I should have known better.If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.They got my money this time, but its the last time !Side noteThe doctor at Bridgeton said that was as good as I was going to be able to see with glasses. Funny thing, the other eye doctor I went to didnt seem to have a problem.

Great selection of kid’s glasses! Employees helpful and professional. Kayla was amazing! The shop was very busy, and I had my 3 year old and 8 year old with me. Phone died and was feeling stressed out. Kayla was calm and patient. Her positive energy is contagious and turned my visit around. Thanks Kayla! Can’t wait to get my daughter’s first pair of glasses in! 😊

Deanna, or whatever she said her name was, was extremely rude today. Called about ordering contacts and she claimed i never had the exam, even though thats what I scheduled and paid for, apparently they just didnt issue the prescription. Im not paying another $100 just for you to obtain the same information you already have for my glasses, which that prescription didnt change so I seriously doubt the contact prescription would be different this time around aswell. But the location is a joke.. even when I pi k up my glasses they were all talking poorly about the customer that just left..when the store was still filled with customers

If I could give zero stars I would!! What a joke from walking in the door to the unknowledgeable staff and big cry baby of a doctor.First receptionist RUDE, Second eye tech had me standing 3ft closer to the screen than I should have been to test my eyes. I knew something was up when I could read all the letters and Ive never been able to do that. As I leave the room 3ft behind where I was is a sign that says stand here.Then sitting in the waiting room the doctor comes out stomping and screaming for Janice the eye tech. He proceeds into an office and screams, lol. Followed by Janice getting a reaming all with the door wide open , not giving a darn Im staring at him while he degrades this woman who has said Im sorry a thousand times.Did my Google research right there to see I shouldnt waste my money here. Then he goes around the corner and tells a staff member he doesnt care its not his eyes. Followed with if we send them to an optometrist next they will get sued not me.After all these bad reviews shame on this company for continuing to employ him. And poor Janice I wanted to punch him in the face for her, but I got up and left. Never going back there, looks like chesterfield is no better.

Definitely not the way to go. I decided to give them a try because of the awesome sale! I came in for an appointment this afternoon to get new pairs of glasses. When I first arrived, everything ran smoothly. I was greeted, seated, and had a quick exam as you usually do. To keep this story short lets just say I spent 40 minutes waiting to be checked out after my exam and picking my frames. I honestly feel like they forgot I was even there until I began walking toward the door to leave! Overall, too much going on at one time. A LOT of confusion between staff and customers after the initial interaction. Try the Maplewood location maybe? Well, back to Crown Vision I go!

The doctor at the Bridgeton office is the worst ever. Is always with a rush, treat me and talked me very rude. Not a professional at all. I dont recommend this place at all. The person at the front, with attitude all the time . I had to go back to redo my exam, because the 1st time done incorrectly and they were mad at me. Like is my fault , they dont take the time or listen to their customers.

Not America’s best. Requested for my glasses about a month ago and one of the employees lost track where they were. Now I have to wait even more to get a call back for my product. Their Due Diligence is poor quality. On the contrary, they have a positive staff but the follow through is weak. They’re 2 faced. Super lazy and most of them don’t really care about the customers. They just want the paycheck that’s it. Fix your management.

I hate America’s best all locations. Customer service is trash employees have attitudes. Go somewhere else they will have you waiting a month for contacts and when you call them to ask about a ETA. They will have an attitude with you and tell you that they are already in. Always a bad experience with America’s best.

I was a walk in customer before noon. The store had several customers but I was able to to schedule an eye exam right then and there due to a scheduled cancellation.I found the staff to be professional and pleasant. After the very informative eye exam, I went on to select 2 pairs of glasses -one for near and one for far fields of view. There was a slight computer related issue with the measurements for ordering my glasses. The manager came over and helped the technician while also conversing with myself. The issue was resolved and my glasses were ordered without a bunch of sales pressure over options, etc.Picking up my glasses was a breeze. I got a message on my phone that they were ready and stopped into the office the same day. I had a brief session with one of the staff to fit the pairs of glasses that was very comprehensive with compassion for my concerns to how the glasses fit me. The entire session for picking up my glasses took about 15 minutes.I would recommend this location to anyone.

Awesome Covid 19 cleaning procedures. Limiting amount of customers in store, Saturday and deep evening hours. Affordable stylish brand name frames: got 2 pairs of bifocal glasses for $100 yours maybe less if u see better than me!

Friendly and helpful staff at this location. The optometrist was efficient and friendly as well. The cost for my two pairs of glasses was a bit high since I did not have vision insurance, but the sales associate was helpful in getting me the best deal possible at that time for my frames and lenses, without high pressure sales tactics for add-on items I did not need. They have appointment times available throughout the week and on Saturday as well, to accommodate their customers schedule.

So very friendly and helpful. With Medicare we do not have vision insurance (one of the unfortunate perks of being on Medicare), but the employees helped save us extra money on our glasses. Thank you so very much!

