Was by far my best dental appointment ever.....staff was amazing,in all regards. They were polite, helpful and answered any questions or concerns I had. They made me feel like I. Was there most important customer ever. I was used to a small dentist office with a family type atmosphere. Aspen employees at the Brattleboro Vermont office made there big office feel as if it were a safe family place.. Im so grateful for there attention to detail my safety and the quality of there work. In my opinion the prices are cheap ,for the work and treatment you receive there and recommend them to everyone

Nothing bad to say from first calling to make an appointment to conclusion of my visit. Someone named “Jill” (in Indiana!) was the helpful, very pleasant person who made the Appt for me for the next day. I live in Vermont. All personnel at the facility couldn’t have been nicer & more considerate. My only problem is the cost of getting the repair needed and the “estimate” for future work. I’m certain this is the same no matter where one goes today, but very tough for the elderly who live strictly on social security. The total for recommendation of work needed came to $9,000+….with an “estimated” discount of $1,578.15(?)…bringing total to $7,599.85. Completely un-doable for someone on a very fixed income. Not their fault. Just not remotely a possibility for many, many seniors.

The folks at Aspen Dental in Brattleboro, VT were wonderful. Dr. Z and her team were personable, practiced and professional, leaving me wishing they would move to my home town. For this summer visitor, they could not have done any better than they did. My sincere appreciation for the help.

I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and was not disappointed. My dentist was direct and to the point, but made me feel at ease with every step we took because she took the time to explain not only what was was going to happen, but also why we needed to take certain steps. I look forward to having all my dental woes addressed and remedied here going forward. I will recommend this particular Aspen Dental office to all my friends and family.

I was disappointed at first that my tooth could not be pulled on 8/13, but once I understood the situation I was grateful for the care I received. Dr. Z asked me to get checked by my Primary care doctor due to extreme high blood pressure!My tooth extraction has been rescheduled to the 18th, and fillings to follow.

Will not ever come back here. After work was done I was told I owe nothing and had a credit. Then I started getting bills. Was told again they would look into it and after they looked into it my bill increased. Got root canal and a crown. tooth still doesnt feel right. I have had root canals before. And there is no way I will have them look at it again. Most of folks there are ok. But I leave owe nothing have a credit and go to owing. And have to lay for a temporary crown that lasted less than 24 hours. Ugggg doesnt even cover the frustration.

Dr Patel or Dr “Z” as she is known, is a fine dentist and takes the time to clearly and thoroughly explain what she is doing and why... and then goes about it effectively and rapidly... hence I gather the nickname “Dr Z” would come for the sound of her & her mind ‘whizzing’ through problems to come about with the best solution as she moves from one patient to the next.Alyssa is one of many fine assistants who was in perfect sync with Dr Z during my three cavities that were all taken care of today.In my last visit Coleen arranged for me to receive a senior’s discount for a crown and suggested using a Dental Care plan as I had two crowns that were needed ~ all these steps are working out and ... soon I’m advised they will are adding a dental assistant for cleanings instead of requiring clients to go to Keene for this service as that was required this past year.All in All a fine experience.Grateful I heard about them.

I have been going to Aspen for the last five years and have had a good experience each time. They are upfront and honest, no unnecessary fillings.

Dr.Z was very rude and condescending when i questioned why i was having so much pain. As a Dr. She should be understanding and willing to answer questions not take it personally when her work is being questioned. Especially when i had to correct her on which tooth lost its filling. Very disappointed in her attitude and unprofessionalism. I recommend going elsewhere. Also was more exspensive than originally quoted. So frustrated right now.

Everyone from the office staff to the Doctor are fantastic. They explained everything to me, took their time and eased my fears.

