I’ve been going to this gym for 11 years… it’s definitely had its ups and downs with turnover. They’ve really gotten it together this last year, even with the pandemic. They truly are an all-inclusive gym. One can pretty much find any type of group workout class & individual training here. I love the indoor swimming lessons for children and childcare !

The club seems okay until you are ready to cancel your membership. I was a member several years ago and the only way to cancel your membership was to write a letter and send it off to some other state.My wife decided to try the Discovery Bay location. They closed off and on during the pandemic and called us back in March or April to tell us they were opening back up. My wife was on a month to month contract. She told them to cancel her membership. The woman on the phone said sure, no problem. Weve been charged every month since. She has called over and over, nobody ever returns her messages. She finally reached them this morning and they told her she had to come in.Either they reverse the charges or the bank will. Dont get trapped in as a member of this club. You will regret it as soon as you want out.

Been coming here for over 5 years and our family loves it here. Well maintained, friendly staff, top of the line equipment. The owners are always making upgrades to the property which keeps the place nice and up to date. We had issues with the childcare at our previous gym and the childcare staff has been phenomenal! My kids have been coming here since 6 months and they still enjoy coming here.I recently signed up for MX4 and I must say, I really enjoy the workout. Coaches are motivating and you get a full body workout in 45 mins.

Horrible overcharged everything’s dirty no one cleans it super unprofessional! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY NOT WORTH IT! And the staff has major attitude problem one hit threatened to punch me in the face and lied about it horrible place

Called and emailed many times about pricing and membership. Not one person has called me back over a month now. Bad service.

Hard to find a locker, most are locked or out of order!Only 15 people in the gym at 7:45 AM but over 30 lockers are locked. Very sad, they use to unlock all locker when they closed at night, but due to staff shortage they dont!

Great swim my team lessons

I love love love this gym! Its got lots of room and is always clean when I go. They have a sauna, tanning available, a womens workout room, just to name a few of my favorite spots. Their service is amazing and their workers are always happy. I love going to this gym!

The gym is nice but the basketball court is in dire need of some structure and has been getting increasingly worse over the years. The only reason I have my membership is to have a place to play basketball and due to the lack of any structure it is getting increasingly harder for older people like myself to get in any games. Its dominated by a bunch of kids that know each other and if you are not in thier circle you might not get to play at all. The last 2 times I went I didnt get to play at at all and tonight I got to call next for 3 games in a row only to get passed over by the same 3 teams over and over again that would only play together . So the only way an adult gets to play is if I somehow bring 4 other adults with me which I dont have. So pretty much the same 15 kids get to play over and over and over and they dont even care about whats the right thing Im thinking about canceling my membership after 6 or 7 years of membership If there is no structure put in place.

My entire family has been members here for over 10 years and it never gets boring. They offer everything under one roof and there always making improvements whether its in interior, equipment or classes. Never boring!! The staff are always very helpful and attentive. My favorite is Kims Pilates Reformer. Shes a gem!!

STAY AWAY!!! I know from experience.My family and I have been members for 5 years. When we first came they were amazing, customers were valued, and they actually took customer service seriously. Over the years their customer service has deteriorated. Started when they stopped valuing members and started making decisions that were best for them. First they took half of the child care away, to rent for a preschool, second, family swim was now constantly interrupted for birthday parties, that people had to pay extra for. Third, all of the familiar workers were gone, I should have seen that as a warning, they were replaced with new people, then those people left, it is now a place of constant turn around.Lastly and this was the final straw. I went in today in light of all of that to sign back up because my wife has a class that she enjoys. Three weeks ago they quoted me a price, and today they would not honor that because a change has been made two weeks ago that I was not aware of. Michael the young man helping was kind, but unable to do anything. And so I terminated my contract with Delta Valley.Long story, short, Delta Valley is not longer worth the price. Go to Extreme Fitness or In-Shape. and save hundreds on your membership.

Nice gym!!!! TERRIBLE daycare manager. (Gloria)Gloria does not know how to treat kids at all, she always constantly says remarks about my daughter when my wife drops her off. Like oh here comes the cry baby. or is she gonna cry today . i think its very unprofessional for her to do this to a 1 year old. i have called and am waiting for a manager above her to call me back.My wife says when Gloria is not there she does very well but when Gloria is there my daughter has a hard time. i do not think this is OK at all, also my daughter came home with a bruise on her cheek with no report to my wife. My wife says she gets along with all the other day care workers except Gloria. i wouldnt be surprised if you asked other kids and they gave negative feedback on Gloria.I will be taking this complaint further to make sure no other kids are affected by Glorias poor attitude.

