I recently moved her for Bradenton/Sarasota are for work. I was a little nervous about switching my training and finding a new crunch location to workout at. I have had many trainers in the time that I been working on obtaining my fitness goals. I have to say that this location in always clean, professional, and attentive to their members. They always enough staff to accommodated the members at the front desk to ensure you dont have to wait to start you workout and always greeted with positive attitude. I switched my training over to this location with Christos. I have to say that I was truly blessed to get Christos as a trainer. He always is available if I have question, and reminds me about my training sessions. After the first session he was able to fine tune my goals and set a plan. Christos really helped me narrow down my nutrition and workouts on non training days. I have noticed a overall a difference in my energy thought out the day, and also I lost both body fat percentage, weight, and gained muscle mass. Christos is a awesome trainer with a positive attitude and amazing energy. I would highly recommend that you checkout this crunch location and Christos to make all of your fitness goal happen.

A member of this gym for a year now and I absolutely love it. Ive switched gyms many times but becoming a member and sticking with Crunch was never a question. The staff welcomes you upon arrival and any questions you have get answered. I work with Kyle Gunby for personal training. He is awesome! The motivation, support, and specialized training I receive every session is the main reason Ive surpassed my goals!

Great environment I enjoy working out here. I do wish though that sadly someone would watch out for those who do not wipe down their equipment.Edit:crunch does a great job cleaning its some other members I’m referring to who do not wipe down equipment after use. Sadly I’m hoping someone can address it with those who do not.

I finally found my home gym! This gym is super clean, staff is friendly, and the equipment is well maintained. Most importantly, my trainer Kyle Gunby is AMAZING! I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer!! He’s knowledgeable, skilled, friendly, and has great communication. He makes the workouts fun but he will make sure you get the results you want!! If you’re looking for an elite trainer, he is the one!!

I’ve been to a lot of Crunch locations (including different states) and the layout of this crunch has been my favorite! I’m also really impressed with their lineup of Personal Trainers. Natalya to be specific has been the best! 🤗 Natalya’s very motivating and knowledgeable which is what everyone should look for in a personal trainer:)

I had no clue on where to begin at the gym until 3 months ago. I went into Crunch looking to get info on a Saturday morning, and after talking to Matt, and discussing what I wanted, I walked out of there with a membership and one of the BEST TRAINERS ever. Kyle Gunby has been my trainer for the past 3 months, and I can honestly say, I now have the confidence and knowledge to continue being successful on my healthy gym journey thanks to him. My only regrets are, why didn’t I find him sooner.

I have been working out at crunch on and off for several years now at different locations. I currently workout at the W. Brandon location. Crunch is honestly one of the best gyms I go to, and this location specifically is one of my favorites. The equipment selection is broad, great for beginners to advanced gym goers. Busy at peak hours but I don’t mind, it’s nice to see people taking care of themselves. The people that work there are wonderful, from front desk to personal trainers. Everyone shows they care and they want to be there.I’d also like to shine a spotlight on my current trainer from Crunch W. Brandon. - Josh R. has been a great addition to my training and my life itself. He’s sweet, cares about his clients, listens, and can make training fun and challenging. I usually see him once a week to assist with my heavier lifting days but if I ever need anything he’s always there to guide me or change up my routine. I really appreciate him and his knowledge in health. I hired him a few years ago at YouFit in Tallahassee so I was ecstatic when I found out he’s coming to the Tampa area. His knowledge has increased and he’s always looking at improving for himself and his clients. He’s great role model. Single too.. haha.Thanks guys! Keep up the great work. This location is amazing!

Crunch Brandon is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. Everyone is so nice and professional. I also did Training with Natalya and she helped me achieve my goals and also helped me with nutrition as well. Crunch Brandon is the best!

I highly recommend going to Crunch in Brandon. The facility is nice, but what makes it even better is the personal training programs they have to offer. Ask for James K Gunby (a.k.a Kyle) for more details on personal training. Hes been my Trainer for about a year now and I can positively say that hes professional, has a lot of great insight, personable and he is very motivating. I give Crunch a 10/10.