My husband had his wisdom teeth extracted recently and his experience was less than satisfactory. The doctor had no bedside manner, he cracked another one of my husband’s teeth while pulling one of his wisdom teeth, and never prescribed him pain medication afterwards! He has a rare form of epilepsy and after being in excruciating pain for hours, ended up having multiple seizures that could’ve killed him. I called the “emergency” line they provided in the post-op paperwork multiple times only to have the on call doctor never call me back. Very disappointed in Aspen Dental and we will never go back here after this

My experience was EXCELLENT! Although my wait time was a bit long, once I was taken in for my appointment everyone was more than helpful, pleasant and very accommodating. The office staff was super helpful and Dr. Alex was warm, very clear about explaining everything, gentle in my mouth. I felt the Covid protocols were very well observed and the office was very well run. The office manager was particularly helpful and she went above and beyond in explaining payment options and breaking down the future procedure for me. I will be using Aspen Dental forever!!!

My appointment itself (well before Covid) was great - I was actually surprisingly pleased, and my only concern about the appointment itself was that I wasnt told that I was getting an elective service not covered by my insurance prior to actually getting it.Then the trouble started. I received a bill, sent a check. I received another bill, sent another check. I sent THREE separate checks for the same amount, and theyve now sent me to collections. For $32.00

The people and dentists that work at Aspen Dental are wonderful!! Polite and caring. I barely sat in the waiting room. Very clean and all equipment was clean as soon as it was done being used. No scare of COVID here! I have quite a few dental issues. These issues where explained well and we are added the most severe issues 1st. Any dental procedure is expensive, they set up a payment program easily and quickly.

Terrible experience, the worst. This is why people dont like dentists. Painful, insensitive, and incompetent. Misdiagnosis, MISSED-diagnosis, and completely unhelpful. But hey, at least you can get all that for free if you only go there once

The administration and staff were very professional and friendly while treating my issue. I needed a crown and was examined and prepared by the dentist and the staff without pain or anxiety. I can recommend Aspen Dental in Brattleboro without hesitation.

My experience at Aspen Dental in Brattleboro was pleasant from start to finish. They were able to schedule me in for a next-day appointment to fix a loose cap on my dental implant, whereas other dentists in the area couldn’t see me to weeks. They fixed my tooth for less than $100 and also provided information about a plan of care to take good care of my teeth and gums. The staff were professional and courteous. Thank you!

Just wanted to make a special mention of the DA, Alyssa, who has cared for me my last two visits. She is an exceptionally professional young woman who does awesome work, also very friendly and sweet.

They dont have a dental hygienist on staff, they damaged my gum doing x-rays and a scan and then told me I had cavities my dentist somehow magically didnt see at my last cleaning 6 months ago. They then told me I needed to see an oral surgeon for something that has been on my x Rays since I was a teenager and no other dentist has ever mentioned it. They seem pretty money grabbing to me, my insurance covers preventative measures at 100% yet they quoted me $57 for a cleaning. They said two cavities would cost $100 and Im not sure I believe I actually have cavities where they say I do, my previous dentist said I had one, I knew about it, he said its common to get them there after having braces. Money grabbing I think, Im getting a second opinion with my secondary insurance.

Being an apprehensive patient the staff very quickly put me at ease. From meeting staff in the front office to having my Xrays done and Dr Z for performing a difficult extraction. They all let me know I was their prime focus. I will continue to receive my care here with confidence. They are a great professional team! I definitely would recommend the Brattleboro VT office. Waist of time and left in pain. I needed emergency an emergency extraction. I was sent from one town to the next with a promise of an appointment an hour away. After the consultation they wouldn’t do the procedure because they didn’t accept the same terms as the one in my city

