Absolutely fantastic help. I came in needing a pair of glasses fast and they delivered on a scale incomprehensible to human nature. Ill definitely be going to see them again the more my eyes grow worse with age.

I went in there today with my glasses in 3 pieces after going to 4 other places which all did not have parts to fix my glasses. It was going to take a week to 2 weeks to get a new pair in which I can not do without my glasses. They were able to fix my glasses and get them adjusted for me. I cant say thank you enough for the kind service I received from the entire staff. Also I loved how clean it was and the large selection of eye wear they have. Went into Ram optical today as a walk in, and they saw me right away. The front staff is so friendly, and the doctor is so nice. And I got my glasses the same day. This is the place to go! When it comes to glasses you can’t get cheap stuff, Ram Optical has good quality eyewear at great prices.

Went for exam and glasses for my wife and I. It was my wifes 1st pair of glasses. They tried to discuss our health and insurance in the main waiting area in front of other patients. When my wife complained the staff just laughed saying that they do it all the time, and its no big deal. The exam was handled professionally with my wife going first. While my exam was being done she was fitted for her glasses by the office manager. My exam and fitting were done, we paid and left. A week later my wife returned to pick up and check the fit on her new glasses. A few adjustments and they said she was good to go with my wife not knowing any better. Later that day my wife calls me (Im a otr trucker) complaining about how the only way she can see through her new glasses is by holding them an inch or so in front of her face. I tell her go to another eyeglass place and see if they can figure out the problem. 2 separate places tell her the same thing, the frames are way too big for her face and that put the lower bifocal lense down at her upper lip.I return with my wife to pickup mine and try to get hers resolved.They bring out mine and they are very thick lenses. I paid an extra $170 on top of the $150 that my insurance covered for new glasses to get the extra thin lenses. They tell me that I only paid for the thinner plastic lenses instead of the glass lenses and if I want the thinner lenses it would be an additional $147 charge. They tell my wife that her glasses only need a few adjustments and the office manager is the only one that can do it. Then they tell us that we would have to deal with the office manager to complain and get any issues dealt with regarding our problems but he wasnt there that day. He also wasnt there for the next month any of the numerous times one of us called or stopped in. We eventually gave up deciding that we wouldnt waste any more money there ard find a different place for next year. I continue to use my old glasses because I have come to realize I have other problems with my new ones, and my wife continues to use drugstore reading glasses.Update to the reply.. Checking my records my wife and I actually paid you $185 instead of $170, and the insurance company doesnt understand why I paid that much when they looked at their records. Also the insurance company and the US Dept. of Health and Human Services dont agree with your interpretation of the HIPAA laws. Also an ultrathin lense, as you call it, was never even mentioned by you. Thats what I thought we were originally.

Tried to support my local area business for my eye exam, but disappointed! Equipment didn’t work properly (tonometer only functioned for one eye), discounts calculated incorrectly (ended up having to void out transaction where I was overcharged by $30+ dollars). Staff members apathetic and unconcerned. Doctor seemed competent and friendly, but front office staff and assistants clearly need Cust Service refresher!

Worst optical had been too.Frames not cheap, but cheaply made. Suppose to have been thatFlexion material but far from it. Within 2 days arm fell off and outcame the glass. The nose piece came off and they were going tocharge to replace it. Now the glass has fallen out again. Also theydon t adjust the frame, just here they are. Well I will not go backand neither will several friends

I had something irritating my I went in for a visit and the doctor removed what turned out to be a piece of metal splinter in my eye in less than 5 minutes I started feeling better got me medicine for my eye and on the way to recovery and for a reasonable price only cost me 75 bucks and $4 for the prescription at Walmart overall really good deal really nice place really nice people thank you everybody over there

Didnt see 30 years of experience as advertise in the phone book. The lady that gave me an eye test was a joke and was friendly as a mistreated pitbull dog. Took 4 times to get the glasses close to being right. 90% of the time I wear glasses that are 10 years old from TSO to get clear and fuller vision. The place is a waste of time and money and they werent all that friendly the third and fourth time when it started costing them money for their mistakes. By far I found Texas State Optical to be subperior to Ram Optical and Superior Optical located in Brenham Texas.

My partner and I came to support local business in my hometown even though we spend a good amount of time in the city of Austin, we stopped at this location because they take my insurance and prices were cheap for sure but as someone who works in customer service the vibes and atmosphere were most definitely not very friendly compared to former experiences Ive had at other locations, this is definitely not the best eye appt Ive ever had.

I bought a pair of glasses here that I have had for many years and have really loved! Sadly, they were sat on and bent badly out of shape. Carrina very carefully put them back in shape. She was friendly, quick to wait on me and showed great professional skill.I walked in thinking my favorite glasses were ruined but I walked out a very happy customer because of her great help!!!Great glasses that last a long time!!!Great service to fix them!!!!! Great place to go for glasses!! A+
