My father was a patient of Dr. Kona’s and went to her about some pain he was having. She thought it was arthritis, gave him pain meds and sent him on his way. A few weeks later, the pain was not getting any better, he went back to her. She now thought it was something else and wanted to try giving him a cortisone shot. Nothing helped. 10 weeks of back and fourth with her, she kept prescribing pills instead of investigating why his pain wasn’t getting better. He finally went to a NEW doctor and has cancer that has already spread to his bones. He wasted 10 weeks while this cancer was spreading. 10 weeks.

Well run professional office. I have had several FaceTime appointments with Dr and staff. All woks great. Very competent team to support a very caring and communicative Doctor. What a pleasure and all round great experience. I highly recommend this primary care doctor and office.

I had experienced severe lower abdominal pain starting on Monday. On Thursday, I finally decided I needed to call. Dr. Kona wanted to see me that same day. After Dr. Konas exam, she felt I needed a CT scan and the front office facilitated in getting me scheduled for said CT scan immediately. I feel Dr. Kona and her staff are extremely concerned with their patients welfare.

It was my first visit and it was a very positive and friendly experience, I wish I had been a patient long time ago.

Sensible, thoughtful, well informed care from Dr Kona and her associates. They listen really well, are flexible in their approach to treatment - if one thing doesnt work for some reason theyll try another, and do it quickly. Scheduling remote visits is handled really well - last time I was having an issue the doctor was able to fit me in via FaceTime within an hour, which is unheard of.

She seems rushed and in turn rushes me out. It doesnt seem to bother her a bit. In fact I felt pressured to sit and not question or voice concern or otherwise. Im extremely unhappy about my healthcare experience there.