I am a very, did I say very, dental phobic woman- this stemming from early childhood experiences with heavy-handed, uncaring dentists in the 1960s......need I say more...... so when I had a broken tooth that needed extraction, I was petrified. I went to another clinic for a consult, and their staff was lovely but their prices were absolutely incredible!When I contacted Aspen Dental Brattleboro, I was very nervous. However when I arrived on the day of my extraction, I discovered that everyone was understanding and accommodating......from the nice Reception Staff ( Am sorry I have forgotten the nice ladys name), to Dr. Alex Mitchell and his Dental Assistant, Alyssa. He was very patient and calming, as was Alyssa, throughout the procedure. That meant a great deal to me, as it was a make it or break it situation for if I were to ever return for future dental work. Both of them were genuine, and very careful with me.Colleen, who manages Billing/Accounts was tremendous as well, and made it affordable for me to get the procedure done.As this is a service industry I felt all the staff treated me respectfully and took the time to treat me as an individual, listening to my needs. Due to these important attributes, I will be back in the future, to attend to other dental issues I have.Thank-you everyone at Aspen Dental!

In a Society of im sorry that person is new; Everyone at Aspen Dental was like a breath of fresh air, in a time of pandemic pandemonium, From my initial call on Monday with Stephanie, who listened to my semi urgent request by finding me an appointment for the NEXT day, Tuesday 8/25 ! I was pleasantly surprised ,& Everyone in Brattleboro were Curtious & Professional They found me an appointment for Both of my Pre- Surgery requirements , extractions Tomorrow,08/27 & then 2 days before my hip replacement on Sept.2nd,Gum-scaling on 08/31 !!...my only disappointment(not at Aspen) is that Aspen doesnt take my Insurance,...so Now I have to start over with another dentist, which Ive learned that my Insurance is only taken by one Dentist office even remotely near Keene N.H....Also That Dentist office Couldnt even give me an ESTIMATE on when I could get an Initial visit when I called them yesterday!!! ....Aspen Dental is the ONLY Dentist that I would ever spend my $$ with!!!! If I had any....Thanks Again

I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist office. Thats the only reason I didnt do 5 stars. However, the service is 5 star plus. I recently got my upper done by Dr. Alex and the dental assistant, Alyssa(Amanda? Im ashamed that I cant remember her name) and they were wonderful throughout everything. Dr. Alex was amazing. Best dentist Ive ever had. Alyssa calmed my nerves through everything. Simply wonderful person. Everyone is so pleasant and accommodating when it comes to nerves. Dental work is super expensive, but my experience with it was positive, because they helped me figure out options. Thanks, Aspen team 😊

The young lady who cleans my teeth is hands down the very best hygienist that I have ever had. Since I am 79 years of age, that is saying a lot. She is thorough, pleasant, professional and funny. Aspen is very, very lucky to have her.

I went to Aspen Dental to find out about a new set of dentures. The whole process was very good. Dr Alex and Alyssa listened to my concerns and answered all my questions and were very friendly and made the process easier .Colleen The manager was very friendly and explained the options and financial end of things very well. The appointments were made quickly I was completely happy with them.

I felt comfortable with the staff there. All were pleasant. I havent been to the dentist in years and no one scolded or judged me.

Went to aspen yesterday to see if they could pull a tooth after spending a hour at another dentist office in Brattleboro VT who Said they could not numb the tooth that it was a hot tooth and tried to pull it not numb at all! Was told I would not be able to get it pulled unless I was put to sleep! I have bad anxiety I went to ASPEN right after they took me right in the dentist was very funny and outgoing and with in 15 minutes that tooth was numb and was pulled out!!! I was very disappointed in my visit. I was coming in as a new patient expecting a cleaning, x-rays, and wanted to have them look at a specific tooth that’s been bothering me.They did take a comprehensive set of digital x-rays, but did not clean my teeth. The dentist gave my teeth a cursory glance and then spent most if his few minutes with me telling me why I needed to have my teeth scaled. At a significant out of pocket expense. I should have got a clue when one of the first pieces of paper they gave me when I arrived was about financing options.The atmosphere was generic, at best. The attitude was insincere and I felt like I was being processed rather than serviced.

