I have only been in a couple of times, but the moment you enter the facility you feel a breath of fresh air. Everyone is there for the same reason and the non-judgement of everyone is on a different step of their journey... is actually quite relieving. Extremely affordable, friendly staff and very clean!

I joined for the convenience and the cost. I figured a decent workout, tanning and massage options included it was a good deal. I immediately want to take advantage of their trainer helping me develop my own fitness plan and schedule a meeting. I get notified the day of the meeting that the trainer is out sick and will need to reschedule, no big deal, I get it. Reschedule for the following a week. I take public transit and end up at the are of the gym a hour ahead of time and decide to kill the time with a much needed haircut. Realizing I may be a few minutes late, I give a call to make them aware and suggest if my friend (scheduled for just after me) shows up first it would be okay to swap out appointments and I would be right over. I am then informed the trainer is out again today, although neither my friend not I was contacted to let us know. Weve been going to the gym and periodically checking with staff on the status of getting a plan setup and have yet to get anything scheduled. The manager is a certified trainer but it isnt within his current position to help with this. Not even as a temp stand in. So we are just stuck at this point. Still working out, but if the service is offered it would be awesome to be able to use it.

Friday-Monday they are not open 24 hours... I work 12 hours, 5 days a week... I usually go to the gym in the middle of the night either after work or on my nights off... They are closed... :(

Plenty of equipment options. Friendly & knowledgeable staff member named Jada gave tour of the facility.. This gym offers the most competitive membership price for any location. Memberships range from as low as $10 to $24 monthly for the VIP membership. Month to month options. Free weight options more limited than some gyms. 24 hour access during the week days. Open in the weekend but closes overnight.Hard to make excuses not to join with monthly dues so low & no contract!!!

Stand up tanning beds are the best around, hydro massage, deep tissue massage chairs, infrared bed that gives you a core workout, friendly staff and a judgment free workout environment..Whats not to like?

Great place to work out but not good on other patrons cleaning off machines or wearing masks. be prepared to spend half your time cleaning before you use machines

Depending on what time you go. However may I suggest they have some kind of dress code. Not working out in a sports bra or banana hammock when I have my daughter with. I just tan, not comfortable at all working out with regulars unless my husbands with :-) other than that, really clean lol

Totally awesome specially the massage machines in the black card membership

Really enjoy the equipment - cleanliness - staff etc. Just one major issue - the music being played is terrible. High whining - screaming tones and absolutely unintelligible. If this could be changed to better songs/music and not so irritating - I would not have to drown it out with ear pods.

Best planet fitness so far! New hybrid tanning, more massage including hydro recliners. A few aerobic machines I havent seen at other pf. Spa area is done very nice and feels private. My new home club!

Tanning bed are not as good as I had hoped for usually I tan quick and easy and dark I dont even see color

This place is amazing. I went through a spell where I was having some financial difficulty. They really helped me out and now I am coming back!! You guys ROCK!!

I was very impressed with the cleanliness. There is someone constantly going through cleaning equipment and surfaces. Staff is very friendly as well.

8.20.20. My updated review... As of March 2020, I canceled my membership. No fault by anyone at PF. Personal circumstances changed, and Im no longer able to keep up the membership. But, my last review still speaks to the positive aspects of my local PF gym! Please read, and I hope it helps you discover personal reasons to appreciate them, as much I have!Ive been going to my local PF since it opened in Jan. 2019. I am impressed with this place! I have observed improvements from the day it first opened.Simple things really, like...Beautiful furniture in the spa, stretching mats, large exercise balls, half ball for balance, all for yoga and core training. In the womens locker room... a bench in one of the shower stalls, a chair in one of the dressing rooms, and mirrors over the sinks. New tanning items were added to their initial line of tanning products.Fun and interesting activities at PF include:Pizza night, on the first Monday of each month; bagels and coffee on the second Tuesday of each month; and tootsie rolls every day!I feel customer service is very important for return business, and word of mouth advertising. The more engagement employees have with patrons and potential customers, thats when you see relationships build. Rosie worked weekday mornings, and she became a familiar face. Getting to know her was a joy. I looked forward to my early workouts when I arrived, and saw Rosie working. She always greeted me warmly, engaged in small talk, and thanked me for my business. She raised the bar on demonstrating good customer service. Now, I understand Rosie moved on, just like I had, but that didnt mean the end to quality customer service. Jordan M., Manager is still there, and he has been a model too, of good customer service. Hes extended help to me as well, by being patient, explaining how things work, and following through with requests.When the day comes to enroll in another gym membership, you can be sure I will give my local PF gym another visit. Until then, head over there yourself, check it out, and when you join the gym tell them I sent you.I still love my home Planet Fitness, and hope you will enjoy it too!

