MyNexus is a truly awful company with abhorrent business practices. myNexus puts their profits over patient care. myNexus would rather pay high salaries to their employees than pay for in-home health care workers. My mothers Medicare is managed by Humana who contracts with myNexus for management. myNexus has repeatedly denied in-home service even though she is a bedfast, non-verbal, stroke patient. It is shameful that a company like myNexus exists. My mother taught school and I am confident she made less money teaching than the heartless myNexus employees who deny her benefits. I regret I have to give myNexus even one star in this review.

If i could give negative stars i would. My dad had a major stroke. Doctor writes orders to Humana and my nexus denies. I talked to the director at amedsys and they try to get the orders approved and mu nexus denies. My mom received a letter stating she had enough help. Mean my brother which is off training for the army. Me which i have a 8month old and family and full time job. We are not therapists nor do we live there. This how they treat military vets that served this country. My dad is 100% disabled. Was showing improvement started to slightly move his right arm. Its sad all you want is for him to get into a wheel chair and not be bed ridden.
My patients never have positive things to say about this company. If your thinking of picking blue cross blue shield who seems to work with mynexus , take a look at whats covered. I have several cases where i witnessed denials of benefits forcing people home unprepared and not rehabilitated who otherwise would have gotten better if they used a different insurance.
I am a home health care provider. When I see that someone has myNexus I am immediately concerned. this company has a tendency to approve very little home health services to people who desperately need them. If you are looking at anthem, CSI or Humana, please reconsider and ask your insurance companies if they use my Nexus. If you need home health care and have an insurance company that utilizes myNexus you will not get the services you need!
Very poor service to patients, authorization for services are insufficient to improve patients quality of life and meet goals. They are servicing Humana, Aetna and BCBS

My wife was in ICU for 5 months. 3.5 months in SNF, then home. Doctor called for 13 weeks of home health care, PT and OT. After 3 weeks MyNexus denied her the remaining visits. She can not stand, walk, on her own and can not use her right hand. I would give this company a minus 5 if it were possible. They have overridden the doctors orders. When I filed an appeal and greivence they stonewalled the attempt to get care. Apparently they do not care about a persons health.