My husband & I have been going to the gym for about 13 years, and have enjoyed the facility very much. We attend the MX classes on a regular basis, and we get a lot of benefit from it. We really wanted to commend the front desk staff, Diane & Nadine, who are always polite & attentive no matter how busy they are. We are much appreciative!

Cool place

Been going to this gym for 6 years now and just love it. From the people, the the basketball gym, to the weight rooms. Everything is just so welcoming. When it comes to the weight, youre never having to wait for someone else to finish because theres just so much other stuff to do. The only thing I wish was different are the hours. But other than that, an amazing gym.

I weve been going here about a year and a half. I love how big it is, so theres almost always a machine available for what youre looking to do. Most importantly, the daycare is fantastic. They take kids younger than other gyms, the care is great, and the child care area is large with lots to do.

Swim classes for kids will cost you $0.8/hr, there are 25min classes of which your kid will swim only about half the time at the best. So quite expensive and very short lessons. I would like to see 40 minutes minimum classes with maximum of 25% rest time and no jumping. The showers at the pool have been broken for at least 2years ! Management seems to have no intention to fix them. Cleanliness is on average level.

Signed up to use the lap pool for health reasons at the time it was early in the morning and I found it to be quiet and nice the staff are nice and polite The nice part also is that they have in area for those who have little children the showers are cool and theres lockers and they also have soap and lotion For your shower in the shower that is😊

Aquatics shower (1 of 3) broken for 3+ months. Private parties block the learning pool all the time on the weekend. We have a family plan for a while. But when my brother is in town they charge us $15 extra.

I enjoy this gym for the amazing classes taught by the various instructor’s at DVHC, and my personal favorite is Moms in Motion. Also, the childcare is the primary reason, I stay at DVHC. It is a great daycare for younger children and the girls working in the daycare are great!

BEST HEALTH CLUB IN THE AREA! STAFF IS AMAZING! They really focus on getting their members to see results. Since joining Delta valley Health club in 2015 they have helped me achieve 75lbs weight lost through the 20/30 program , which help educate me on REAL FOODS! Then i kicked up a notch with MX4 Team Training. Im the healthiest and most active i have ever been ,THANKS DELTA VALLEY!

This is an amazing, huge gym. Large pool, golf simulator, rock wall, bike classes and awesome cardio area. Good pricing with incentives to work out and very nice staff.

I have been a member since they opened as Club 1. I have been a huge advocate for this club, I stayed through the recession, and when Diamond Hills (great club) opened which many left I stayed, in fact I liked it so much I opened and pay for membership for my staff. However, 4 days ago, I was told from the new Membership Manager, due to a new software in January, the way my account worked previously was now impossible and I would have to rewrite my agreement (which expires in 2018). Yes, and it would dramatically increase my price. Then Lisa followed up by email, which I appreciated because she was the only one to respond, but explained to me via email that policies change, ok but why should that be my problem? Even more disappointing I reached out to the club manager who after 4 days couldnt be bothered to even return any corospondance. Other members have been complaining about they have taken programs and sf away from the included membership for new fee programs. The front desk and membership is like a revolving door, if a little time and attention was spent treating long time loyal customers like me, it would seem to be cost effective customer retention. Instead they use ABC Financial (check out their poor reviews) to try to hold people hostage. Customer Service goes a long way, so disappointed the club that I have paid tens and thousands of dollars, huge advocate, first time ever expressing a concern, the manager could care less. Having my attorney draft a letter today to cancel my longtime membership due to their breach in contract.

Delta Valley gave me a pleasant working out experience, until I went to cancel. I had signed up for a month to month contract due to the fact that we may move.When I went to cancel they talked me into suspending my membership. With a screaming newborn and a hungry toddler I quickly signed and left. No one informed me that they would be automatically starting my membership in 6 months. I figured I could call if I wanted to restart It. I moved and never thought a thing about it.Once I saw the charges 6 months later, I called and they told me I would have to come in to cancel. ( I dont live in Brentwood anymore) I was also informed that they couldnt promise a refund, but they could give me a gift card. I said great.After going in, they told me someone would call about the refund. They never did, so after calling, I was told that no compensation would be given. They ended up charging me for the next month and they told me the reason was that I never paid the first and last payment when I signed up.... That was the incentive to sign up!!I find this very unprofessional. I only talked praise before about this gym, but I would never recommend such a money hungry type of business to anyone. All they needed was to give me a gift card like they offered and I would have left happily. A real shame. Beware, you cant trust a thing they tell you.