I love this gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice equipment as well. I wish they were open late Friday and Saturday nights as those are the day/nights I would like to go pretty late. I have had conversations with other gym goers here and they agree. Only other thing I dont really like but is probably nice for other people (with teenage kids) I suppose is the kids that go there. I have joined 3 different gyms over the last 5-10 years and I have never seen like 12 year olds at the gym before. Where there may be a problem is-a lot of the time they dont know what theyre doing so slam weights quite a bit which is not just annoying but also will wreck machines over time. There are also groups of teenagers standing around a lot taking up a lot of space/machines when they arent really being used. However, MOST OF THE TIME the atmosphere is fantastic, mostly very focused friendly people, staff is all extremely friendly and willing to help out with anything, good amount of nice quality equipment, and CLEAN. Hope you give it a try. Cant really go wrong with the price.

The Judgement-Free Zone! I go for the tanning...I will eventually work up to working out, but tanning helps me relax and a little color makes me feel great about myself! My membership started this summer, but I know I will appreciate it quite a bit more this winter! They have so much exercise equipment and the staff is very friendly and helpful when you do decide to go in and try it out. As far as the gym goes, this one is very beneficial!

Love going to Planet Fitness. Lots of equipment to choose from to exercise on. Love the tanning beds. I like the stand up ones. I also like the red bed. And the Hydro massage chair is awesome!!!

Having a great time (although painful at times) getting back in the groove. All staff have been awesome and gym mates are wonderful too. Highly recommend. Great place To work out without breaking the bank!

It’s like a spa for me at Planet Fitness. Staff is friendly, it’s a clean environment and you can get 2 different types of a massages, tan or try red light therapy. It’s a reasonable price and if your committed it’s worth every penny.

My wife and I joined Planet Fitness a month ago in Brainerd, MN. We love it! The people who work there are super friendly and helpful! We go every other day, and we’re experiencing noticeable results in our fitness!

I enjoy how low key this gym is. I don’t feel self conscious when I work out at all. I love the friendly staff and environment. If I ever have questions or want to sign up for a class with the personal trainer he’s always on sight and willing to answer any questions I have. If you download the app for planet fitness you can also sign up for any of the personal classes from that app. Very helpful and convenient. The app also tells you how to use each piece of equipment and what it does. It’s a gym made easy. If you sign up for a black card membership you also get to take advantage of all the amenities like stand up or lay down tanning beds, a full body enhancement stand up bed that helps open up your pours leaving your skin clear, soft and healthy. And don’t even get me started on the amazing Hydromassage chairs that uses water jets in the beds and also deep tissue massage chairs that I personally like using after cardio. I love the locker rooms, the individual showers and changing rooms. Planet fitness has away of making there members feel welcome, at home and comfortable in where you’re at with your workout. I recommend this gym to everyone I talk to. Try it out!!

I am very new to coming to a gym. I love how a gal working there ,daysideis so helpful and takes the time to make sure you understand how something works and what body parts it is good for. I met with the trainer there for a briefing on the gym and he to is so helpful and understanding if you have special conditions,such as knee issues... i feel he eas very helpful in just the orientation. Love my rewards of tanning, massage and all the free help I get as a member. I call this gym my peace in my day. Thanks4/1 The gym is great. I love it there.

Wouldnt let me cancel, general manager Jordan was a complete jerk. And after they wouldnt let me cancel I said maybe I should call the attorney general and he made me leave. Save yourself and go somewhere else!

I recently joined as we just got a new facility here in the Brainerd Lakes area and I am so pleased with all the classes that are included in my very affordable membership as well as tanning and massage chairs. The staff is very helpful and the trainer is top notch.

There is a nice variety of machines. I have only gone a few times. I like the hydromassage chairs and the red light therapy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Clean new facility, LOTS of machines and stations. Wish they had heavier kettlebells though...

Everyone does their own thing for the most part. Always can get on the equipment. I like the quick in and out.