I got in extremely quickly. The xrays were done and immediately reviewed by the dentist. I was able to schedule my cleaning same day and walk away with a care plan for the next 4 months. Great staff :)

After years of living without dental insurance I made an appointment with Aspen Dental because they offered the lowest price for an extraction. I was so impressed with the friendliness of the Doctor and staff, the cleanliness of the office, and the ease of scheduling appointments. When I finally reached the point where I could afford dental insurance we came up with a treatment plan. I had to have a crown, a filling here and there, and most recently, be fitted for a top plate. Its been a long process but my only regret is that I couldnt start it sooner. I feel healthier and am actually willing to smile now!

I took my daughter here yesterday and I had my own appointment today. First, my daughter honestly loved it. She loved her hygienist, who was so great. She was kind and informative and made my daughter feel comfortable. My appointment went well, too. The people here really make you feel comfortable, and I get really nervous about dental appointments. Theyre understanding and friendly and do a great job of explaining everything. I feel really good about choosing this place and am so grateful for all of the friendly people working there.

I always loved the service I received there, but Ive been receiving bills for over a year and a half about a service that they told me was covered by my insurance. I called my insurance again today only to hear that Aspen still hasnt filed the claim yet. Ive called Aspen at least a half dozen times asking them to file the claim. When I tried to give them the PO box to mail the claim to, they told me that they knew how to reach insurance companies and wouldnt write down the address. Im disappointed in the office staff and cant express my frustration with them enough.

My dentist retired a few years ago, so I was without a dentist or insurance. I broke/chipped a tooth so I went to Aspen not knowing what to expect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they have several options to pay. I haven’t had the work done yet, so I will write another review when the work is done.

Gayle, my dental hygeinist, is an amazing angel. I started seeing her three years ago after a lifetime of so much dental work. She is a detail oriented teacher - she showed me exactly how to floss so that it would be effective instead of just injuring my gums like a had been doing. She never makes you feel guilty or scolds you - she is just so encouraging. She truly loves making teeth clean. She puts a fluoride treatment on my teeth when I see her. Also, she is kind and funny.But, best of all, this year I had no cavities for the first time in my life. I was pregnant this year, and pregnancy can be hard on teeth, and I was nervous because one of the most important predictors of childhood cavities is cavities in the parents. I didnt want my baby to have the problems I have had! I honestly never thought that I could get to a place where I am not scared to go to the dentist and where I know I can say I am taking care of my teeth as well as possible. I am sure I would not have been able to get here without Gayle. Thank you, Gayle - you are the very best.

I had to go for an emergency front tooth flipper fix. Everyone was wonderful and my dental hygienist was so careful and meticulous about creating perfect fit. It is a front tooth and she cared more about it that my previous dentist ever did. I will probably switch to Aspen :)

I have super high anxiety about dentistry.I have been to plenty of dentists who do not know how to deal with people with anxiety disorders.That being said, from the second I walked into the office I knew it would be different. Everyone was kind and knew when I needed a second to calm myself down instead of rushing to get the job done and move on. I willingly drive an hour and a half to go there.

My husband purchased a full upper denture and lower partial at another dental office 6 months ago, from the day he got them, they never fit, and he hated the way they looked. We brought them into the office and the doctor and assistant were extremely kind, and understanding even when his frustration came out. They took the time to listen, and explain everything that they were going to do. They told us that they would try everything in the abilities to make the denture as comfortable as HE wanted it. After about 30 minutes of adjusting and retrying it in, he was able to finally walk out into the world with a smile on his face for the first time in almost 3 years. We are forever gratefull for the staff and the Doctor who made it possible for my husband to smile confidently again.Thank you so much Aspen Dental.

Easily one of the best dental practices Ive frequented. The staff is caring and thorough, their priorities are clearly on helping their clients while providing a friendly environment. They talk through what is happening in your mouth with you, and prioritize solutions that work for you over making a quick buck via expensive unnecessary procedures. I would (and have) recommend this branch of Aspen Dental to friends and family.