Ive been a member for about a year, this gym has become my second home. The staff is fantastic, they definitely make you feel welcome! Ive seen significant transformation with my health & fitness from the training + guidance my personal trainer Kyle has provided! 💯

Went from committing to my personal trainer, Christos, to my personal trainer committing to me following me getting an injury (outside of the gym) and winding up in a full leg brace!! He switched up the whole game plan and still has me in the gym sweating. He’s more appreciated than he knows. I love it! Can’t say enough Thank Yous for helping me find my love for the gym again!!Friendly helpful staff that is always ready to answer any questions you have and a clean location with a floor layout that just makes sense.

I have been going to this gym for over a year and I love it! I actually decided to try out personal training and to be honest was hesitant because I didn’t think I would get much out of it. But I was wrong! My personal training experience has been amazing and it’s all because of Natayla Borosch. She always goes over and beyond for clients and is there for anything you need. For the first time I’ve been seeing results and I’m so excited to be able to continue my fitness journey with her. If anyone is looking for a hard working, educated, and a dedicated trainer, try a session with Natayla. You won’t regret it !

Great gym. Music sucks. Its all just badly remixed and smashed together. Add to the fact that the class instructors mic feeds into the same speakers and the entire sound system just shouldnt exist at that point. Everything else is great.

I like this fitness center a lot. But its new, so its still well taken care of. One part I dislike very much though is that the bathrooms are closed for an hour- am entire hour! - for cleaning. I asked the staff about this and they recommended I use the bathroom next door at Bealls.

HOT!I know the point is to get a good workout in and sweating is proof that youre working hard but Ive been to a bunch of different Crunch Fitness locations and Ive never sweat this much just walking to the bathroom. Im sure the A/C is on but there is only one fan circulating the air...idk..it could just be me. No question that the location, people and equipment are all VERY nice!

I started my membership and was very excited about making changes to my lifestyle. The second day, Avery told me that I had access to some kind of discount because of me place of work. He asked about my work ID, which I always carry with me, and scan or copy to their system, but the discount was never applied. I was offered the Kick off sessions and will have some kind of deal to use the personal training services. The offer included a $75 gift card and some kind of discount, that I never received neither. Ask at front desk about it, I was told I have to talk to my trainer. Trainer said it was too late to apply the promo, but it was just my third day into the program. I just moved on with that because I already paid for the program and really wanted to see results. I was offered a nutritional plan that was never provided. I would receive a routine to work during the week on days that I was not with the trainer. I received a spreadsheet at the beginning but it was never updated, despite I mentioned that to the trainer multiple times. I asked for a routine for abs that I was told it would be sent to my phone but never got it. My 30 minutes training started to get shorter and shorter because the trainer was with someone else when I was ready but finished my session 4-5 minutes earlier. When I decided to cancel the program because I didn’t see the expected results, the trainer got upset and he barely wanted to speak to me. I felt guilty for quitting and decided to stay for one more month to complete the 3 months program that we agreed at the beginning. When the time came and after speaking a lot of times with the trainer about canceling or freezing the program on a specific date, he was always busy when I wanted to sign. When I finally decided to get out of there because my main goal was not reached, he gave me the form but told me I would get charged for two more weeks because it was too late to stop the payment. I asked to speak to a manager, who ignored my emails and never took the time to talk to me. It has been a very disappointing experience because now we will have to fight for the charges of a service that I won’t receive and they refuse to stop. Don’t put yourself through this nightmare. There are better options in Brandon, with more professionalism and value for the money that you invest.***UPDATE***After my review, I was asked to contact them but I requested to talk to a manager for days and they didn’t do anything but ignore my request. To the person writing the response, read your email, you will find my information there. Be more professional and respond if you truly want to provide a good service. You took the time to respond my review but not my emails or calls. Lack of customer service.

It was great not over crowded today 😊 got a quick workout before work .that way Im one step closer to my swim 🏊competition next weekend for special olympics.

