I enjoy the children here so much. The real story is they all think I am volunteering for them, but the reality is the children are teaching and blessing me instead.

The Village Community Resource Center was started in over twenty years ago as the result of the shooting death of a 15 year old young man. The community realized that something was needed to stem further problems and VCRC was begun.Today it serves many families, many of whom are recent immigrants and/or living on minimal resources, that rely on it for tutoring, homework help, weekly health clinics and a host of other services.Just a great place that is there to assist the underserved in our community.

The only center of its kind in the Far East Bay with great staff, volunteers, and board members.
