Ashley did my hair. Shes really good. The place us clean & the people are friendly.

This past year I switched salons to The Fine Line and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to do so. Christine is my hair gal (although relatively newer to the area) is super talented and comes with lots of experience. The Fine Line also has lots of beautiful and fun clothes and I usually end up with a cute dress as well. Thank you Christine and Fine Line!

I went there to get blonde highlights. My hair is brown. I wanted to look blonde. She finished and and when i looked she added brown into my hair along with few blonde. Looked like stripes. But only did the top. Not underneath. So I called the next day and said was not what wanted. Not only that but the total for hair and eyebrows was 180.00. Most I ever paid before. I am a single mother in college. She made me another appointement and went in and she put blonde underneath. She should of added blonde highlights all over because still looked like a brunette. It has been a week and my hair looks ridiculous. Just a few blonde spots thrown in there. I do not look like a blonde like wanted and will never get highlight done there again. I spent that money to try and feel better about myself and i feel worse and hate my hair.

Christine is awesome! I am so impressed with her knowledge, and she makes my hair look and feel amazing! The salon itself is adorkable; the fun, eclectic decor compliments the space.

I got mine and my sons hair and brows done there today. My sons hair turned out fine, no problems, he had a different stylist. However, I noticed my eyebrows were very uneven, but I wasnt given a mirror to look closer and just assumed it may have been my scar and even brought up that it was ok if my scar made it a bit uneven I would fix it. Once I got to the car and looked in a close up mirror I noticed my left eyebrow was totally misshapen and almost completely waxed off, and I cant even fix it without having to wear makeup every day. I will now have to regrow my eyebrow out to reshape what she waxed off. I still left her a 20$ tip, and all... However I didnt even get an apology for what she did. And I know it was incredibly noticeable because the other two salon workers noticed quite blatantly and were staring at it. Its pretty humiliating to have to walk around like this with one eyebrow waxed almost off and misshapen to hell. Im not really sure what to do here as I cant really fix anything. Im pretty sure she still charged me for the wax even though she literally destroyed my eyebrow. I had intended on coming back here for future appointments but after this Im good. I spent over $100 here for hair cuts and eyebrow waxing just to have my eyebrow waxed off. I also had to trim my hair further as it was totally lopsided. I wont be returning here, which is unfortunate.

LLLLOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE this salon! It is NYC fashion meets Minnesota nice. What a beautiful piece of art the entire interior is... and how they have organically built a full-service salon and spa into this gorgeous historical home is beyond me! The staff is always welcoming as if I were invited in for a special dinner... not just coming for a routine hairdo. Hip is here... happy is here... and the stylists are rockin with talent! I most consistently see Kathy but have been to a few other stylists as well and could RAVE a whole page about each one as a totally positive experience and a wonderful outcome of my do. I highly recommend that The Fine Line be your home for hair fashion forever!

I agree that the big White House is different than most salon and spa. However, very cute concept once you enter through the front doors. The man salon is in the back downstairs. It was very busy and intimidating at first. Though looking around and listening, it appeared most of the clientele were regulars. The customer service was good considering they were so busy. This was my first time there and I really wasnt sure what to expect. I was thinking I may not go back because not my thing, I honestly felt a bit uncomfortable. Ashley cut my hair exactly how I wanted it cut. It looked great and in the end thats all that matters. Prices are comparable to anywhere else. I will go back and have Ashley cut my hair every time.

This is a 1st class salon! Im a NYC transplant, and have been to many top notch salons in Manhattan, this is comparable (exceeds in some areas) to my experience in super expensive salons.The service is superb (Kathy~owner is very genuine & friendly!) Ashley is a master in coloring/cuts & styling. A great experience, I will definitely keep going back!

Abigail was so sweet and did a fantastic job!! Would definitely go back to her or another stylist! They all seem wonderful and very accommodating.If you havent visited I would definitely recommend it.

Ive had a wonderful experience every time Ive been there. Ashley was my stylist this time and she used her expertise to help me choose the right cut for me.

I think sometimes its hard for a guy to find a good place to get a regular haircut. Im thankful for the Fine Lines mens spot downstairs. Its a comfortable atmosphere (not girly), and Becky is fantastic! Shes a great hair stylist and is always friendly and cheerful. Also, as a guy, I dont like to spend a ton on my hair. But for $25, I get my hair cut, beard trimmed, the works... Its a no brainier. This place is a win!

Was not overly impressed. My massage was a 1 hour that ended up being more like 45min. For a $70 massage it should not be cut short. I arrived on time. My massage therapist used extremely hard pressure and never asked how the pressure was. It was down right painful. I asked her to ease up and she did not. She was not very friendly or personable nor was any of the staff. When it came time to pay I walked myself out to the lobby and browsed at product while the cold receptionist just watched me with out speaking a word to me. I paid and bought some product and she was not friendly either. Nobody thanked me for coming. Save yourself the $$ and go someplace else. The massage room was bright not dark at all so you could not really relax either. The interaction I had today was awkward to say the least with the staff. Not worth the money at all. In fact I regret purchasing product as everyone was rather rude.