The Crunch Fitness Brandon location is amazing and most importantly it has been very understanding and proactive throughout the pandemic. All employees are professional and warm. I like that different fitness levels attend this location so everyone feels welcome.

Friendly customer service excellent selection of equipment and free weights. Best times to go are over the weekends or in the morning. Strongly suggest signing up if you havent you get access to any crunch along with bringing a guest, so theres no excuse to not go and work out.

Please get better control over the music volume. I find myself standing a few feet from someone (doing my best to social distance) and having to almost scream to have a conversation. Also I suggest when signing up a new member, please reiterate the importance of re-racking their weights. Wish you had a t-bar but no gym is perfect. 4 stars seems about right.

Just got told not to deadlift on a deadlifting platform... Also, none of the trainers correct anyone who is not a client, so people are asking to get hurt. Good equipment, but if you use it properly its an issue. Be selective if you need a trainer, and research any advice they offer up.

So I canceled my gym membership here because two of the staff members came to me asking to stop hitting the heavy bag so hard, but heres the thing they had old grind out rings that’s why they were falling and I told them that. I’ve even helped put a bag up with one of the staff members. Super small gym. I’m so blues go here. Yea I’ve been going insane in the gym. I understand. Time to explore the outdoor workouts.

Signed up for a free day pass and had this worker explain to me and my mom about the gym, and he told us to fill out this form and that he’d be right back to help us out more. Instead he goes up to a spanish worker and says “they’re spanish, go take care of them” and that spanish worker comes up to us to explain more about the gym and talks to us only in spanish, and i don’t even speak spanish. my mom and i didn’t even speak spanish at all to them. do not come here unless you wanna be judged by the way you look. very unprofessional. join esporta, they’re super friendly there.

At a 3 right now because I feel their ads are a bit of false advertising. I signed up for the 1¢ promotion that offered the first month free. However, 5 days later I was charged for the first month...Very misleading and no one can explain it. The gym itself I like.

It would be 100% better if the Personal Trainers were a lot nicer. They seem to pick and choose who they want to talk to or say hi to. The employees at the front are Always great and friendly.

Most people only have 2pm-3pm to train. To have the bathroom completely closed for this timeframe is unsatisfactory. Other locations have their sauna open and people can still use the bathroom. Ridiculous I had to go somewhere else to use the frickin bathroom. I say it’s time to revisit cleaning methodology.

If been Charged 72.83 in Feb to join including the annual fee I chooses the 10 bucks Offer monthly and today They charge me again another 63.38 including the month offer ... and I dont know what fee is Charging me Now .... some Hidden fees there Guys Be Careful

I just joined and honestly really like the gym. It has high energy and the people that work out there seems to be respectful. Very little leaving weights around if at all. The amount of equipment they have is outstanding. The gym seems very clean to me and Im not concerned about anything when I workout other than doing my part by keeping everything clean Before & After use.They tend to be a little too high pressure with regards to selling memberships. Sometimes they dont let you know that there are 3 options for joining the gym and they show you to the most expensive option 1st. Taxes are included on a monthly basis and you are charged a $53 annual fee 60 days after joining, if I have that correctly? The most annoying thing is the fact that they close the bathrooms down from 2 to 3 pm. you are absolutely not allowed to go in and get your things or use the restroom. I understand completely what type of world we live in now and how important cleanliness But it seems to me there would be a better way? I was told that I could use the restroom next door and Im sure the shop owner is not going to be too excited about having members of the gym stand in line for his bathrooms? I could be wrong. Those are minor complains compared to the overall feeling and vibe I get from the gym.

Decent gym one issue is it takes them an hour to clean the locker rooms so in that time you cannot access any of your items, use the bathroom, or change clothes.

Crunch - Brandon is an awesome edition to the Crunch roster! Their facility is arguably one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest, and the importance of this requires no explanation. The equipment’s in excellent condition, and the entire staff does their due diligence in wearing masks to keep their patrons as safe as possible.I’d like to direct people specifically to Teana, she has amazing customer service and always goes above and beyond! She’s always greeting everyone with a smile, and you can count on her to fulfill any membership needs or answer any questions you may have to the best of her ability. There’s no Crunch I’d rather be at!