Hours are a little weird, most gyms are open a lot longer on Fridays and the weekend. In addition, the pool class times are awkward, having family swim half the day makes It difficult when you work in the morning. Normally, these alone wouldnt be enough for a low rating; however, combined with the high cost of membership they become a little ridiculous l.

Behind all the smiles comes the problems. My wife has been a member for close to two years. The thin and healthy group are grumpy and if you are any ethnic group that doesnt speak perfect clear english, you will receive less than adequate service. My wife requested her acct to be frozen (a service they do provide ) yet billing continued. They agreed to return the months of charges yet that hasnt happened. Im leaving this post today because we have had it. Taking them to small claims. I think they need a general manager replacement.

I have been a member of this club for many years. My current membership term will be my last barring a miracle. I have watched this club go from a quality establishment to a horribly managed dump. Many of the machines are inoperable and stay that way for weeks. The TV monitors on the machines are broken or operate poorly and the TV service has gone from mediocre to not worth watching.They are constantly adding machines that you must pay extra to use while removing machines that are free to use.The facility is falling apart. It is filthy, things like the shampoo and shaving cream dispensers dont work and the lockers are never cleaned.Finally, we live behind the facility and their trees were overgrowing the fence and literally falling onto our lawns (three different neighbors). We asked for them to address it for a couple months with absolutely no response. I finally called the facility manager directly and was treated very rudely. I had to call the city of Brentwood to get them to act. When they did finally act, instead of trimming the trees back they chopped them down to the stumps to spite us.I would never recommend this club and will not be renewing my membership with them.

This is NOT a meat market. The staff is excellent, the trainers wonderful. This is clean, tranquil, friendly. I wouldnt go anywhere else. AND they have soft water for the showers!

This is a good health club but I hate the fact they have their gym separated in two buildings. Both have class rooms and gym eq. Why not make 1 for class rooms and the other for gym eq? Price is right and daycare is great but I come for the gym and have had to walk back and forth between buildings 3 times in on work out.

My experience is based on the aquatic center. I signed up specifically for water aerobics. Im 64 and find the water exercise so beneficial for arthritis, flexibility and strength. I was told there was a heated indoor pool. The pool has never felt comfotable but it was bearable. First issue was our time was changed to a later slot, we adapted. Then our space was reduced and the pool has been cold even through this cold winter. Any discussion gets the same answer, we have no control, we have not changed anything.The next issue is the signing in, not only do we swipe our tag, but we must also sign our name legibly. If we dont our teacher will have to do it for us. It appears that Senior Citizens are not valued at Delta Valley. Even worse it feels like management is trying to get rid of our classes by making it unpleasant for us. I forgot to mention that we run out of towels now too. So frustrated.

Im getting weary of being kick out of half full lap pool by irritable staff and pool ladies. I shall be looking for a more friendly Club after more than 8- years of happy experience atThe Delta.

Been coming here since 2013 signed up for a family plan. My kids have been coming with me all this time to enjoy the facility. I came in today to workout and my son went to play basketball. During my work out the drill seargent from the front desk interrupts my workout to tell me my son is not on the account with me? I would of been ok if she didnt approache me like I was some sort of a criminal and drag me away from my workout to take me to the office to review my contract. Furious! First time in 3 years everyone else checks me in fine. Horrible front desk service!

Before I even start all the reviews on here are posted by the employees. By far the worst gym I have personally ever been to. Equipment is bent and broken, mirrors are cracked and just covered with plywood instead of replaced. Staff spends more time sitting in the front trying to get new members than cleaning or tidying up. Finally after having enough with the constant neglect and up keep of the gym I try to cancel my membership but I am told by Jesus the membership manager that my yearly membership was renewed instead of being month to month when I added a family member to my policy without my knowledge and that there is no way I can cancel. After a 2 week battle and having to talk to every manager I am finally told I have to pay a cancellation fee of $100. Fed up and sick of the battle I pay the fee and am told by Jesus that I am finally out of my membership yet when I check 3 weeks later I see they still are charging my account for a new month and again some how there seems to be no managers available to fix anything. This gym is the most corrupt and unprofessional establishment I have ever stepped foot in. If I could give this gym negative stars I would!

Not overly crowded, I am able to get to the stair master without having to wait to use it. Its nice and clean, nice workers, awesome group exercise classes, and good music.

Been going for 20 year now, and while the name and ownership has changed, still my favorite gym.

Horrible lap swim schedule! Make sure to check their pool schedule before signing up! After around 5 pm, there is only 1 lap lane available most of the time because of swimming lessons and master swim! I hate myself for signing a 3 year contract!
