I called this morning to schedule an appointment with them and luckily they had a cancelation and I got in today! There was a decent line inside so Id recommend you make sure youre early, but other than that I was in and out very quickly. The staff was all very nice and the doctor seemed very competent. I came in for dental work and I always hate seeing a dentist but they didnt make it any harder than it needed to be. I was out with a prescription and a follow up appointment scheduled 20 minutes after my appointment time. I got the notification form my pharmacy that theyd received my prescription about 2 hours later

Called them at 11am in an attempt to set an appointment after 30 minutes they told me to just come in and call when I arrived. Since Im running a fever. Once I arrived I spent 20 minutes on the phone getting bounced around from 1 confused person after the next. It took 90 minutes for someone to come out here to administer the test. I have now been waiting for the results for over an hour going through cold and hot flashes in my car because I was told to not leave.

I dont understand why I should wear a mask if Im fully vaccinated. Not to mention I was here last Friday setting up an appointment with my mom without wearing a mask. That just doesnt make since.

This facility is being held back by some of the receptionists who makes the appointments, I witnessed discrimination while sitting in there waiting room and my wife was discharged with the wrong paperwork by the same individual after she was supposed to be sedated for operation . I made an appointment my self for a cleaning but again my information was incorrect also. She Was discharged w/o service and the referral was never made for her emergency surgery . Shes in severe dental pain

Found staff to be very friendly and helpful! Doctor was very through and took time with the patient... answered all questions.

I called the clinic because my son came home with a letter from his school saying he came into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. I asked to bring him in for a test. They told me I couldn’t bring him because he didn’t have any symptoms! I then said, we’ll what if he’s a-symptomatic and has no symptoms! She says she’s just telling me what they told her! She then tells me to take him to the old farmers in Jackson to test him! I told her I didn’t know where that was and could I get the address! She tells me she don’t know the address!🤦🏾‍♀️ I hate that place! This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience there but I can bet it’ll be the last!! I’m done! They need to be re-evaluated by the state to make sure their operating property because I’m sure they took their tests online!!

My things are the payments. I was told it’s 25.00 every time you see a doctor. I went to get my annual testing done and I thought I would only pay the 25.00 fee and that’s it. I received 2 different huge bills from this same company. No one ever told me that I would have to pay extra money for testing because I wouldn’t have even Came here. I would’ve went to my normal physician and waited on her. But I decided to come here which was a total mistake. And I will not be coming back. Let your future patients know that you guys charge a additional fee beforehand so that they won’t be stuck between a rock and a hard place 🙄UPDATE: Don’t ever come to this clinic. I still haven’t had my issue resolved and they keep transferring me from one line to the next. The only way I’m getting transferred is because no one is answering so I keep having to call front desk!!I’m on my third notice with this lab while no one is trying to handle this problem or take it seriously.

Due to my insurance, I was required to go to this clinic to get a referral to a specialist. I attempted to make the appointment within the same month I called. They were full and I was given an appointment 6 weeks later, but was told I could try for a walk-in slot. I waited for almost 2 hours on my appointment day and was finally seen and given my referral. I was told that it would take up to 48 hours to show in the system to get my referral appointment. After the 48 hour period, there still was no referral coded in the system. I called and after being passed through several representatives, I was told it was NEVER placed in the system. The representative then placed it in the system and it showed up immediately on my insurance portal. The clinic itself is very unorganized and has staff that seem unhappy to be employed there. After this appointment, I switched to a different clinic (Merit Health) within my insurance that was in Flowood and have not had an issue. Serious intervention needs to take place with this business. It makes me sad that patients are not priority. The outdated building and wait time could easily be better accepted by patients if excellent care and customer service were offered.

This use to be the best facility to come to. In and out fast with caring nurses and doctors. Now it takes an hour and a half to be seen even tho your the first person there when they open. Nurses don’t know what they are doing. Doctors are never seen. Why does this facility even exists anymore when they make me take a sick day just to get a shot for my child and the shot record!!!!

