I am beyond impressed with the bedside manner and quality of patient care at this location! Ive been to a few other MEA locations and despite this one not being as close to me, this location will be my now go-to. Their staff listened to my concerns and ensured to be thorough in their examination instead of dismissing me. Highly recommend!

Been waiting over a hour and a half to be seen and they’re not very busy. Better service at UMC emergency room than this place.

Always make me feel comfortable and welcome. The physicians are caring and take your concerns understandable & provide a possible reason or look further into what the real issue could be.

Went last week to set up primary care and check on some hip pain. The staff was great and Dr Hollman was great. They really listen and try to help. Thats what we need more of in this world.Edit: I have been back for injuries and….Yep they are still awesome. (04-21)

As some of the other reviews mentioned, the nurse at this clinic is very rude and unprofessional! She was probably the rudest I’ve ever seen as far as nurses go. This is obviously a person who hates her job and doesn’t care one bit if she does a good job or not. She spilt contaminated water all over the place in the examination room and didn’t even bother to wipe it up. The receptionist was not much better when it came to being rude. These people do not need to work in the health-care business. They also had their kids sitting in the office in the middle of sensitive medical records. MEA, you can do better! If I could rate this clinic below one star then I would. Dr. Hollman is not a doctor that I’d go back to either. I came in with a sore throat and other symptoms during the middle of flu/strep season and she basically wanted me to diagnose myself instead of running the traditional strep and flu tests to determine whether a prescription was needed. She also made comments that made me believe she was lacking in not only common sense but also in basic knowledge of over the counter drugs. I am looking into other clinics for the next time I need a doctor, and I’m encouraging all of my friends to do the same.

Untimely we had to go to the hospital but the staff at this MEA was patient, friendly yet professional. It went a long way to helping comfort us.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! I literally began to tear up in the waiting room after being treated with such unprofessionalism. I am a very compassionate person and continued to the very end being nice, regardless how I was being treated. However, after thinking about it all day I have decided to let it be known so others don’t have to experience what I did. I did NOTHING wrong and am so tired of rudeness. The receptionist and nurse should be ashamed of themselves! This was my first experience with MEA being treated like I was. I love MEA and have always had a good experience, until today. I hope these ladies learn how to help their patients and show them respect! If they cannot, then they need to get OUT! PLEASE!!!

Let me start off by saying how incredibly RUDE this clinics receptionist is. I had to call the clinic today to request a refill for a medication. I called also to get information on how to stop taking the medication safely and to find out if I could get more until i could make a appointment. After talking with the lady who answered the phone I will never be back or recommend that clinic. She interrupts, she belittled me, she put me on hold several times (the last time she connected the call to someone else; without even letting me know) I don’t understand WHY she is even allowed to work in the clinical setting. She set the tone for that entire conversation. I hope she gets some lessons in customer service soon or else I’m sure more customers are leaving. I’m happy to take my business elsewhere and will never recommend this place.

Great place to be treated. We were in, attended to, and out quickly. The staff went out of their way to be helpful for both my family and a very sick gentleman there.

Dr.Hollman and the entire staff at this clinic were phenomenal!! My mother was sick on an inconvenient Friday evening. When no one else would see her, these wonderful people treated her like family. She had a bad bacterial infection and because of them she received the treatment she deserved. The receptionist, the nurses and the MD were all very knowledgeable AND caring. This is what healthcare should be! Great job

Only problem is when you ask the lady Doctors here to Rx only Generics them get to the Pharmacy to find out everything is the latest market name brand & your bill is over $100 on insurance. Then you have to cancel all your Rx, call Dr. back & represcribe the requested Rx. Happens all the time, clinic is too convenient to stop doing business with but getting very close.

Waited 1 hour and 35 minutes. When called back the nurse didnt even take my temperature, which is part of the vital signs assessment. No one is in a hurry at all!!! Dr. Hollman was good though.

Dr Amy Hollman is very thorough and actually listens, even when there is an odd mix of symptoms to sort through. The clinic is very clean, including the waiting areas... you dont feel like you are picking up germs from the upholstery & the magazines are fairly current... not sitting around collecting germs for months on end (unlike the old MEA Cares clinic on HWY 51😜).The staff is friendly and polite for the most part (theres always that one apple with an attitude, but thats anywhere). I also like that labs are run through St Dominics, which is my preferred hospital for specialty care.My only gripe is the automated phone service.1) If you call the clinics direct # & ASSUME youre speaking to someone at the clinic, you have a 7/8 chance of being WRONG in that assumption.Unless you press 8,every other menu option kicks you into the cue at a distant location, without actually making you aware of this...and unfortunately the staff there does NOT communicate with the clinic staff beyond the form they submit for scheduling purposes...so any questions/concerns/special needs addressed in that phone call are NOT relayed. They should at least TELL the caller this, so the customer knows to follow up directly with the clinic personnel. They should also offer to redirect the call to facilitate this, as a customer courtesy. The info lost is often important in rendering optimal/timely care for the patient ... and the current set-up simply creates a lack of continuity of care.2) Since this initial call is gives the first impression for the clinic, the poor/absent relay of info puts a negative spin on the visit before the Nurse/Doctor even steps into the room.Nothing like having to begin your eval with a frustrated patient who is wondering why their Nurse/Doctor isnt clued-in to pertinent history or requests that were already clearly expressed, then having to clear up mis-information, while simultaneously trying to establish a pleasant rapport with a new patient/customer... all in the first 2 minutes of a visit. It puts the clinician at a distinct disadvantage... and results in those dreaded 1-star ratings for the clinic on surveys such as this(I gave a 4 today, but this could have easily been a 5***** rating...if not for the negative experience with the phone cue 🙁)

Waited for about an hour then got called back finally to be told she had the wrong patient. Defiantly going to Baptist across the street for now on. The lady who pulled me back was extremely rude and nonapologitic about messing up.