Similar experience to many other reviewers: gracious staff, but had the sense I was being swindled. I too was told I needed thousands of dollars worth of work, when in reality most of the work they said I needed was extreme and unnecessary. Second opinions after the exam- highly recommend seeking them.

Let me tell u about my experience @ Aspen Dental. First off the inside of the building is awsome. So first off they took more x-rays and that ive never ever had so many taken for a check up. I thought that it was awsome cuz by doing that they could see everything going on with my teeth. Plus the women doing the x-rays was very nice patient and funny. I was there late in the day so that by the time I left it was dark. The women doing the x-rays told me she had been working all day. She made me feel comfortable in this strang place. Next was the dentist who told me that he loved questions so I got all my questions answered and also I was able to figure out what I wanted done. The dentist was awsome and very thoural. Next was I met Collen who was a hoot. We laughed together and she made me have security and trust in Aspen Dental cuz she took the time to show me models of what I will have done. She went over everything bit by bit answering all my concerns. She was funny,sweet, and very positive about everything. At the end of my appointment I felt good about my decisions and felt happy cuz I left with all the things I wanted plus way more. I feeling very positive about spending thousands of dollars to have a pretty smile for once in my life. When I got to Aspen Dental for my appointment I felt embarrassed cuz my teeth are in really bad shape plus Im missing a lot of teeth. But the wonderful people who work there made me feel like they supported me and that I was important and that they are here to make my dreams come true. Really really really. It was the best dentist experience ive ever had. So please go and see for yourself. I went to the one in Brattleboro Vermont. Teeth are very important to people everyone wants a amazing sexy smile I know I definitely do. Its worth it. I cant wait for me to have a white sparkling sexy smile. And Aspen Dental is going to make it happen. Oh baby!

I was new in town a year ago and had an old army issue crown come off I went to aspen it looked like a nice place the recemented the crown and charged me for a visit. I was still moving and have not been back till about 11 months after my first visit that was great. On my return to recement the same crown I’m waiting for the VA to fix. I had to fill out all the paperwork again I got an X-ray and told the nurse I needed more work and asked to X-ray then now I said no I would wait till I came back. Well I slept in the chair for a half hour the dentist came in looked at my crown said he was going to use good cement to hold it cause not much left to bond it to so he set it with temp cement. And I checked out. $290.00 wow. Crazy. Then got a crazy bill said I had credit for $189.00 and some other stuff I did not understand well chrome fell off in an hour. Went back the girl out front was not hearing what I had to say and $290.00 was the cost to glue a crown with 4 X-rays I had one I got $39 buck back a mistake so $251.00 to glue a crown for ten minutes. A big let down now I’m looking for a new dentist cause I got ripped off. The girl out front said do I want it for free. To be a dentist is expensive. Goodbye. Lost a good customer.

Scam artists, be on high alert!My boyfriend needed to get a tooth pulled, he was in excruciating pain that OTC pain killers wouldnt touch. We settled for Aspen Dental because of the emergency status of getting this taken care of, I wouldve avoided it like the plague otherwise, seeing as how theyre all about making money, not helping the patient.We scheduled the first available appointment which was the next morning at 830 am. We both work nights and I have a sleep disorder, so getting in that early was a struggle for us, but we needed to get it done. He made it very clear over the phone that he needed a tooth pulled asap, that was the entire point of the visit. They brought him in and wasted an hour of both of our time (while I was basically trying not to fall asleep in the waiting room) attempting to sell him $9,000 worth of unnecessary dental work (something they are well known for doing when other dentists will follow up and disagree). Then they quoted him $300 for the tooth pull (more than twice the price quoted on the website) and refused to set him up for a payment plan because he has a tip based income rather than pay stubs. So they rescheduled him for 11am, meaning we couldnt get this done and go home and get sleep before work. We had to go home, get $300 cash, and come back, effectively eating our entire morning when we normally sleep and prolonging the pain of the tooth for hours.The procedure itself was quick but notably rough across the board. Just hoping it heals alright and we can avoid this place in the future. They bank off poor people with no insurance who dont have the time or access to better dentists to shop around, and try to rope you into agreeing to thousands of dollars worth of debt but then refuse to let you finance $300 for what you actually came in to do. Total scam.