Call on 12-17_2020 and all doctors and nurse practitioner are all out and not accept no body whole week they should be ashamed to do this kind of mess to patients when sick they need be shut down and the people are rude on phone when you call .it like they dont care and need be replaced by professional workers guess they on strike cause covid and getting their vaccines

Why schedule appointments when you still have to wait 2+ hours to see a doctor. I miss Dr. Allure, Dr. Eakin, and Dr Robinson. Maybe taking a 1 1/2 hour drive to see Dr. Robinson is worth the trip. It sucks here now.

One word....TIME!!!! if you are short on it or ready to just get home, DO NOT THINK ABOUT COMING HERE...I have a simple sinus infection and in need of antibiotics...I waited until 8 am in the parking lot to go check in, the front desk receptionist who is always there unlocked the door and 2 people were ahead of me..we proceeded inside and she was on her phone having a conversation loudly on speaker...she told us to take a number and sit in the waiting room!!! Seriously?! You JUST OPENED and you have the nerve to sit on your phone and tell us to wait?! Finally got up there, eventually got in the back and sat for 15 minutes for my name to be called...currently placed in a room for 30 minutes and not a nurse has been in to check on me or give me a prescription! I JUST NEED MY ANTIBIOTICS!!!

I got there today at 8:30am. Left at 12:30pm. Employees were nice. Wait time was ok. The NP was very nice ..I left and went to Pharmacy to pick up Script(antibotic) not there..Nothing called in..Tried calling the Clinic over and over..no answer..Finally left the Pharmacy and went back to clinic to find out about script. After some checked, I was told they closed at 5 and would call it in then..After an hour of calling the pharmacy, I called clonic again. Was transferred over to afterhous person..they told me that the Doctor said to give it 30 min. To an hour and check back at pharmacy..well by then pharmacy will be closed at 6pm.. So no Med. TODAY..😱😱 just call and told me meds were sent to another pharmacy...😱

Dr. Margaret PowellWe had an appointment at 9:30am and we were not seen until 11:20am. “Dr” Margaret Powell (more like an overpaid babysitter not a doctor) only had 3 other patients before us and 2 in the waiting room. It was NOT busy at all. Parents were standing in the halls asking each other if they had been seen because she had not acknowledged any of them for over 2hrs. When she FINALLY came to our room she instantly refused to refill my 5yr olds pain medication for his BROKEN ARM. When I started to ask why the ER would direct me to her for a refill she got up from her chair without saying ONE word and walked out never to return. Dr Margaret Powell was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I would NOT suggest you bring your child to her for care. And they still charged me a co-pay to be “seen.”Make sure you do the survey they shove down your throat in the waiting room. I went to see the dentist today. I walked in and the lady sitting in the corner to the right was the best. She was very nice, helpful and respectful. She is just an amazing worker. The assistant to Dr. Patel was really sweet , respectful and a good worker. Now the dentist on the other hand I didnt have alot of confidence in when it came to my teeth. I am trying for insurance so I can go to a different dentist. I think I knew a little more about teeth than he did.

These people are the BIGGEST joke!! Front desk especially!! They cant even schedule one appointment right. They will have you come back 30 minutes later!! Highly unprofessional. Everybody wants to blame the next person. They should just close their doors and do something else. Because they definitely do not care about their patients!!

Okay so where to begin. I hadnt really had a problem with this place until about a week ago. I had been there twice, once for refills on my antidepressants and once for sickness. With the first time they were amazing, long wait time but I was a walk in. The second time was a bit less in quality but this last time may very well be THE LAST TIME. I went back for a re-up on my 3 month refills for my antidepressants and heart medication and for over a week they didnt send my prescription to my pharmacy. I called every day, went back up there and spoke with the doctor and nurse 2 times after my appointment on separate occasions and it still took them 6 days. I very well couldve ended up in the hospital due to carelessness and I am pursuing a Malpractice suit against Dr. Teferra.