Crunch is a very clean and safe gym. They currently have everything spread out to do socially distancing. The new location isnt as big as the one on bloomingdale but is still as nice.

I signed up in Nov. 2019 before they were open. They were supposed to open Feb 2020 but covid happened. They didnt open till May and charged me for the first time in June. When I realized they were open and billing me I asked to freeze my membership until it was safe to go to a gym. ( at the time they werent making anyone wear masks inside.) They not only told me I couldnt just pause it, but I would have to pay for a addition two months or pay $100 dollar early termination fee. I just cant get over during a once in 100 yr pandemic you are that greedy for a extra $60 when people or losing their jobs and really struggling.

A petri-dish for COVID-19! This gym has violated many of the State and local ordinances and I have subsequently reported them to the proper authorities for investigation and to local news teams for further public interest. Social distancing isn’t observed within this gym and the gym operates at full capacity as provided with my video and photo evidence taken within the gym. Do not go to this gym!Regarding their customer service, it’s one of the worst and you’ll be waiting around for long periods of time just to be seen as the manager will tend to multiple people at the same time, discounting your value as a patron to the gym.They don’t disclose actual member paperwork, balances due, and other relevant details upon signing up. They are predatory in their signs-up process, dangling a $0.06 signup carrot while not disclosing the true cost of your membership, nor have they furnished the contract paperwork after explicitly requesting it. When it comes to cancellation, they are even worse and will attach multiple undisclosed fee’s without even informing me of a total balance due; this will result in the balance being sent to a collections agency. Their cancellation procedure along with their signup process are both predatory in nature and this gym should be avoided with prejudice.Because they like to work in a legal grey area in order to fleece money from patrons, such shadiness works in the consumer’s favor as there are a few Florida statues I’ve identified which Crunch Fitness - Brandon has failed to abide by, meriting further legal action against them.

Everything is pretty available even when its crowded. Ive been to ALL THE CRUNCHES in HILLSBORO COUNTY...and its the beat to get in...do what you do and get the hell out

Very disappointed with the staff. The manager Connor and a rep Alex were absolutely no help. I moved to Chicago and tried to cancel my membership because there is no crunch fitness near where I live. 2 years ago I spoke with a rep who said that I could cancel via email since I moved out of state. I sent an email only to get a condescending response from someone there saying I have to pay for sending a certified letter to corporate to cancel it. I then was charged each month and reported fraud to my bank and got a new account---- they require your routing and account number to sign up.... VERY SHADING AND NOT TO MENTION UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID GOING TO THIS GYM.!!!!!!! DISGRACEFUL.

Love going to Crunch. Abbey and Avery are the best! Abbey is my personal trainer and Avery is there to check me in every day. Always friendly and seeing them everyday is a great way to start my day.

Tried to cancel my membership due to COVID concerns and this gym refuses to cancel and keeps charging me. There’s no social distancing and minimal sanitization. I tried going to this gym twice (once in the morning and once at night) before I called to cancel not even two weeks after becoming a member. The caller told me to come in to cancel. I went to the gym and they refused to cancel. I do not recommend this gym.

Came in for a quick tour and Armando was great at explaining all the current promotions and benefits of each membership plan. I was happy to see the measures they’re taking for Covid-19 by providing alcohol to each guest, etc. I’m looking forward to the group fitness classes especially if all the instructors have the same high/positive energy as Armando.

