My family and I just moved here and needed to establish a new pediatrician for my son who was just born. We tried this place and absolutely regret it. The person who took vitals appeared very unprofessional and I can’t Even say that she was anything medical. We waited for over an hour I finally stepped out the room to ask when we would be seen. I’m not sure who I was speaking with but she said there was some type of emergency and I would be the physicians last patient then they had to leave. I asked how long that would be and she couldn’t give me an answer she offered to have the other MD see me which I said was fine just let me know how long because of it wasn’t in 10 min we were going to have to leave. I told her this hasn’t been a good first experience and I was starting to feel uncomfortable being there because of what I was seeing with the staff then what she was telling me about the emergency. She apologized then sent in an NP which after 1 min of the NP seeing my son they sent in a chaperone for reasons I was unsure of. That just added to me feeling more uncomfortable being there. The NP I saw was nice but it was a joke she never mentioned anything to me about vaccines or asked if I had any questions. I seriously felt like I was seen in a clinic by people with 0 credentials to be doing what their doing.

The people in office for absent reports sure give you a hard time. Hold takes forever. Got hung up on. Very unhappy. I drive 45 minutes to be a patient for my child so I am at their mercy for faxes or emails. Just asking for life to not be so complicated. A simple fax to my childs school is not that hard to do. Unhappy parent. Happy with Dr.s onService. When child is seen. Nurses are very nice.

We have been to this office since it first opened and have been seeing Dr. Ladies since my 1st daughter was born 15 years ago. We always have great experiences here, I really recommend this place.

I used to love this dr office for my son, but lately they have really been slacking. They never answer the phone when I try to call to make an appointment. This has been the 3rd time this week I can not get ahold of anyone? 👎🏼

Front end has no idea what they are doing. Been asking for 4 days for 1 medical diagnosis sheet for my grandson. Always some excuse. They call me constantly when Ive told them to use his fathers number. Do not reccomend.

Beyond impressed at how nice they are and had no trouble all 3 times I called they answered right away and Corey and Cassandra were extremely thorough and beyond helpful!! Super high hopes for this office with my sons complex medical history!!! Definitely impressed before even the first appointment!!!

I LOVE the office assistants, nurses, and doctors. They’re all extremely caring and really have your child’s health as their number 1 priority. I’ve had an issue waiting ONE time which they apologized profusely for even though I wasn’t really bothered as stuff happens. No problems getting through when I call. We see Dr Gonzalez typically who I absolutely love and seems to always go beyond what she’s required to do. I definitely recommend!

The office is slow. However, Dr. Gonzales is amazing. One complaint though is: I had to get forms. The receptionist said to call first to make sure they had them and it will usually take a day. I called outside the office so I could potentially avoid taking my toddler out of the car. Well, the receptionist put me on hold. I was waiting for 5 minutes when I decided to hang up. So I walk in and the receptionist was just putting papers away!? I was annoyed. I think the management could be a lot better.

This place has gone downhill since 2016! Will not continue my childrens healthcare here. THE WORST medical office/staff

Great doctors, office staff. Only issue (and its major) is the wait times can be insane. Over an hour wait (no explanation or apology) for a scheduled appointment is a little bit nuts. Other than that, great office.

My son was with Whole Child from 6 days to about 11 weeks. I had so many issues with Dr. Ladines .she would be in with my son for maybe 5 mins. I would voice my concerns about my son and she would over talk me. I feel she did not care about the well being of my son. Why would it take her 8 weeks to send my child out for images, after I’ve been telling her something was not right with him .But on the other hand Dr. Gonzalez was amazing I love her. She was very helpful and she took her time in the examination room.i would recommend Dr. Gonzalez to any one looking for a pediatric she is awesome. Also the nurse Nikki is amazing very friendly

Dr. WISHNEW was amazing, caring and understanding, she listened to all of our concerns and was very throughout with her plan. It was a pleasure to meet you and thank you again for taking care of my teen.

This is the last time I will be bringing my son here. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our appointment and then proceeded to wait 45 minutes in the waiting room as we watched 8 other people that arrived after us go right in for their appointment. I cant figure it out. I guess your better off showing up late. Its a shame we really liked Dr. Rucker. If you have insurance there are much better options this place.

I love the nurses Nikki and Valia, they’re so good with my son. Dr Ladines and Dr Gonzales are great. The receptionists are very nice. Only complaint is long wait times, but they usually will take my number and let me wait in the car.

Dr.Rucker has been seeing my daughter since her first day. She is a wonderful doctor. Always listens to my concerns and helps clarify/solves them. Always friendly with a smile. Makes us feel part of the family.