Came to the Fine Line salon in hopes someone could fix my not-so-great bangs and layers someone else had cut a week ago. Got an appointment with Abi and she did wonders! Went from feeling like a hot mess to feeling like I was myself again. Not only was she super friendly, but a great listener and we shared some laughs. Definitely a salon full of quality stylists!

When you first walk up it’s like ummmmm I don’t know about this, big White House!! I loved it! Ashley did an amazing job on my hair, went from red to blonde and I love it! The cut she gave me was exactly what I asked for! I will definitely be back. Thank you for making my day Ashley I love it!!

The Fine Line is a pampering experience with top notch stylists! I’ve been in a couple times and the latest was for a perm. I’ve had many perms in my life, but never here. Katherine was my go to gal and she was amazing. She not only did a great job on my hair, but she educated me like I never had been before! She put my likes and dislikes first even though I insisted that she just do what she wants with my hair. She spent all her time with me and it took a full 3 hours (I told you, I have a lot of hair!!!!) I appreciated the fact that she conversed with me and not other stylists or customers, she truly cared about me, her customer. The environment is relaxing and they always make sure you have something to drink while you visit. They have so much knowledge of the products and are willing to demonstrate how to use them, without the pushy sales lines. Their appointment process is super easy and they even send you text reminders (if you choose.) Prices are typical of an Aveda salon and totally worth it. This isn’t Great Clips—you pay for what you get. While you wait for your appointment they even have some cute boutique items on display throughout the store. I’ve never made use of the spa but it’s in a fabulous separate space away from the hair stylists and noise. I highly recommend stopping in for a cut, color, curl, or anything else hair/spa related. You won’t regret it.

Originally I was so excited to work with this salon. I had contacted them for services at my wedding! I had originally contacted them in January and they had gotten back to me right away with the contract and prices. About 4 months later, they got back in contact with me to solidify all the details; I sent in the contract to officially book with them as well as the price sheet they had sent me those months later. Come to find out, they had raised their prices. I asked for the new, updated prices to determine if I was going to stick with them. At this point, I was about 3 months out from my wedding and was getting to “crunch time.” Their original bid would have cost me around $700 for 6 people (hair and makeup). That being double what it would cost at the salon because I requested for the service to be completed onsite, which I found reasonable. After a couple emails back and forth, Kathy more than doubled my pricing. Making my new grand total almost $2000 for the same exact services.I understand salons have overhead costs, travel expenses, and so on, but for 6 people to receive hair and makeup services that is not reasonable. I also fully understood that I would have higher costs due to on-site services, but the site was only 50 miles. So for hair/makeup services and travel, they would have about 5 hours of work. I do not think that $400/hour is reasonable.My recommendation with this company is to be weary. Whatever their reason for increasing their prices so significantly, whether they had a better opportunity or not, honesty in pricing goes a long way. Kathy and I exchanged a few emails back and forth trying to work out pricing, but I was so upset I ended up finding a better salon with better pricing and ultimately better service. Thank goodness I wasn’t stuck with that closer to my wedding. I’m sure I would have ended up doing my own hair and makeup.

Went here to get my hair colored and they did a fantastic job! I am completely in-love with my hair now that I have something professionally done. A beautiful building and environment when you first walk through the door. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to this place!

I highly recommend The fine Line! I had my first cut and color service this weekend with Hannah and shes amazing! Shes very knowledgeable and talented in her work and a sweetheart and I have found my new hair home since relocating from the metro area.

Been here for wedding prep (my brothers and my own). Very friendly staff. Hair stayed put (which for me is really saying something). My makeup was also done for my wedding and looked amazing. Out of my budget for my normal salon but highly recommend.

Ive been to the salon a few times to have my hair done. Kaitelyn has been personable, knowledgeable, and fun to work with both times! Great atmosphere as well. I would recommend the spa and plan to return soon.

My wife had a massage here and had an excellent experience. My wife says, Vanessa is from heaven. Thank you for a relaxing, exceptional massage!!!! The ambiance is calming and charming. The massage table was even heated!!!

Excellent atmosphere and quality of service! They carry Aveda and Bumble and Bumble products and have a number of pampering services including nail and spa pedis!

This place is expensive for their services. We got a manicure & pedicure here. The pedicure they used a puma stone on your feet. My manicure was the worst Ive ever gotten. It started chipping the next day & I had polish on more then my finger nails. I never called in to complain because I was just so dissatisfied that I dont want to go back, ever.

Not even a shampoo...a dry hair cut... and not even a good dry haircut. Have the worst side bangs now that are way too short and uneven. Gotta find someplace that can fix this mess. Not going back.