I am writing this in hopes that no one else experiences the issues that I just experienced with this location. I scheduled my contact eye exam online, super easy and signed up for the eye care club for contacts. I thought $99 for 3 years is def a smart investment.... Im hoping its just this location...When coming in for my visit I showed up 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, and was sat almost 35 minutes after my scheduled time. After meeting with the first representative, I had another 15 minute wait to see the actual doctor. We are now at 65 minutes... after getting out of the doctors office I have another 10 minute wait so they can order my samples because they are out I expressed that the glasses I have been wearing were outdated and was assured it Would only be a few days I have been wearing contacts for 10+ years now and have gone to Clarkson for the last 5 years... I have never walked out of a contact exam without a sample pair of contacts. For a week, I would rush home and check my mailbox for the sample pair that they said they ordered and were having delivered. A week later, I called and they said they were ordered to the store, not to my house, and that they were not in yet. WE ARE TWO WEEKS OUT FROM THE APPOINTMENT. At that point I asked if there was another sample pair of contacts that I could try in the mean time because my glasses were starting to cause daily migraines. The lady told me I will take your name and number and have the doctor call you back after this appointment, I am only a receptionist and can not authorize that Sure, no problem. Its 9:30 in the AM and I would have expected a call back before I had to call back at 3:30 PM. Another day later they finally had a sample pair that I could try. A week later my initial sample pair arrived... 3 weeks.. 3 weeks for a sample pair of contacts at a location that a doctor let me walk out of a contact eye exam without trying ANY contacts on or offering another sample. At this point Ill probably eat the remaining time on my $99/3 years plan because there is zero chance I will ever be back at this location. I would heavily advise against it if I were you reading this review.

I ordered my glasses three weeks ago tomorrow. They shipped to the store earlier this week but as of yesterday they hadn’t arrived! So because they didn’t ship them when they were suppose to and now they’re closed for another two weeks. I have no glasses! Thanks a lot!

Just had an eye exam and bought contacts from this location. I was greeted promptly, and after filling out paperwork only waited about 5 minutes to see the doctor! Now I dont know about you, but Ive NEVER had a shorter wait to see an eye doctor in my 15 years of wearing glasses/contacts. Also, for those of us without insurance, such as myself, it was cheap! I paid less then 200 dollars for an eye exam and same day contacts!

I had my date wrong, AB still seen me. Staff was very friendly. Nice choice of glasses after some time trying on many. I found the two pairs right for me. Lastly no pressure at checkout. Loved it.

I found the service to be good and the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Especially with my children and their glasses. We spent about 10-15 min getting two pairs fitted properly, not many places will do that.

Very nice staff at the front of the house, but the doctor needs bedside manners - didnt introduce himself, ran through the exam quickly, I mean to the point of not giving me time to read lines. Never questioned the bump on surface of my eye, but had to point it out. I will not be returning.

Staff was not knowledgeable or helpful with the insurance or picking out frames. The Dr. was fussing at his elderly employee loudly and everyone could hear him talking to her about not being able to know when to tell a patient on the phone to go the hospital or come into his office. After fussing at her (he was not yelling) but tone was firm, he told her Im frustrated and I will talk with you later about. Well, guess who was his next patient. Me and I felt all that negative energy. He was sharp with his speaking but kept his tone mild. I could tell he was still frustrated.Then the young lady that with was assisting me started being rude to me once I asked her if I could just pay for my exam because the total for the frame was $250 and that was without my insurance. She said that it was that price because they were out of my network that I could not use my full allowance of $130.00. I told her that I could not afford it and could I just pay for my exam. She said yes. And then I asked if I could get my measurements because she had just measured me when I gave her the frames I wanted. She yelled NO MAAM loudly. I said I cant get my measurements?? She yelled no again. I told her, but I just paid for my exam and I would like my measurements. She yelled Why, Why! I said because its my medical records and its my face! The doctor heard it all because by this time he is up there training the employee who he was frustrated with before doing my exam. She came back and sat down and I just said girl buy. There is a section on the prescription that is for measurements, therefore they gave me an incomplete script. IDC IDC thats not how you treat a paying customer. Never again. They all look miserable up there.

I made an appointment for my son. During the making of this appointment his age and date of birth were given. Nothing was said about my sons age during this time. Two weeks go by, and still nothing is said about my sons age. They even called yesterday to confirm my sons appointment for this afternoon, and still nothing was said about my sons age. Six hours before the appointment was to take place, they called and cancelled my sons appointment because they claim the doctor doesnt see kids under age 4. We have waited weeks for this appointment and youre just now telling me you refuse to see my son, who was referred by his pediatrician. Thanks for the poor service and the waste of time. I could have gotten my son in elsewhere. I will not be making an appointment with Americas Best for ANYONE in my family after his poor service!

I went to their branch at 12252 St Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044.I wrote a review for this branch previously and accidentally deleted it.I went there and ordered 2 pair of glasses that approximatelly costed me 200$. The glasses came in poor condition that I would not want to wear them. I returned the glasses and got refunded, except for the eye exam.Then I needed to have my prescription to order glasses somewhere else. I called them and they said they would mail it. I waited a month and nothing came in mail. I called again and they said, Im sorry they didnt mail the prescription to you. I saw a note to mail it but apparently they didnt mail it, but just put the prescription in your file. I will send it today to your addressI received the prescription in the mail today, after more than a month waiting. I am dissapointed in their service and I wont recommend this place to anyone. The lady on the phone and who would greet you when you come in was nice, though. She was the one that FINALLY sent my prescription to me.

I had to order my contacts in person because their credit card machine wasnt working properly. Even when I showed up it took a few tries to get my order processed. When you are used to ordering over the phone and having them arrive in the mail, this is a pain.