Wait times are extremely high. Be prepared to wait 40-60 minutes plus before you see a doctor. The front desk doesn’t answer the phone very often either. On a postive side, Dr. Ladine’s is very caring and a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Ladines is very personable and really takes the time to answer all of your questions. She has called me during the weekend to check on my baby. She is such a kind, patient doctor. The only thing is, dont be late because they will take all other patients before you if youre late, even if theyre appointment is after yours.

There are so many reasons why I wont rate this place . I will never take my son back no matter what because they didnt care to treat him . Dr . Ladies wanted to criticize more what we did than worry about our sons health. The staff in the front will treat mothers like crap while they flirt with the fathers . They didnt even want to give me a appointment unless my husband was going to be there . They roll their eyes and are hateful when you check in or when you make another appointment if your the mother. I refuse to recommend this place to anyone unless you like to wait forever, be ignored, talked to like your trash , & dont really care about your childs health . Mothers should be treated with so much respect and dignity instead of like trash because those young girls at the front desk dont have their hormones in check that is not our fault or problem.

We absolutely love this place for our children we have been with Doctor Cecilia Ladines for over 8 years.... the quality of the care my children receive is outstanding.... the receptionist are always kind and courteous and willing to help... we have never waited in the waiting room past 10 to 15 minutes after arriving and the nurses are phenomenal in the way they handle the children and make them comfortable.. the place is super clean and never have I seen anything that makes me feel uneasy. Dr. Ladines never makes you feel rushed and always takes the time to hear your concerns and address them and she also talks to the children and learn things about them and ask them about those things next time they come in because she truly cares about her patients... the kids are so used to her its like shes a part of our family I definitely wouldnt take my kids anywhere else!

I have never been to this office but I was told my daughters Dr. ( Dr.Abello-Gonzalez) would be transferring to this office, so needless to say I will be following. I love this Dr more than words can describe!! She has the best demeanor, bed side manor, all around best everrr!!!

Pros: Dr. Hubbard is very caring and takes the time to listen.Cons: Office staff rarely answers and doesnt return calls. Wait time can be over an hour. :(

My childrens Doctor is wonderful, Dr. Landines (hope I spelled it correctly). Great environment as well. My only problem is Everytime I call no one at the front desk ever answers as if its closed.

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Ladines for a few years now, and have never had an issue. Wait times (in the office as well as on the Phone) have been minimal. Even though we only go about once a year, the doctor seens to remember us. The nurses and front desk are always polite and friendly. I really like how they direct their questions at my child-- let HER be involved in her own care!

The wait time at this office is normally less than 10 minutes. Dr. Ladines and her staff genuinely care about their patients and treat them as family. My children have been receiving the best care and treated with utmost respect. At several times when I requested urgent appointments, Dr. Ladines has always agreed to squeeze my children in for timely care. Id like to recommend this practice to all loving parents, you will receive the peace of mind with Dr. Ladines and her team.

Me and my wife love doctor Rucker. She has always taken good care of my children!

I can always call and squeeze in an appointment when my daughter is suddenly sick . Wait time is about 20 minutes but you do not feel rushed when you are seeing the doctor . Both Dr. Ladines and Dr. Ruckers are very knowledgeable and caring. Ive been taking my three-year-old and a 16-month-old since we met in the hospital. Great late hours

Love the friendliness from both Dr Rucker, Dr Ladines and staff. They are very helpful and always explain things thoroughly. Love the fact that they will always work with me to fit my kids in when they are sick. I would definitely recommend them. They make me feel at home.

I love this place... the staff and the Drs are really nice... I see Dr Ladines for 2 of my kids and Dr Rucker for one of them and I dont have any complains about how they treat my kids ... I love it so much that even thou I have one of the office close by I choose to go 25 min drive to see them... I didnt see Dr Ladines for about a year and she still remember my kids... love her professionalism and most of all how caring she is

We moved to the area in 2012, not knowing what doctor to go to we chose Whole child. What a bad decision! There office staff is about what youd expect for a doctors office (one that accepts Medicaid), not sure about others in the practice but our doctor lacked basic knowledge and was unable to direct us in the right direction (referrer us to another dr. ). Our typical wait time was about 30 - 45 min in the waiting room then another 30 - 45 min in the room. Every time we went there we had to clear at least two hours of our time just for a simple visit. The latest time we went there ( Jan 26, 2014) our daughter had signs of the Flu (even though this office gave her a flu shot) My wife made an appointment and showed up at the agreed time. Needless to say my wife waited in the waiting room watching people come in after her be brought back and taken care of. She called me upset and I informed her to just go to the walk in clinic. She was seen right away and treated.. Months have passed and Whole Child has yet to call and even see why she left, try and make anything right, apologize, or just reach out to us. This practice is a joke and Id recommend NO ONE to go there. I offer nothing but our experience with this practice and hope other dont find out the hard way like we did. We now have different insurance and are long gone! As a side note, our doctors name was Cecilia Ladines.

