I have suffered from severe TMJ pain for over 10 years. I am a high school teacher so I talk all day everyday. Last year my facial pain and tightness in my jaw was debilitating. I saw Dr Johnson for the first time in June of 2021. Prolotherapy has dramatically improved the quality of my life. The popping, clicking, jaw tightness and pain are almost completely gone. This process is incredible. I would highly recommend this treatment to anyone who suffers from TMJ.

We were going here and my wife did feel relief in her back. When working on her hips, she really believes this will help. The problem I had was, I left to go get coffee and he treated my wife like a child and yelled at her because she moved and even said we can stop right now !! When I came back he was all smiles but my wife was in tears. I watched her each visit take 40 needles and take the painful process. When we left she was so upset because he was so unprofessional. If your going to pray first before treatment, maybe write a book on the fruits of the spirit! Absolutely a miracle! I had 2 torn tendons and a torn bicep muscle in my shoulder. I was told by orthopedic drs only surgery would correct it. I decided to try Prolotherapy with Dr Johnson. Had 5-6 treatments with Dr. Johnson for hip pain. Saw absolutely no results. Stopped when he wanted to go to an even more expensive treatment. Complete hoax if you ask me. Theres a reason these treatments arent covered by insurance. And even more unsettling was that the doctor and nurse actually prayed over me for the treatment to work—a first for me. Never had a medical doctor or staff do that before. Perhaps they were praying that their hoax treatment would actually work.

Dr. Johnson provides medical care to my daughter. She recently finished her third and final round of prolotherapy for her ankles. Dr. Johnson and his staff provide the utmost of care and are very knowledgeable of their field. The recovery time for my daughter improved with each round of shots compared to the traditional method. We have never felt the wait time was excessive.

I went to see Dr. Johnson back in 2012 and 13 for severe issues with both my shoulders in the rotator cuff and labrum. Many years of playing baseball and weightlifting pretty much had destroyed both of my shoulders to the point where I could not even raise a water bottle up. I thought surgery and drugs were the only option. I went once a month from Atlanta to Nashville which is a 5 Hour drive each way to get the prolotherapy treatment. Approximately 11 visits later and six years later my shoulders are absolutely perfect. I can now do about 25 pull-ups in my first set with absolutely no pain in either shoulder I can throw a baseball or football again and have absolutely no limitations whatsoever with either of my shoulders. Miraculously, I stood up, walked outside and walked 3 sharply slanted lots over to a neighbor’s house. He was home (but normally at work!), calmly assessed me as he was educated to do and took care of me until help arrived after dialing 911. (Days later, I discovered he had been a first responder for years before retiring!). My daughter drove 2 hours crying from Nashville to be by my side, and my Mom arrived at ER in Winchester to be bmy side as well. After being airlifted to Vanderbilt, they followed the helicopter to Nashville to be there.To say I am blessed and grateful is truly an understatement. In the ambulance, I wanted to talk and words would not come out. Doctors could not decide which surgery to perform first: neck? shoulder? elbow? Less than twelve hours later, they walked into my room in the trauma unit, and said they were releasing me to go home in a neck brace without any surgeries! Super nice and pretty easy to get in within a week or so. Depending on where you get the shots it may be very mild to a little uncomfortable.. but they help with that. Ive gone a few times this year.. treated my left elbow, my left shoulder, neck, thoracic and lower back. The shots were the worst on my lower back just due to the larger needle.. but omg did they help. I wasnt sure if they were a gimmick or the real deal.. but Im convinced now they work. Its not over night depending on your condition, but it could bring 20-50 percent less pain within a treatment. At least it did for me. A few times I went after my back gave out and I was standing up again with little to no discomfort. The left elbow was the one that took the most treatments for me to respond to. I think I had 4 or more treatments there. My lower back has had 3, my neck and thoracic just 1.I went from a car wreck and not being able to lift 10 pounds without pain and my body breaking and stayin doped up almost a year on hydrocodone and flexeril daily.. to now lifting 70 pound deadlifts and bench presses and only needing a hydrocodone maybe once a month.They also recommend looking into hormone therapy. I was referred to a Dr who put me on trt and I believe between the two thats why Ive responded so well.Definitely give them a try!
