Very well run business. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. Eye exam was very efficient. No high pressure sales offers after exams unlike some of the large chain eye stores. Will be back again.

I went in due to a missing nose pad on my glasses, and they were unbelievable. Provided me with a mask, put in new nose pads, and were so chipper and polite. Highly recommend this place for your vision needs in the lakes area!

Brainerd Eyecare Center was amazing! The doctor and nurse/entry last we seen were great! They were extremely patient and gentle with my kids and talked them through the whole thing. Through the whole appointment they kept me well informed and the ladies in the front were great with helping all of us pick our glasses! They listened to our wants and showed us winners! Cindy and Dr. Taylor Swanson were especially fantastic!!

The medications I needed to be on to resolve the issue, made me a ball of emotions, and they never once made me feel like I was a pain or unreasonable. Fantastic service all around. Front end girls were very pleasant and efficient not wasting your time but getting you into the system and then on to your appointment with alacrity.The doctor had some of the best bedside manner I have ever encountered in 40 years of life. Very informative about what he is doing and why it is important. And most of all, he made me feel like he was genuinely committed to his patients and not to his profession, if that makes sense. Much less clinical and more personal care. It was such a comfortable experience that even though I came face to face with the hard reality that my age is causing my body to wear out and malfunction, I felt like he cared about helping overcome any fears that information presented me with. And it did!Finally, there was only 2 optometrists helping a clinic full of patients because one had an emergency and couldnt be there, they never looked flustered or made me feel like I needed to hurry in my selection of frames and lenses. Yet they still managed to help four of us at one time without making me feel pressured to pick something and keep the line moving.Overall, this clinic is where you want to be if you have eyes that need a little help or a lot of help. Make an appointment, you wont be disappointed!

Brought my 6yr old in for an eye exam Megan and the optometrist Ally we beyond great. Before we went in my son said I don’t want to go to another doctor. When we left he said it was the best doctor ever. They were so great with him. Thank you for such a great first experience for him.

I went to the Brainerd Eyecare Center on Aug. 13, 2021. Dr. Mike Monda was very knowledgeable and helpful answering all my questions before, during and after my eye exam. He explained what I needed and walked me through options on filling my script (yes, I was given a script I could take with me to get my glasses anywhere I chose). I chose to fill the script at Brainerd Eyecare Center because ALL of the staff were just as helpful and knowledgeable as Dr. Monda. I recommend this clinic to everyone!

I just had my annual exam at Brainerd Eye Care center and I had a brand new doctor this time, Dr. Taylor Swanson. The first thing I noticed was how nice and warm his hands were as he opened my eyelids. His attentive and gentle demeanor made me feel comfortable and his response to my questions made me smarter. All the staff at Brainerd Eye Care are good at what they do from the receptionists, through the exam procedures and all the way to helping me choose and fitting me properly for glasses. I am thankful for Brainerd Eye Care and will never sway from them and appreciate that they help me see all of life more clearly.

Dr. Swanson and his staff were a pleasure to work with these past 6 months. I had an eye exam six months ago, cataract surgery in October and final fittings Nov 30. Dr. Swanson was thorough and explained each step along the way. He has a great sense of humor and my visits with him were always pleasant. First time at this eye care center. I have no need to go anywhere else. From the welcome at the front desk to the gal who did the prep work to get me ready to see the the Dr for my eye exam they all were friendly and answered questions I had thoroughly. The Dr was making sure I knew everything he was doing and explaining what he was looking for in each step thru out the exam. It was a great experience in finding my new eye care specalist since Im new in the Brainerd area.

Dr. Swanson is the best. Outstanding skill set and knowledge and he makes sure that you fully understand your eye exam and an issues you might have with your eyes. Also just a very nice person. Brainerd Eyecare is a state of the art eye care facility and the very best in the state.

The dr that seen me treated me like a friend and it was the first time I had met him. We talked careers, families, kids... etc. I felt very comfortable there from the moment I walked in. Excellent service. Dr. Swanson demonstrated kind and courteous bedside manner throughout his exam. He answered all of my questions easily using plain language. I will definitely be going back!

Friendly people. Open to 7 on Tuesday which is very helpful for me. Modern equipment. Able to do glaucoma test without air puff. Thorough testing and very willing to work with me.

Friendly staff, waited less than 5 minutes after arrival before being called back to the exam room! Dr. Archibald Swanson is so pleasant, never makes you feel like she’s in a hurry, and takes time to alleviate your concerns.The opticians are always top notch, and go out of their way to help you find the right glasses for you, that fit your face and your budget.

A bit spendy for a basic eye exam, but great service all around. Everyone was quite cordial and maintained proper CDC guidelines which was nice to see.

I was charged for my eye exam which was covered under my Humana plan. They charged me $56 and my wifes eyecare provide charged $0. However I will say that the Dr. was very good.

Worst spot ever. Over priced and snots. i would not recommend anyone to go to this place.. They charge for shipping and than dont send them and u have to wait to get your $ back. If need to go there. Get eyes checked. And just get prescription # and order online. Only cost 10% of there price