I did not like Dr. Rucker. My son was terrified of her and she was usually rude and had this way of talking down to the parents. She had ridiculously high expectations for my childs development and sent me to specialists who told me my child was just fine. I would not recommend her.

I drive from Sarasota just to take my son here. Love it.

I have 2 children and both have been going to Dr Cecilia Ladines for about 6 years now.Cecilia and Rajivi have become more than just Doctors they have come to know and grow a genuine love for my kids. Their staff are the kindest most professional office I have ever experienced. Threw all the bumps and milestones of my kids healthy and sick they experience and care for so many kids but never leave anyone feeling like they are stuck in a factory to be filtered in and out much like I experienced with the sarasota health department.I have a soon to be step daughter I had to take to a different doctors office and experience an office that have her bouncing from doctor to doctor with no real knowledge of who she is and how she has been from one medication to the next and it was so heartbreaking to see her have to go through so many doctors who seemed unwilling to listen and care for her the way my kids doctors office is.I am so glad I have my children in the care of Dr. Cecilia and her staff. Every time my kids visit she somehow manages to remember both my children even when one is not their. She helps makes decisions with me and helps me understand every medication given to the kids. We discus the pros and cons of everything given and she educates my health knowledge so that the kids receive the best possible care growing up in a world where so many germs can cause health issues. She teaches preventative care so that the visits are more well visits than sick.Thank you Whole Chile Pediatrics in Lakewood Ranch Sarasota. This office should receive recognition for all their hard work and professional help to so many children. I brag about this office to as many parents as I can.

Since my daughter was born 9 years ago she has been through 3 pediatricians before we found Dr. Rucker ... Yes Dr. Rucker can be a bit abrasive BUT she isnt the type to sugarcoat ANYTHING! That is what I like about Dr. Rucker the most ... My daughter has a severe allergy to dustmites (she should be the girl in the plastic bubble) and Dr. Rucker is not only a pediatrician but an allergist as well and she knows what needs to be done to keep my daughters allergies in check! My daughter is also bipolar and Dr. Rucker KNOWS how to handle her when she gets out of hand on the visits. Dr. Rucker gets on the childs level and talks to THEM about what they should be doing to stay healthy as well as the parents. She makes the child responsible for their health as well as the parent and I LOVE that about Dr. Rucker! I love the way she includes the children! The staff is also ALWAYS friendly and each and every one of them know the name of my daughter when she walks in the front door b/c you hear them say, HEY EMILY!! They are always friendly to me and I never wait more then 15 mins before we are back in a room. Im a single mom who works full time and I cant always afford to get off work early so fortunately this office is open to 8pm on Mondays and Im ALWAYS able to get an appt after 6pm! I HIGHLY recommend this place to ANYONE and EVERYONE I can! The staff and doctors are AWESOME!!!

Wait tonight is going on 1.5 hr for an appointment booked months ago. Picked up my child early from school, to assure we arrived 15 min early. Front desk unable to do anything, they agreed they were overbooked. Have been seeing Dr Ladines for 3 years, but have to part ways. The wait is always lengthy, had a billing discrepancy last year and received a strongly worded letter (and numerous phone calls) last year from a Ms Cherry, in the corporate office for non compliance, because we didnt use their referral. Tonight is the straw. Luckily, was able to get to work on time, due to her dad coming to sit out the wait. 2 hours total time. That wait is hard for an adult, never mind a kid. This is how you treat a patient you never want to see again. We got the message loud and clear. Over scheduled doctors should advocate for their patients with the corporate office, MCR. MCR should adjust schedule accordingly. Called Ceo, left a vm, will update if they respond. Would not recommend this office to anyone. Especially if you live in the land of the working class, where there are clocks.

Ive been taking my 17 month old to Dr. Ladines since he was born. I have to say that at first the wait times to be seen was way too long! I almost left, but then miraculously they cleaned it up and have become super efficient. The last 2 visits with Dr. Ladines, they saw me right away at my appointment time, and Dr. Ladines came in immediately! I know she works very hard and is very knowledgable, but she also knows the limits of her expertise and this is important! When she couldnt answer a hard question, she referred me to the right experts and she called me to talk to me about it. I wanted to keep her as my sons pediatrician, so Im very glad that they made such an effort to turn around their office to make it more efficient!

Terrible wait time, have been waiting 2.5 hours to see the doctor. There was only 4 people ahead of me & then they skipped us let in some patient after he only waited 15 minutes. Never going back.

They listen to my concerns and arent all about putting my kids on medication to fix everything which means a lot to me plus make sure they get to know my kids and how to cumuicate with them especially my son with disabilities which my sons other doctor didnt.
