The counselors are great Debra,Robin,Kirk, Shuron. they are sent by God. so glad I got to meet them these are the most wonderful counselors the rest are ehh. OH and how could I forget AMANDA she is very wonderful very helpful and very caring ❤

Loved this program. Caring staff & counselors. It was fun while teaching the tools needed to keep clean. I needed more time after detox in a safe place away from everything. I really cant say enough about post- I REALLY, REALLY liked it. They keep you busy with groups and activities. If you need help give CK Post a try. They gave me my life back!

This place changed my sons life! The counselors and the entire staff were extraordinary people. My son went in deep into his addiction. We as a family were broken. 28 day later we picked my son up and he was clean for this first time in years. His mind and body were so healthy. I will be forever grateful to everyone at Charles K Post.May God Bless You All!

Been there twice. So good the first time I went back.

I was at rock bottom in the year 2000 when my brother dropped me off the facility. I had been through 2 other country club facilities with NO lasting help. My brother had also been to C.K. Post so I was willing to try anything. When I arrived I thought that I was never going to see the outside world again but when I met the staff and saw the dedication and time they put in to their cause I was transformed. I let go and let God as the expression goes. With the help of these dedicated people I have been able to stay sober since. I owe 17 years of sobriety to them. My relationship with my friends and most importantly my kids is better than ever. They taught me that sobriety is a lifelong process and that there is Life after addiction. Ya gotta wnt it. Thank you all for my second Life.

I was a serious alcoholic. I nearly died 5 times from alcohol poisoning. I was in the ICU at Flushing Hospital. They suggested I Go To CK Post. Well after going there I was scaried straight. Its an intense program. Made to for people who want to quit drinking. The program goes like this you get up at 6:30 to take a shower and get your meds at 7:30 youre in the in the dining room seating breakfast from 8 to 9 youre allowed to go back to the dorm to clean make your bed after 9 they lock the dorm and you have to stand the recreational side till 4p.m. They literally lock you out of your dorm. Lunch is at 1145. After that they hold AA and NA group meetings. I would say its pretty military style. The men and women are not allowed to speak to each other ever. After receiving treatment at this facility I never want to go back there or join another program like this I quit drinking for the rest of my life this place makes you feel like youre in the military I was scared straight Thank God. I never want to have another drink and have to go through this again. EVER!!! EVER!!! I WAS SO HAPPY THAT MY TREATMENT WAS OVER THAT WHEN I GOT HOME I KISSED MY BED AND I THANK GOD THAT I WAS IN MY APARTMENT AND I NEVER WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER DRINK SO IF YOURE SERIOUS ABOUT REHABILITATION THATS THE PLACE TO GO. WHEN THEYRE DONE WITH YOU YOURE GOING TO APPRECIATE THE SMALL THINGS IN LIFE!!! And I guess thats what life is all about the little things we take for granted.

This program was amazing I went on to there halfway house and Ive been drug free for over 20 years thank you for the steps I needed to get my life back.

My daughter in 2010 went to NCMC they got her in New Hope in Freeport, from New Hope she got into CKP followed by Maryhaven Center of Hope - Mercy Hall for women. They all did good by my daughter, I thank them for all they did for her, she has grown and matured. Many many thanks to all of these places she has come a long way today!

This facility is garbage. Im clean, but i did it myself. Its dirty, theres centipedes coming out of the vents, the food is one grade above jail food, and a lot of the counselors think theyre COs. Worst rehab on the island.

I attended ck post they were very professional and took very good care of me I love that place thank you 4 years sober .