They make appointments just to cancel them. Its better just to walk in first thing in the a.m, or better yet go somewhere that the drs dont take 2 months off at a time when youre waiting on test results! Not a good place to try and establish a primary care doctor. Im specifically referring to Brandon clinic, I have no experience with Pearl or Flowood.

The wait was horrible but the Dr/ nurse practitioner, was awesome! Also the lady who took the money was very sweet.

Would give a zero star rating if allowed. My grandchildren have gone to this clinic for some time because this is one of the few in the area that accepts Medicaid. When Dr. Knight was still there, the place was tolerable. Now the place is about as bad as it gets. Ridiculous wait times, even with an appointment. Cleanliness is a joke. Doctor is often in & out in less than 2 minutes. Will claim they are sending prescriptions electronically but that can take HOURS. A classic example of doing as little as possible for a portion of the population that has very few options in healthcare. Im ashamed that I have subjected my grands to this type of care. They deserve better.

Sorry for all the bad reviews. I have yet to go there (with an appointment) and had to wait more than a half hour after the scheduled time. Dennetta Parker, who is one of the attending nurse practitioners has never been anything but thoughtful, thorough, and genuine. She worked with me to get a good mix on my medication for diabetes, has consulted with me in her office, and the nurse staff have always been pleasant. Respect is a two-way road. You get what you put out. Perhaps a bit more patience is due considering they are very busy. Just my two cents worth.

I see the doctors on a regular and they are awesome!But after the dentist visit today, I’m now headed to the ER because they ruptured my sinus cavity and I’m still bleeding over 2 hours later. The front desk ladies are nice, and the dentist herself was nice, but the assistant is a horrible woman, and lack of correct care has me headed to the ER. 😑 don’t use the dentist office! I am going to a new place as soon as I find a place that accepts my insurance!!!

Not going back! The dr claimed I have bronchitis, which I do, and have me meds that didn’t even have a effect and the next night I’m admitted to the hospital for his poor judgement. Had another condition I needed helped with and he didn’t know how to handle it but it was the place I was referred to through another dr. To top it off this foreign lady, the secretary, misspelled my name trice after I wrote it down for her. Again not going back and a waste of money.

This office simply does not care about its patients. I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours for a 10 oclock appointment. My two month old needed shots and they had no pediatrician. They said adult doctors were seeing all patients. They are just awful we will not be back, perhaps new management would help. Do both yourself and your child a favor by not going there.

We made appointments just to get our kids immunization forms and had to take off work for them to tell us we couldn’t be helped I don’t understand where the confusion was but I wouldn’t recommend getting help from them for anything

I GIVE ZERO STARS!!! This is a very unprofessional clinic, nurses never call you back, prescriptions are not called in or electronically sent. It’s been a week since my mom was seen and she still has not received HER BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION!!! She’s called the pharmacy and was told that no prescription has been sent in and that they sent a request to the clinic for it to be filled and have not yet heard anything. It’s been a week since she was seen!!! She’s called the clinic several times, each time she was told to give her name and number and a nurse would call her back...this is ridiculous!!!!!

Worst hospitals that I have honestly been to. Lazy workers. I called for three days in a row trying to figure out my blood results and all I get is “hold please” would think they would come back to the phone but after 30 minutes of sitting on hold I just hang up. Still haven’t been able to get in touch with a doctoR. I would rather be in pain and sick then go back to this place trust me take my word don’t waste your money.Would like to get a petition going to shut this place down. Up until now I have had nothing but great things to say about this place. Now I wouldnt recommend for anyone to see Dr. Morgan I wouldnt take my dog up there as long as she is there... If your there and they try to put you with her tell them no thanks. Instead of telling you how it is she will lie to you and waste your time.... Horrible place! The only nice employee was the girl at the front desk. I was a walk-in so I didnt mind having to wait a while, but when the doctor finally came in she wouldnt help me. She was only in the room for 5 minutes and never even gave me any options on the medications. I would have opted for the shot so I would get well faster since I have a baby at home to take care of, but she left and sent the nurse practitioner in to tell me my medicines (that I already had at home) were at the pharmacy. They should really take the care part out of their name because they dont care about their patients at all! Total waste of time! Thankfully I have insurance so I didnt have to pay for the terrible service I received.