First visit was free and very thorough. We created a hygiene plan to maximize my smile. The dentist was very receptive to what my priorities are and it was very relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be switching over to Aspen Dental now.

I have EDS type 3 and have had dental issues because of it my entire life losing many teeth and having many extractions. Dr Akbar Saleem is the best dentist I have ever seen for an extraction hands down. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth it though? Absolutely. I have none of the jaw discomfort that usually comes with this. Highly recommend.

Our initial experience was very good--pleasant staff, knowledgeable providers, good prices. They recommended follow-up dental care, complete with a price list. Good enough.BUT, when I called recently to schedule just a cleaning, they refused to provide the service until we completed the other dental care they had recommended. I explained that we had had serious medical issues since the previous appointment and could not afford the larger dental procedures at this time and just wanted a cleaning, they still refused, saying its policy.I have never been to any medical provider of any kind who tried to dictate what treatment I had to have and then refused to give me any service if I did not comply.It feels as if the staff is trained to be nice to draw people in and then hit the client with required follow-up care. Many people will find that hard to refuse--who likes to stand up to someone so nice?!?--but I think its a big scam. I will never ever step foot in this place again...be careful if you do.

They hurried me in for a tooth extraction and the dentist was warming up his car before I left the office. They have no off-hour coverage for issues and the hours for some locations is inaccurate. Not a good experience.

Dr. Christy was very helpful and pleasant. Explained everything so you could understand what was going on. I would recommend him to people I know. Thank you.

My experience at Aspen Dental was excellent. The staff, both administrative and dental, were extremely knowledgable and helpful. The office assistants were patient, kind and knew how to answer my many questions. I give them 5 stars!

Went to see Gail to have scaling done for pre-periodontal disease treatment and she was wonderful! Very professional and down to earth, explained everything to me, and had a great personality! As far as the procedure went it was a little uncomfortable but so are most things at the dentist. After about a week I noticed that my gums which had been red and sore for the last year work now pink and healthy and clean! Thank you Aspen Dental and Gail.

The dentist was great..the financing person quoted me prices but neglected to see that I had brought in a coupon for services. The prices she gave me were not what the coupon said and Im pretty sure I was charged wrong for 4 extractions. Not sure if they are out to get money...but it will be a while before I am able to get anything else done unless they go by the prices I was suppose to be charged.

Convenient, easy to work with, and very friendly. As others have mentioned, no superior attitude re why havent you blah blah blah before now. And the price is much better than Ive ever seen. No dental insurance has ever covered anything important, but for once I dont fear being financially ruined because of dental work.

I really loved it, the people there were so great and such good personalities. I left there in a way better mood then when i came in. looking forward to my next visit.

The staff here is fantastic; both administrative and medical. Dr. Yelle has the gentlest touch for people like me who get extremely anxious from dental visits, but every dentist here has been patient and understanding in the fullest.

Im about to get a bunch of dental work here and so far the experience has been amazing ...free exam and x rays to start and a great price on my work to be done ....both on the custom dentures and the implants . Im looking forward to having my face back along with my confidence.

Unexpected complications with a broken tooth popped up last week and the staff at Aspen Dental-Brattleboro immediately made time for me and practically painlessly fixed me right up! Professional, clean, efficient, and friendly, with their individual personalities in tact. Thank you! And good job to all! Will definitely be back. The staff is great called and in one hour I was in foe an appointment doctor Saleem was so great I had to have a tooth removed and I was so scared but every few seconds he or his nurse was telling me it was OK and the front desk was just as wonderful being out of state with a hurting tooth was bad but they made it a good experience thank you from front desk nurses and yes Dr Saleem thank you
