Hands down best salon on long island... They can pretty much do anything and Mireya is amazing at suggesting what is best for your hair. Ultimately she does what you want but she always looks out for what is healthiest for your hair, and that is something to respect. Ive been coming here since I was about 10/11 and I now bring my daughter and my boys to to get hair cuts at her sons Barber shop right next door

If you have short curly hair DO NOT GO. The cut I got was nothing at all like the picture I showed. Also they did a bad job of washing my hair - they basically just slapped on shampoo and rinsed. At least it was cheap

Mileya did an outstanding job and saved me at the last minute called in to make sure they would be able to take me in same day came within 10 mins. Definitely recommend.

Normally I would give 5 stars since I frequent this place. But today was different. The lady that did my hair seemed to be having hand cramps. Instead of passing me off she proceeded to rip chunks of my hair out, tangled it, literally fried my scalp and hair where I could smell it burned. Could not style it where the owner had to step in to try and fix the mess she had made. I love this place but that lady should not be doing anyones hair.

Id been looking for a gem like this. An authentic Dominican hair salon. Make sure you say buenos dias as you enter as per custom. If youve never had your hair washed by a place like this you wouldnt know..but 3 shampoos and a nice conditioning! Your hair feels soooo clean. Then the expert came over and trimmed my ends (which it seemed she could habe done with her eyes closed!) Mandi blowed dried as she made chit chat (in spanish) she sectioned my hair into tiny areas and paid close attention to each strand! Super straight, but bouncy and full of life. A new fave place for sure!! Annnnnnd it was only $45 bucks!

First time customer (Thursday, 7/30/20). I was extremely pleased in all aspects. The owner, Ms. Mireya greeted me, followed Covid-19 protocol by taking my temperature. Kindly consulted with me while recommending suggestions after I explained what I was looking to do with my hair. While taking the time, she advised and handled my curly frizzy hair and her overall suggestions were to my satisfaction! And more! ALSO so pleased with the highlights and cut! Ms. Jackie did a beautiful job with blowing my hair out and styling it. It’s as though they knew what I was looking for. On a personal note, I must say...they are ALL more than professional hair dressers. They are ALL very caring and compassionate individuals. They have gained a new customer! I went here to get an edgy pixie haircut, Bethania cut my hair she was really good. Super sweet woman. I would definitely recommend her for short haircuts.Im happy with my results.The salon itself is really beautiful, all the staff was friendly. Its a very welcoming atmosphere.

I had a really good experience. I came here for the first time 2 days ago, walked right in and they took me. I got my hair colored and a wash and set and I think it took only 2 hours. Ladies are so nice. They did an excellent job. The price is very reasonable. I recommend this to others for sure.

There is a real language barrier if you want any thing other than a wash and trim and / or set. I asked for layered bob. I had my dripping wet relaxed hair sheered off with the clipper machine on the back of my head (BALD)!The stylist covered it up! Never mentioned the mistake! I discovered ALL of the missing hair when I got home! My hair was like those cheep dolls without hair under the top layer! The only positive thing is the affordable price ( If you want to be bald )!!!!

If you like your curls DO NOT GO HERE. i was skeptical from the beginning and i should have gone with my instinct and walked out. the lady who did my hair snuck relaxer in my curls. i have been working on growing out my curls from the last relaxer i got and after 5 long years it was finally healthy beautiful long and all natural. but i wanted to straighten it for a party. worst mistake of my life was choosing this salon. What gives you the right!!!! to put relaxer in my hair WITHOUT MY CONSENT because you think my curls are too tight. SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE. never going there again and never going to ANY salon again. BEWARE curly girls. you hair is beautiful the way it is and do let ANYONE tell you different or ruin them without your consent. i advise you to not straighten or to do it yourself.I would sue them if i had proof. BUT if you don,t like your curls and you want to straighten them sure go there they will burn it pin straight and little by little leave you with no hair curly or otherwise. good for those who could care less about the health of there hair or for those who can take a firm stance and put them in their place from the get go. even still you run a risk

Mireyas hair salon is great. If you find yourself having too many bad hair days you should pay them a visit. No appts necessary, reasonable prices, and the results are endless. I was there today and went for coloring, wash and blow and was there a little less than 2 hours.

Friendly, fast and walk in service. I was very happy with the results. Will be going back.

I went in for a wash and set, and was in and out in less than an hour. Jackie styled my hair and gave me exactly what i wanted. Straight, straight, straight, hahaha! A wash and roll set, blow out roots was $30. There is a language barrier but nothing good old sign language cant fix, lol!

Don’t waste your time and money.This is the most unprofessional Dominican salon I ever been to.They only speak Spanish they use cheap products.It took 3 people to apply a color. After my hair was blown out it was dry ,brittle, and flat . Overall the workers have a attitude , including the owner , they use cheap products and the workers are unskilled.I will NEVER go back!!!!!

I wouldn’t even this place 1 star. Went for a touch up. ( bleach blonde) and left this place with BROWN hair. The owner claims it was a toner but that’s BS. SHE ALSO LET MY SCALP HURT SO BAD THAT I CRIED. Kept saying 5 more mins, after 5, 10 and 20 mins Stay away from this place. they are all unfriendly and the owner is rough when she touches/ washes your hair.

Its a nice bilingual place, the girls treat you well and the prices are fair. Only needs a little more ventilation.