One of the worst clinics I have ever been too in terms of check-in/out service. Took over 30 minutes to check in because some receptionists were out to lunch. Lady was asking me questions over the counter (so everyone could hear) instead of handing me a clipboard of new patient forms, which is a complete violation of HIPAA. She was not the normal receptionist so she was incompetent with everything insurance related. It was over 1:20 min before I even saw a doctor and I even had an appointment. Simply checking out (I did not even need to do anything with insurance, or schedule another appt), took over 15 minutes, which should have taken 30 seconds, and the lady behind the counter was very rude!

Worst place ever! I made an app came 15 min early and still had to wait over an hour before my daughter even got seen, my youngest has gone without a few shots because they never have their shots here, I came four times and every time they explained the same stuff to me, its like they go by a pitch or something they never wanna take the time to really care for your child! This place shouldnt even be open its not even clean! Ive had other doctors request my daughters shot record so she can see a real doctor and they refuse to send them! Pathetic!!!!!

I would give it 0 stars if that were an option. Doctors are very rude. Staff is rude and slow. The conditions of the office is disgusting. I dont even like letting my child touch the beds. I switched physicians about 6 months ago for my children because I think its so gross here. I had to come for a walk in appointment unfortunately because my sons sick and his doctor isnt available; and everything is the same!!! This place is disgusting. The comments are the truth.....who ever you are saying five stars may God help you. Anybody who goes to this clinic please pray before you go because the devil is everywhere. Anytime these people go to lunch while the patients sit there for 2-4 hours without being seen is so inhuman its pathetic and they all know it. Please research your medications that you are prescribed too so you wont get medicine that may cause you to seziures.

Worst place ever to go to!!! Went two weeks ago and was lied to and told I had infection in a tooth I needed pulled out just because it had a hole...I had no pain in the tooth...I just wanted it pulled, well the dentist said I needed a antibiotic which I didnt....my husband needed six teeth pulled out she claimed his roots had fused together and hed have to go somewhere else because they would need surgery... Lie!! Well she had me to go back to her after the two weeks.. I did and ...guess what!!// she aint doing anything today to anyone because shes sick and aint supose to be there today but wanted to give everyone antibiotics until shes able to see them in again... Looks like to me she aint doing anything but collecting peoples money and not helping anyone!!!!! We will never go back there ever again!!

Wait is too long, 2hrs just to be seen for 10mins literally this was real time! Bathroom always stank like poop but child always has to go and im scared to go anywhere near it let alone use it. I think they are short staff and I can see why, other than that receptionist, doctors, and the other workers are always nice and respecful to my children and I!!

Very unprofessional. My friend took her sick child there, and when I mean sick, I mean very sick. She went in at 10:30, they told her to come in as a walk in. Took them over 2 hours to get her back. They said theyd call in the scripts but never did so now her child has to be sick longer until they call in the scripts on Monday. Awful place!! They should be shut down!

The nurse practitioner I saw was very nice and competent. I have no complaints about the people I encountered at FHC Brandon. The first time I went, I showed up 30 minutes early to fill out my paperwork since I was new to the system, and I still waited for over an hour past my appointment time to see the nurse for my TB skin test. I was told my test would cost $25. Little did I know, it would also cost $25 dollars to get it read when I came back two days later. Overall, I am extremely disappointed because I paid twice as much for my TST as I would have paid anywhere else, and the wait time for my initial appointment was obscene. Again, I am not upset with any of the employees or practitioners at FHC Brandon; I just feel that I was duped out of an extra $25 that I do not have to spare, and I would have gone somewhere else had I known how much it would cost me in time and money.

