I have been seeing Dr. McGill for a few years now. She is very professional, explains things that I need to know and is willing to work with me on certain issues. She is taking care of my hypothyroidism and is always making sure that I am getting the tests and procedures that I need for my age. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Claire is without a doubt the best family Doctor in the area. If you get a chance to book a visit for any of your family needs, align with her and her office. A+++++

My experience with Dr. McGill was to find her very thorough, caring and quite competent. I would highly recommend her with full confidence as a primary care provider.

I had a skin test for tuberculosis done by a medical aide, not a nurse, who is not properly trained nor competent to perform this procedure. It was administered incorrectly. I returned 75 hours later for interpretation and was told that, since I was a doctor, I should know better because the test should be interpreted between 48-72 hours. A difference in 3 hours is not significant. The test result would have been the same. I was then blamed by the physician that I should have known better. They refused to interpret the test.Both the physician and the medical aide are incompetent. I have practiced pediatrics and child neurology for almost 40 years and can not recall a physician being so abrasive and condescending.I will not be returning which is unfortunate because the front office personnel are kind and very personable.

Dr. McGill is amazing! My teenage daughter and I both recently started going to her and we were both immediately more comfortable with her than any previous doctor either of us have seen. She really takes the time to listen to you and discuss any concerns. She is very kind and obviously very intelligent. I feel confident in her capabilities and Im so glad I chose to give her a try.

Dr. McGill is a very thorough. She listens and is open to questions and my own observations. She is polite and easy to deal with.

Shes been my doctor for almost 2 years and she is the best.

I totally agree with all the above one star comments especially the physician who commented.. Dr. McGill is a very arrogant and condescending physician who does not listen and when she does, she smirks and gives a wise guy comment. Shes young, so hopefully she will learn how to be a compassionate healer as she matures. If not, she should find another profession.

I have never felt so uncomfortable with a doctor before, I felt like I was being interrogated when I let her know I wanted her to rewrite the RX because the psychiatrist she referred me to wrote it incorrectly, and I wanted to have dr. McGill do my refills going forward, she asked me why I didn’t have him rewrite the RX and I told her well I thought you could do it since I’m seeing you for the refill going forward! I also mentioned to her nurse i’m 100% I have auto that keeps coming back so I did a urine specimen and Dr McGill advised me that, even though I have a high white blood cell count in my urine she needs to find out what antibiotic she can give me, but can’t until the test results come back. I’m sitting here miserable having the urge to pee every 20 min. I need to switch drs my husband sees Dr. Payal and she is very compassionate and accommodating. I feel like Dr. McGill does not do her job, she did not retrieve the records from the psychiatrist she referred me to, like it’s my job to do that.

My family and I had an awful experience with Dr. McGill and her staff, and highly recommend you find someone else, anyone else, when looking for family care around Lakewood Ranch. Dr. McGill was very rude and short with my wife, while being annoyed by just taking the appointment, they then misrepresented what my wifes visit covered and are now charging us over $300 additional out of pocket. They wont work with us at all, and are incredibly rude and dismissive. Just lost our business and anyone we know will get this review as well.

She needs to go back to school, the worst doctor I’ve ever met. Not even a contest

In my opinion, she was very dismissive and in a hurry. I was very disappointed and felt like it was a total waste of time seeing her while I was sick.