This place is a joke. Noah should be fired. What kind of gym would not give me the GM name (jake) BTW. I came on a trial and that’s where it will stay! This place does not use CCs for sign up. Ha! There is LA, Golds, and YMCA which are easy to work with, I’ll head there tomarrow! It seams by reading other reviews, I’d be better off elsewhere anyway, what a scam! Beautiful gym! I just got a crunch pass a few months ago along with a trainer and I absolutely love it. Kevin, the GM is fantastic and so nice! All of the staff goes above and beyond to make sure the sanitation standards are being followed. If you’re looking to do one of the tree classes they offer, I suggest the PunchHIIT class with J.T! Signed up as there opening special for $1 in late 2019. Covid happened and delayed there opening. When I tried to call to cancel I could never get through to anyone. Then in June I get billed for the first time and that is how I found out they were open. I called to explain I didnt feel it was safe and any way safe to be in a gym and what I could do about it. They guy on the phone starts reading off a prepared statement about how the governor says its safe. LOL what a joke every doctor would telll you the complete opposite. They informed me I would either have to pay for 3 months or $100 early cancel fee for something I have never used because its completely unsafe to do so if you care about your longterm health. Especially when you look it up and you got 350k-1million dollars than you dont need to pay back in the PPP loan to help offset customers like me.. You got a free million you never need to pay back and still wanna try to squeeze a extra $60-100 out of people trying to be safe.

Areas all too crowded and not enough attendants to assist. Visitors not practicing distancing. Equipment not being sanitized after use. Didnt feel comfortable exercising at this location.

I walked in with a one day pass and met Teana. The gym overall is very nice and laid out great. Teana was very professional, knowledgeable and very nice. She explained all the membership options which resulted in me signing up after one visit.

The gym has everything you really need. My only problem is that theyre seriously lacking in health and covid protocols. The employees and members act like the diaease never existed. The machines are a bit too close to social distance. Other than that, theres 6 squat/deadlift racks and like 4-5 benches so, all you really need.

Always come here to work out one of my favorite places to go in brandon the staff is incredibly welcoming ,friendly and always seem happy I would not even think about working out anywhere else this place is GREAT!

I was going to u fit before Covid and at time my account was frozen indefinitely I did not know that crunch in Brandon bought them out and was not notified of it I called them and spoke to Jacob he informed me they sent me an email a letter and a text which I never got so I got ripped off what a coincidence I never got any of this and they would not refund me beware of rip off clubs like this.

We love our local Crunch Fitness! Teana and Carlos are friendly and helpful. We are still learning our way around the gym, and we love wrapping up our workout with hydromassage—so we recommend the higher tier membership for that! They do have tanning beds, but we don’t use them. Locker rooms are really nice too.

I would not recommend. I signed up for the gym before they even opened and never got my membership activated because when they were supposed to be opened, here comes the pandemic and they closed. Bear in mind, membership never activated, never received an access card, nothing. These people charged my card twice including the yearly membership and when I called to get the refund, they told me I had to cancel because it’s in the agreement. Even when I mentioned the pandemic and how they we’re even closed, they didn’t even care. I was really looking forward in using the gym after the pandemic, but first impressions always last. I’ll go somewhere else.

Amazing Atmosphere & great staff

I tried to cancel my gym membership due to being personally impacted by COVID both physically and financially. The manager I communicated with spoke in a very condescending tone as if I was a child. You would think during such an uncertain time in the world that Crunch would try to execute more empathy and professionalism among anything else, they failed substantially in that aspect. I asked for a corporate contact and was blatantly ignored by the Brandon staff. The communication from Crunch as a whole is subpar. This is not a gym I wish to be associated with ever again. I am absolutely recommending my family and friends withdraw from Crunch as well! If I could, the Brandon Location would get zero stars. Look at the other reviews in regard to COVID below, we are not all saying the same thing by coincidence. I am paying my final 2 months payments (for a gym I will not be able to use) and will be giving crunch the good riddance it deserves.

Signed up for the gym in February before it opened. Was told at the time that my membership would begin and I would be charged only when I personally decided to activate it. Instead, I was charged in June for the first month after the gym decided to open in May. I went in to either cancel or pause my membership as I dont want to be forced to use the gym while covid cases are hitting new record highs in Florida day after day. I was told that only cancelling was possible, but not until I paid for 3 months of membership as well as the annual fee. So thats $116 Im out because Crunch activated my membership without my consent and and now will only process my cancellation 2 months from now. What an absolute trash business. Was lied to and then stolen from. Theyve lost the business of me, my family, and my friends for life.