Absolute worst place to go to get a physical. I got there at 7:45 am before the doors were open and was hoping to get in and out of that place in like 30 minutes since it was just a simple Athletic physical for high school. My mom and I waited in the waiting room for a very long time and a lady finally admitted me to a room to take my weight, height, pulse, and blood pressure. She also did my vision too. After she got done doing all that, she admitted me to an exam room. I sat in the exam room for a good hour before I think a doctor lady came in there. Long story short..they charge you for crap you dont need. I was charged $180 for physical that should cost $80 AT MOST. To sum it up, its the most unprofessional medical facility Ive ever been to.

These people are idiots and this place should be shut down. They do not know what they are doing or state laws on requirements at that. We had our kids shot done for upcoming 7th grade and yet the lady left the shot record saying incomplete when our kid had all of the shots up date and required. They wouldnt fix the shot record putting our kid in trouble with the school bc it was left showing incomplete. My husband took it to the health department right after leaving this clinic and arguing with that dumb lady and the health department fixed it in less than five minutes. They do not know what they are doing and are very unknowledgeable regarding requirements...theyd be willing to stick your kid with anything that clearly they know nothing about. We have three children who are all up to date and current on their shots yet these people argued the fact even after having it proven to them. Good luck if you go to this place.

Slow as hell, i was the only one waiting and still took 4 hours. My 1 yr old nephew kept crying the whole time while waiting cuz he was severely sick and nothing could keep him calm. The business is terrible. Get faster or never see me again.

I cant agree with the rest of the reviews however, for a family clinic what do you expect, go somewhere else, but for those of us that dont have insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and so on and so fourth... It is what it is, me personally. I could care less if my doctor was friendly or not, as far as Im concerned all Drs are dry, and anal and serious if their not trust me their acting, Im an adult keep it cute for the kids, just help me, once more could care less as long as I get the services I need, and he/she makes me feel better then ...I went for a tooth abstraction, I called in the day or two before. Id never been and was a referral, I went in, signed in and was in the back to see the the doctor all in a matter of 20 minutes, I barely even sat in the the waiting room long enough to do the paper work. I was there probably an hour. True it creeped me out and I felt like I could see the germs floating in the air, but Im OCD so, yea its a clinic. I think they should have someone there to sanitize, and clean the building daily, and around the clock. Besides that I got my tooth pulled, and a prescription was called in which I never got, but I havent had anymore problems and even that same afternoon I was back to myself ...

The adult doctor that I seen was not sympathetic and did not listen to me at all. Do not go unless you have no other choice. I would rather owe someone than go here for free!

Its just awful. The wait time is awful! I cant explain how terrible i am feeling about this place. I set an appointment at 1 and changed it to 1:30 because of the wait and it is now 2:30 and I am late coming from lunch. Hope i wont lose my job🙄🙄🙄

The absolute worst place to work as a nurse. Not only are you worked to sheer exhaustion, the patients suffer because of nursing shortages and it is not fair. They say they are all about the patient but in reality, they are all about the numbers. Patients are left waiting for several hours, then rushed through like cattle when they finally are seen. I would not recommend any of the Family Healthcare clinics to anybody as a patient are as an employee.

Slow. Been waiting on a referral from them for two weeks still havent gotten it. It shouldnt take that long to make a call and I even told them you could send the referral web based. I had to set up another appointment just to check on the status of my referral after my appointment before that. They are local but that still doesnt mean convenience. I will be changing primary doctors and clinics soon

Filthy! Rude and inexperienced Went there for my sons yearly check up for school. He hadnt been sick in over 2 years and caught a cold the next day from their DISGUSTING room we were put in and we were there at 8:30 before anyone so that meant the room was not cleaned the day before!
